Tag works well, but then it is a standard generic tag. Customer service however is Kaput. Avoid this company.

Great service. Had issues with typing the wrong email on sign up and had help from customer service and was resolved in just over a week. Purchased the Tollbird tag for my journey to France in June and can’t wait to use it.
I think people who are complaining about the customer service aren’t giving them enough time to respond, can be scary at first when you see back reviews and you start to doubt them but I cannot fault their service so far, and your account is very easy to navigate once you log in.

Stay away from these scammers, I keep receiving invoices for no reason since I payed the subscription. I contacted their "customer service" and I never had any answer. Scammers. They should stay locked in jail not out there stealing money.

Had toll bird about 2-3 years often swap between different vehicles always works well no problems up to yet would highly recommend

Great experience! Ordered their box online. Was delivered from Germany swiftly. Attached it to my windscreen as instructed. Worked like a charm in both France and Spain not one issue. It saved so much time to my journey wish I had bought this little gadget earlier. Have not experienced billing side of things yet but am confident all will be well going by my very positive experience with Tolbird thus far.

I recently purchased Tollbird to drive through France into Spain for our holiday. Never driven in France but wanted to get through fairly quickly. Tollbird can be used in multiple countries so looked like a good option. I'm currently still in Spain but can honestly say on the way down my tollbird was faultless. Sometimes the tolls took a few seconds to register and a couple of times I thought it wasn't going to work but it did. Probably more my inpatients kicking in. I've read a few reviews that say terrible customer service or the box didn't turn up or that it just didn't work. I've had no dealings with customer service as I haven't needed to so I can't say either way there but in general the box has been good for me. I would say make sure you order it well before your trip as it comes from Germany and make sure you are in the correct lanes at the toll booths. I've had 5 withdrawals from my bank which seem to tally up with the route we took, cost of about £130 so all in all I've not had any problems as yet.

Order Tollbird box, but it's never been received by DHL who they said were delivering it.
Impossible to ring them- no number and they don't reply to emails.
Will be contacting credit card to get money back.

The device was paid for, and apparently shipped then returned to sender.. many weeks later, no answers to the emails..

Got to be the worst company for trying to contact I have ever come across. Check this before buying as like me if you try to conatct them after purchasing they do not reply and have no contact number. I cancelled delivery of mine and after a month still have not had a refund. I have been emailing every 3 days to be ignored. Do not buy, in my mind the measure of a company is its aftersales service. These have none.

I’ve been trying to contact them for some time. No response. No tag has arrived and they’ve taken the money. Needed it for a trip next week. I do t expect it to ever arrive and will be cancelling and requesting a refund. Avoid!

OMG... stay as far away as you possibly can from these people. They have absolutely NO idea of what they are doing, they will make a transaction on your account for each and every time you pass the toll booth making the number of transactions explode on your bank account.

They NEVER respond to your emails...

Reconciliations between Toll Transactions and billed amounts NEVER reconcile...

Customer service is as useful as a melted chocolate teapot...

Weeks after I stopped using their service they continued to charge my account and I had to remove the original bank card and replace it with one with zero balance so they would no longer charge me...

They say that is because allegedly "Telepass made a mess and they are still fixing it" but in reality, even the very first transactions were a total mess...

Have I said enough? Stay AWAY !!!!!

They responded very quickly (both by phone and email) very quickly to any questions I had - and in my native english. No more having multiple boxes for FR and IT!

Beware of TollBird - It's a SCAM!

I strongly advise everyone to stay away from TollBird. This company is a complete scam! They have attempted to charge my credit card twice for non-existent costs—once for €34.30 and then again for €50. They barely respond to emails, and when they do, the responses are dismissive and unhelpful.

I provided clear evidence from my Dashboard showing that I didn't use the device during July, yet they still claimed the €34.30 charge was legitimate. As for the €50 charge, they haven’t even bothered to remove it, but thankfully I blocked my card in time. I am returning the device as they claim this is the only way to terminate the contract, but this entire ordeal has been a nightmare.

Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating and disturbing experience. TollBird is not to be trusted!

Tollbird didnt work in Spain or France, Emailed customer services and got no reply. Complete waste of money Do Not Buy

Get one as others need to apply for France then Spain separately? Why

We decided to get a toll reader whilst we were on a touring holiday to save us having the usual problems when going through tolls, particularly in a right hand drive car.
We contacted Tollbird and Marcus was extremely quick replying even though it was Sunday and offered to leave the unit at a pick up point in Munich so that we could collect it on the way through.
As it happens we met him whilst we were there and he was a very nice chap.
We have now used it in Italy, France and Spain and it works flawlessly.
