It was a great concert

It was a great concert. Just felt the crowd control on the hill could have been better. Very hard to get up and down safely. People trying to get up and down with crutches and even seen someone trying to go up and down with a wheelchair. Everytime I had to go up and down to the bar or toilet it was a bit of an ordeal as you were afraid you would push someone or be pushed down.
Bins around the grounds would have kept the place cleaner.
All staff polite and parking well organised.
Vendors were very quick. We got out quickly before the concert finished.
Overall great

Very difficult to book

I tried to book tickets on 2 separate days, one with access to presale. On the first day every time I clicked on tickets and went to pay, one of the tickets would disappear, I ended up in such a fluster that somehow I managed to buy a single ticket. Then on the second day I chose 2 seats together but by the time I went to pay I was given 2 separate seats, I didn't notice at the time because I was in a rush to pay so I didn't lose them. And I heard from others that they had a similar experience. It was a very difficult process.

Really disappointed

Really disappointed with how the concert was run - the sound quality was very poor, two bars for 80,000 people and the toilet facilities .. shocking and having to Q for 40 to 50 minutes to use them. I paid €300 for two tickets for the Saturday night and €300 for the Sunday - we didn’t go on the Sunday as a result.

Expected a More Engaging Concert Experience

Вот более короткий вариант:

Ticket purchase was easy and everything worked smoothly. However, the overall event experience was disappointing.

The sound quality was good, but there were no large screens or special visual effects. Since I wasn’t close to the stage, I was difficult to see the performance and I didn’t feel very involved.

Leaving the venue was also frustrating. The first bus was full and didn’t take any more passengers, so I had to wait for the next one. My phone battery was almost dead, and there was nowhere to charge it.

Overall, I expected a more engaging concert experience.

Excellent concert

Excellent concert. We had no problems with any of the facilities. We were parked in the red carpark and it was a very short walk to the venue, probably about 10-20 minutes. Plenty of good clear signage, plenty of staff to help if needs be.

Ticketmaster should be renamed TicketTouts

Original price I paid for Luke Combs tickets was €130 each, I was unable to attend concert and decided to resell, ticketsmasters relisted the tickets for €330 each. Absolute gangsters as bad the ticket touts. Obviously the tickets didn't sell and I lost the price of two tickets and booking fee. The sooner this website is properly regulated the better for everyone.

Found the experience very good

Found the experience very good. No issues but we were at the very back of the crowd which I felt helped. Massive crowd (probably too many people).
The screen was ahead of the sound up the back so it was hard to follow on the screen.

Slane 2026 Day2

The venue and artist were amazing. Sound was brilliant. There was ample choices for food. The 1 star deduction is for the crowd management. Not leaving cause that's just 80k people all leaving together. It was the ridiculous one way systems for everything. Fuelling people down the hill not allowing people who arrived early to sit where there was a small breeze. Surely the grounds are big enough to organise a more festival flow like Marlay Park/St Anne's Park etc. People who arrived later could barely get into the grounds.

Well organised

Well organised.
Venue amazing, natural amphitheatre.
People were friendly and chilled enjoying the fantastic atmosphere of live music. The light show was awesome behind the main stage.
Just a note if Slane put three rows of benches along the bag of the hill it would just be amazing.
Overall an amazing day was had with my wonderful friend 🧡

Great service but maybe not for everyone!

Very easy to purchase tickets online. An easy website to navigate for me.The only issue I would have is that I can't get paper tickets anymore and I liked to collect them. Plus some people wouldn't have smartphones so going paper ticket less probably rules them out from going to a concert that they would otherwise go to. People should still have that option...paper ticket or phone ticket.

The crowd was far to big for slane .

The crowd was far to big for slane .. parking control at the end of the night was a shambles no organised queue to get out everything came to a bottle neck and people could of been seriously injured due to speeding in the field
