Very cool family trip to Egypt
We had a wonderful time on our trip to Egypt. We didn’t know what to expect and didn’t know if we could believe all of the positive reviews, but the trip exceeded all of our expectations. Everything was made easy for us. We were met in the airport by someone who helped get our visas. We weren’t sure then handed off to a trusted driver who got us to the hotel and got us checked in. The next morning we ate breakfast and met our tour guide, Yasser, and our tour group. From that point on we were in the very capable hands of Yasser, who spent the rest of the week giving us tours of the top attractions in the country. He explained things very well, and we felt like we got to see the most amazing places in the country and got the best explanations of those places. I was traveling with kids, so I was a little worried about safety, but during the entire trip I never felt unsafe. The food was delicious, the accommodations ranged from good to great, and the trip was a blast. I highly recommend TripToGo, especially if you visit Egypt.

Deceptive billing practices
I am writing this to express my extreme disappointment with TripToGo. I booked a major family trip to China (Beijing and Shanghai) for late May 2026. After they cancelled at the last minute and I was left with non refundable flights, TripToGo explicitly promised me a full refund in writing. However, they have withheld $95 of my payment without justification for travel insurance I couldn’t use. For a company that markets 'transparent pricing' and maintains significant operations in both New York, NY, and Markham, ON (675 Cochrane Dr), this breach of a written promise is a major red flag. I have documented proof of the full refund agreement, yet I am still fighting to get my own money back.I am requesting that management at either the Ontario or New York office resolve this immediately. If the remaining $95 is not returned, I will be proceeding with filing complaints with the New York State Division of Consumer Protection and the Ontario Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery.

I am writing to share my feedback on my recent 21-day Odyssey Southeast Asia tour. Overall, it was an excellent experience and a wonderful value. I was very impressed by how well the organization planned the itineraries across all four countries.
The hotel accommodations, cruises, and meals provided throughout the journey were exceptional, and I would give them a five-star rating. I also want to highlight some of our specific experiences:
- Thailand: Our tour guide, Patty, was wonderful.
- Cambodia: Horn did an excellent job explaining the history of the region. My only regret is that I wish we had spent more days in Phnom Penh.
- Vietnam: This portion was less enjoyable due to a significant delay at the border. We arrived on a day when the immigration computer system was down, resulting in a four-hour wait. Losing half a day was unfortunate, as I believe we would have enjoyed Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi much more with that extra time.
- Bali: We enjoyed the flexibility of this leg of the trip. We hired a private driver, Tio, who was excellent. He was very patient as he drove us to highlights like the Monkey Forest Sanctuary and the Holy Water Temple.

When I first saw this Asian bucket list trip, I couldn’t believe the value for the price and it is all still there. But I realized it was too long to travel in both directions without taking more control over the flights both to upgrade and change the routing. Concerns regarding proposed replacement tour
I am extremely disappointed with my experience booking through TripToGo.
I purchased a Japan vacation package that included flights and hotel accommodations. After booking, I arranged time off from work, made travel plans, and spent considerable time preparing for the trip. I was later informed that the tour operator was no longer operational and that my original tour had been canceled.
What I find most frustrating is that the replacement being offered is not equivalent to what I originally purchased. My booking included flights, yet the alternative provided is a land-only tour that requires me to arrange and pay for airfare independently. This shifts additional cost, risk, and planning responsibilities onto me despite the cancellation being entirely outside of my control.
To make matters worse, the original trip continued to appear on the company's website even after I was informed that the supplier was no longer operating, which created confusion regarding the status of the tour.
While customer service was polite and responsive, the overall resolution has not adequately addressed the inconvenience caused by the cancellation. Travelers book vacation packages expecting the company to honor the package purchased or provide a truly comparable alternative. In my case, that has not happened.
I would encourage anyone considering booking through TripToGo to carefully review cancellation policies and understand what protections are available should a supplier cancel a tour after purchase.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend TripToGo.
