I was planning to move to Barnet since early this year. However it was so sudden I need to move to Surrey instead due to family needs. Although I didn’t successfully rent any property from Foxtons North Finchley branch eventually. I just wanna make people know that Mr Jake Shooter is one of the best property agent I have ever talked to. He calls me from time to time checking if he can help. Even I was away from UK for two months overseas I still receive his call and he assured me he will call again. He really did. I am a bit sad that finally I won’t move to Barnet this time. But I will absolutely recommend Jake if someone needs helping. Jake is caring and professional!

I am very pleased with the lettings manager of Temple Fortune branch Mr Jamal Hussain. Jamal takes personalised interest in getting quality tenants and he is efficient, effective and available. His commitment towards the landlord and tenants is just and fair. Well done leetings team. However, the rent gets delayed each month which should be improved.

Selling a flat isn't easy at all today, it's extremely complicated with leaseholds. Andrea, Callum and Phoebe from Crystal Palace were excellent not just at selling the flat in a tough market but also handled the numerous complexities in the aftersale until completion.

We'll likely never move again but if we do, we'd try to use the same team again.

Despite the numerous negative reviews, we thought we should give Foxtons the benefit of the doubt…we most definitely should not have…

Avoid this branch if you value your time. We enquired about a 2 bed 2 bath property and answered a full set of questions from one agent (Dershan) the same day, such as move-in date, budget, occupants, jobs, salary, everything. Then silence for weeks. We called the office four times; no one picked up, and reception just promised a callback that never came.

When we finally got through, Dershan told us the property had received an offer. Days later a second agent, Wasim, called about the same flat and told us the offer had fallen through and it was still available. We arranged a viewing and we confirmed with him twice by text what property and price we were seeing.

We live in Luton, so this was a 90-minute trip each way. An hour into train journey, Wasim texted to check whether we were actually viewing the 1-bed instead of the 2-bed. When we arrived he told us the 2-bed had gone under offer again half an hour earlier, then couldn’t confirm whether the 1-bed even allowed pets, despite pets being disclosed and discussed with his own colleague weeks before. He then asked us to re-answer questions (do you have a car, do you have a pet) that had already been sent in writing to their own team.

No apology for the wasted trip, no accountability, just “that stuff is out of my control.” If two agents in the same department can’t keep track of one listing’s status or check their own inbox before booking a viewing, I have no confidence they’d manage a tenancy properly. Wouldn’t bother even attempting to rent through this branch.

Amelia has been so helpful in finding us a flat. Super lovely, kind and helping us find something in our budget. I would highly recommend working with Foxton an in particular Amelia ❤️

My property had some remedial work to be taken care of prior move-in — they handled everything in terms of coordinating repair work with contractors, which greatly removed direct from my shoulders.

Alex Fleet is honestly the best manager Foxtons has ever had, and in my experience, one of the best professionals I have dealt with within the company.

As a landlord of a building in Central London with more than five flats, I have dealt with Foxtons on many occasions and with different members of the team. Unfortunately, my previous experience with Foxtons was extremely disappointing, to the point that I decided to leave Foxtons completely. I was so disappointed that I even left a negative review about my experience.

However, Alex Fleet personally contacted me, and his professional, calm and reassuring approach completely changed my mind. He listened carefully to my concerns, understood my frustrations and handled the situation in a very professional manner. He managed to find solutions while also working within Foxtons’ company policies and regulations, and he genuinely made me feel that my concerns were being taken seriously.

What impressed me most is that Alex Fleet didn’t just convince me to give Foxtons another chance, he convinced me to trust Foxtons again with all five flats in my building and to bring my whole building back to the company.

I have worked with Shannan and Hamad to rent my property. They have always answered my phone calls, and phoned me when necessary. They are proactive and efficient, keeping me updated during the whole process. They work really hard until everything is agreed and right. They are a good team. The only aspect for Agostina to improve is the per cent is taken monthly.

Me and my partner found our first rental through Foxtons, and Haythum made the whole experience genuinely enjoyable. As first-time renters, we had a lot of questions, and he was patient, clear, and incredibly knowledgeable at every step — from viewings right through to signing the lease.
Haythum was responsive, easy to reach, and always followed up quickly. He took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and matched us with a place that ticked every box. He made moving in together stress-free and even fun, which we didn't expect from house-hunting!
If you're renting through Foxtons, ask for Haythum — you won't find a more professional, friendly, and genuinely helpful agent.
