Running google-chrome or firefox in windows-7 ultimate works for the most part, locks-up with a server error when trying to open a window on a specific component etc. Opening the data-sheet functions and adding the item to the basket. Apart from that, i get what i order quickly. Albeit in vastly over-packed cartons where small components could be put into a padded envelope !

Re logging in at check out cleared my basket
I was logged in with a basket but when I came to check out it made me log in again and then do a password reset and after that process my basket was empty. As a consequence when I recreated the basket I added incorrect items so will now have to try and buy them again.
On the whole the shopping experience is really very good and the delivery was on time

I’ve ordered from Farnell..
I have ordered from Farnell for some time now. Where stock exists in the UK, they deliver promptly. All the parts are clearly labelled when they arrive making BOM check easy. They even have an app to import your CAD BOM to make ordering your parts easy. Unlike some sites, when you’re searching for parts it’s easy to find them.
