We are family of four

We are family of four, they allocated seats separately and put two seats on the exit where kids are not allowed to sit. So two kids age 5 and 7 flying solo seated because they have allocated the exit seats so they had to relocate. They follow the rule no kids to sit by the exit, then they allocate those seats and make kids age 7 and 5 sit by themselves while parents on the other side. What can I say…

Even one star is too much for these…

Even one star is too much for these thieves.

If I had the choice, I wouldn't even step foot on one theor planes not alone fly with this awful misery of an airline.
They overcharged me for carry-on hand luggage that was already paid for within the ticket via online booking.

Even though the cabin luggage came in at 6Kg. Check-in staff insisted that I had to pay £18 and when I checked my bank statement, they had withdrawn £22.

Upon realising what had happened, I naturally complained to their 'Guest Relations' who denied my request for a refund and refused to provide the evidence requested of them, which was that my ticket did not include a carry-on cabin luggage allowance whilst booking.

If that wasn't enough, at Izmir ADM airport, a private security checks a person and their carry on luggage for a third time. Even though passengers have gone through customs and passport checks which both carry out the exact same procedure including emptying and searching through carry-on luggage going through x-ray and a metal detector, followed by a quick body pat-down.

However this crap airline decides to release a private security firm on to it's passnegers siitting in the airlines' departure lounge at the assigned gate.
They even touched my genitals whilst body searching me.
They obviously haven't been able to cut off the minerals just yet!
In-flight staff are even more miserable. I've seen doors looking more happy then their faces.

IMPORTANT: 24-HOUR FREE CANCELLATION, BUT YOU SHOULD CANCEL ONLINE THROUGH “MANAGE MY BOOKING” – I CONTACTED PEGASUS STRAIGHT AFTER BOOKING AND STILL PAID €181 CANCELLAION FEE

Extremely disappointing customer service. I will never book with Pegasus again.

I contacted Pegasus straight after making my booking because I wanted to cancel and simply needed to understand the cancellation procedure and applicable fee.

What followed was two days of going around in circles with their customer service system. I repeatedly received essentially the same responses and was never connected with a live representative. I even clearly confirmed that I wanted to start the cancellation/refund process, subject to my final confirmation.

Yet the cancellation process was never initiated.

By the time Pegasus finally provided the information I had been asking for, I was told that I would now have to pay a €181 cancellation penalty because the 24-hour free cancellation period had expired.

So, let me understand this correctly: I contacted Pegasus straight after making my booking because I wanted to cancel, but their customer service process took so long that I was then penalised for missing the cancellation deadline.

That is extremely frustrating and, in my opinion, completely unacceptable.

Even more importantly, cancellation can apparently only be completed online through “Manage My Booking.” If you need assistance or clarification, the customer service system does not actually help you complete the cancellation — and by the time you finally get the information you need, the 24-hour period may have expired.

The telephone support is another major problem. The customer service numbers shown online and in Pegasus emails either do not work properly or do not connect you to someone who can actually help.

Trying to contact Pegasus was like trying to contact someone from outer space — you send messages, receive automated or repetitive responses, and somehow never reach an actual person who can resolve the problem.

A customer who contacts an airline straight after booking to cancel should receive clear and timely assistance — not be sent around in circles until the cancellation deadline expires.

Pegasus has lost me as a customer. I will never book with this airline again and, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Pegasus to anyone.

