Excellent experience selling my golf…
Excellent experience selling my golf clubs. I answered the questions on the site and a quote was produced. I accepted the quote and Golfbidder sent me the label and packing kit. I took this to my local DPD pickup and received notification of the package pick up almost immediately. As soon as Golfbidder received my clubs I was sent a Hyperwallet link to complete the payment. Very slick from start to finish.

The club identification process is comprehensive & once the chosen match was made a quote was quickly offered.
The offer is competitive & packaging is sent through DPD to your home address (if requested).
The return package is fully tracked & excellent communication is provided by the courier.
Payment is quick once the Hyperwallet portal is negotiated which can be a little confusing - why ask for Building Society when your Bank detailed have been supplied (this 'box' should be left blank as I found out through a telephone call for advice).
Overall the whole process was quite painless with Golfbidder staff being very helpful.
I'll certainly be back-as & when.

Extremely poor management!!!!
Earlier this week, I travelled from East London with my elderly parents for two hours in traffic to go to Golfbidder. Before I made my way, I checked their opening times and google showed me they close at 5pm. Halfway there, I saw that the closing times was updated to 4pm. I called them to check and when I did, they confirmed they are open till 5pm.
A few minutes later, I got a call back from them telling me they have trainings and are closing the shop at 4pm instead. I requested if they could keep it open for half hour more because we are travelling a long way to get there. They said YES SURE, come along.
We reach the store exactly at 4:05pm and the shutters are down. We knock, no response. We call the line again and it goes to the switchboard who tell us, they are still open, go around to the other entrance. We go in a circle, same door, no response. We call the number again and no response.
If I could, I would give them negative stars. If they could not keep the shop open, they could have told us NO and saved us the travel (atleast 3 hours out of 4 that we were on the road!!!).
Extremely poor management.

On the day of your visit, we had staff training scheduled, which meant we needed to close earlier than our usual opening hours. We appreciate that you called ahead, and we're sorry for the confusion caused by the mixed messages regarding our closing time.
After reviewing the situation, the shop remained open until approximately 4:15pm to allow extra time for your arrival. Unfortunately, nobody arrived just after 4:00pm, and the team closed shortly afterwards to begin the training.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this caused and appreciate your feedback. We'll be reviewing our communication around temporary changes to our opening hours to help prevent this from happening again. Regards, GB
