Payoneer have been offering solutions for freelancers since many years. It is an important platform for us. 
Beware that payoneer might do account reviews from time to time and expect your account and balance locked for few weeks. I had mine locked for 2 months. But they eventually unlock it if you have good standings.
So, do not use it to hold your savings. But if you use it properly then it a very good platform.
Been using their services for 16 years +.
Payoneer froze my payment and I can’t reach a real person for days
I’m extremely disappointed with how Payoneer handles customer support.
My payment was first pending, and when I contacted support, they assured me everything was normal and I would receive it within a day. The next day, the payment was declined, yet I never received any email explaining why or where the money went.
I have no idea whether Payoneer is holding the funds or if they have been returned to my client. When I tried contacting support again, my account was suddenly put under review, and I could only talk to an AI bot that gives generic responses and prevents me from reaching a real person.
The review period was said to be 6 days, and even after I kept sending tickets asking for help, all I got was an automated message saying they would respond within 1 day. It has been days, and nothing has changed.
This is unacceptable. This payment is my salary, not a suspicious transaction. I have been a legitimate freelancer using Payoneer for work, and I deserve timely, transparent support, not silence and automated replies.
I hope Payoneer takes responsibility and improves their support process. Delaying people’s hard-earned money without communication is simply wrong.

Approved, then impossible to Receive Payments - A Support Nightmare
I am writing this review as a warning to other freelancers and small business owners, particularly those who operate on a B2C model. Do not trust Payoneer's marketing.
I chose Payoneer to simplify receiving USD bank transfers from my individual clients in the US to my UK-registered business. The initial verification process was extensive and thorough, and after submitting numerous documents, my business account was fully approved.
My satisfaction ended the moment I tried to use the service. I discovered that the core functionality—requesting payments from individuals—was disabled.
What followed was an abysmal and deeply unprofessional support experience under ticket 251006-004086. Over several days, I was passed between multiple agents who provided contradictory, evasive, and ultimately nonsensical information.
The key failures of their support were:
Refusal to be Transparent: They claimed my fully approved business was "ineligible" for B2C payments due to "platform guidelines," but they repeatedly refused to cite any specific term or clause, despite my direct requests.
Contradictory Information: They incorrectly stated that the Global Payment Service (the US bank details) also cannot be used for payments from individuals, a claim that contradicts the service's entire purpose. A pure lie.
Absurd "Solutions": The final, insulting suggestion from an agent named Vera was for me to simply "reapply for a new account"—a suggestion so unprofessional it borders on mockery.
Ignoring Escalation: A final, formal complaint email demanding clarification from a senior manager has been completely ignored.
Payoneer's support has made it clear they believe their platform is exclusively for B2B transactions. If this is true, their marketing is dangerously misleading. If it is false, their support team is incompetent and blocking legitimate businesses from using the service.
Verdict for other B2C businesses: Be extremely cautious. Payoneer will approve your account and then may block you from receiving the very payments you signed up for. Their support system is a black hole designed to close tickets, not solve problems. You will be left with an approved but completely unusable account. An extremely disappointing and frustrating waste of time.

My multi-currency accounts have been suspended.
I have been a Payonner customer for over four years. However, recently, following a temporary cessation of my online activities (mainly freelance and e-commerce), I wasn't using my account much, and apparently it has been deactivated for that reason. I have been trying to reactivate my accounts for two months now, but customer service has not responded to my request. I only receive bland automated messages, most of which are completely unrelated to my problem. I therefore hope to get a response from Payoneer here. It's a real shame that a company like this doesn't have good customer service. I switched to WISE, and they have excellent customer service and resolve all your concerns in less than 24 hours.

Worst Payment Gateway
They blocked my account without any reason. They are saying they found some activities in my accounts, where I never did a single transaction yet. Now I am unable to open any new account. That is why I tried to talk to the support now they are saying I can not use Payoneer anymore, they told me to find another payment gateway company.