Absolutely terrible experience with…

Absolutely terrible experience with Pegasus Airlines — no customer support when things go wrong
If everything goes smoothly, perhaps Pegasus is fine. But when something goes wrong, you quickly discover how little customer support is actually available.
During our flight PC1235 from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen to Venice on 30/08/2026, a cabin crew member personally removed another passenger’s suitcase from the overhead compartment. Our suitcase fell. We subsequently discovered that our laptop had been seriously damaged!!
What made the situation even worse was the handling of the incident. We were told that the crew member would report it, but apparently no report was submitted. We were simply left to deal with everything ourselves after landing.
We contacted Pegasus regarding the matter and were told to use their Help Center. The problem? The Help Center on their website does not work properly, making it virtually impossible to submit or manage a complaint.
There is also an apparent lack of proper airport customer service. When something goes wrong, you are essentially left on your own.
This is the biggest problem with Pegasus: when everything works, everything is fine. But when something goes wrong, there is seemingly no one there to help.
A damaged suitcase, damaged property, an incident that was supposedly going to be reported but wasn't, an unusable Help Center, and virtually no accessible customer support.
For me, customer service is not about what happens when everything goes perfectly. It is about how a company treats passengers when something goes wrong. Pegasus failed badly on that point.
Think twice before booking if you expect even a basic level of customer support when problems occur.

They changed the flight to the next day and then asked for money to change back to the original day

I bought my flight with them with stopover for the first time and after some days they changed the second flight's departure (the one after the stopover), so they sent me an email telling me that the flight was broken and I had to contact them. I did it, all fine.

I bought my girlfriend a round trip ticket with them. The first flight had the same issue than mine. She contacted them and all good; flight changed.

Finally, the last flight to return (a Sunday) was cancelled! 3 out of 3 flights were modified or cancelled, unbelievable. The problem: this time there was no other flights that same day, so she had to ask for a flight the next day. After some days I decided to check some flight prices and turns out I found they re-enabled the flights the day it was cancelled (Sunday), but when my girlfriend asked them to change the flight to that day, guess what, they refused to do it for free because we changed the flight from Sunday (it was cancelled, it was not even a change!) to the next day, Monday! If we wanted to get the flight on Sunday again, we would have to pay the difference, which at the time was more than a hundred dollars. Unbelievable! Unacceptable! The worst experience with an airline so far!

Stay away from this crap

Stay away from this crap, sh*t airlines. Bought tickets checked in and cause it’s fully booked they put a family of 4 into 4 different areas. Bear in mind my 2 lads have hidden disabilities and they wanted them to sit next to strangers by them selves. Put that aside your an airlines you sell goods customers buy your goods but they don’t have the right amount of change to give to customers. But if someone was to give you 20p less you will say no can’t do it

Racist airlines, and unprofessional behaviour

The most Racist airlines i have everseen my flight fot delayed for 8 hours and i missed my connection flight after that we ended up staying in SAW airport for 21h and they refused to provide us with hotel because they dont have a cnotract with a hotel inside the transit area even they refused to give us access for there lounge what a shameful airlines. The cabin craw are far from professional non of them even said sorry for what happend the staff in the airport started yelling on everyone that it is not there fault what happend, what was funny is that the problem was with the landing gear which the pilot explicitly said it in the plane so it is an airlines fault. Dont you ever book with them

Loss of my baggage

The experience was so bad with everything with this airline. From change of my flight, painfully slow queue at airport, loss of baggage and very unhelpful customer service and confusing system, the time wasted on this airline far exceeds the savings from their cheap ticket.

WORST airline experience Ive had

For the love of god, do not book a flight with Pegasus.

They are clearly scammers and I have wasted countless hours trying to obtain a refund, for a flight they cancelled last minute. We were left stranded in Istanbul, had to book an expensive flight with an expensive airline the next day. Pegasus policy claims they will pay for accomodation and food, when they cancel flights, as well as refund the flight, but this is bullshit! They found loopholes around it, and I have not gotten one penny back. Their chatbot (sometimes with real humans) is the worst thing Ive used - twice it/they promised to send the refund within a few days, but after not recieving it, i called and emailed, finally got answers, where it said that they require a verbal confirmation to process the refund. The only number that works on is a turkish number!!! Which costs a lot to call if you are outside Turkey. Btw, the times Ive called noone has answered on that number.

Everyone working there says contradicting things about how to proceed. Its now been 5 months, and Ive given up.

Pegasus is a slimy company and clearly have told their employees to try to avoid paying out refunds.

I booked assisted travel ahead of time…

I booked assisted travel ahead of time for my recent flight. When I arrived at the check in desks all staff ignored me and I had no where to go. First, they told me to weigh case myself before checking in despite previously being told otherwise. I protested that I'm supposed to have a wheelchair and now they are making me lift my 10kg case. I then qued up as the machine told me to. I started to feel dizzy by the time I got to the check in desk but the assistant was reluctant to get me a medic. I went to sit down and drink water, no one came to help. I then returned to check in to be told to go to another desk for assisted travel. After a long wait I recieved an electric wheelchair to my departure gate that the assistant rode like a motorbike. The most inhumane experience of my life.

Racist staff. Their employee, Gamza, in Antalya airport, decided to check my luggage and ONLY mine to weigh it before boarding. The only guy who doesn’t look “German” in a flight heading to Germany. I kept asking her “why are you only checking my luggage? Is it because my first name is Mohamed?” She answered by threatening me to off board me from the flight and insisting I must pay. Even her colleagues were stunned by her behavior. Never again flying on Pegasus and probably never going to Turkey again either.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only was the service terrible, the staff were incredibly unhelpful and difficult. When calling for a refund, it took hours of contact through AI chats and even then I had to repeat myself several times over. When trying to contact by telephone, I would wait in a queue and then receive the automated message “the person on the other end has hung up.” Stay well away from this company.

Extremely disappointing customer…

Extremely disappointing customer service. My brand-new luggage was damaged during my journey, and despite over 20 emails explaining the situation and asking for a reasonable resolution, Pegasus has simply ignored my points and repeatedly sent the same copy-and-paste response offering €30.
They ask for “cooperation” while refusing to properly respond to their customer. Very poor handling of a straightforward baggage claim.

My personal experience with Pegasus…

My personal experience with Pegasus Airlines was extremely disappointing from beginning to end. It was not just about delays or baggage. We experienced delays on two different segments, without proper notification, a missed connection, and baggage that did not arrive with us and remained missing for seven days. What was supposed to be an enjoyable family trip turned into a complete nightmare, with additional hotel, meal and other unexpected expenses.

However, the worst part of my experience was actually what came afterward: dealing with Pegasus Customer Service and the Claims Department. I submitted claims, receipts and supporting documents and asked clear, specific questions. Instead of addressing what I was actually asking, I repeatedly received what appeared to be standard, ready-made responses — generic replies, declines, or requests for documents I had already submitted. At times, I was even told documents had not been received despite having already sent them. Based on my experience, there seemed to be very poor coordination, follow-up and ownership of the case.

I travel frequently and understand that delays, missed connections and baggage problems can happen with any airline. The real test is what an airline does when things go wrong. Unfortunately, my personal experience with Pegasus — particularly their customer service and claims handling — was the worst I have experienced with an airline. They did not just turn my family trip into a nightmare; the exhausting process of trying to resolve the problems afterward prolonged that nightmare. Based on this experience, I would not choose Pegasus Airlines again.

Pegasus Serivce?

I have been flying all over the world for 30 years. Never dealt with such rude cabin crew as I did on my recent flight to Frankfurt. They definitely need a lot more training. This is sad because I tend to support Sabancı companies.... Disappointing, to say the least...

⭐ 1/5

Our family of four had flight PC621 from Hurghada to Istanbul cancelled on 1 March 2026 due to what Pegasus described as “security reasons”.

The biggest problem was not only the cancellation. We received no practical assistance at Hurghada Airport. No alternative flight, hotel, meals or transportation were arranged for us.

We therefore had to arrange new flights and accommodation ourselves in order to get home.

Pegasus now repeatedly claims that alternative flights were available and that we “chose to cancel our ticket instead of accepting” an alternative flight.

We have repeatedly asked Pegasus to provide documentation showing:
• which alternative flight was offered;
• when and how it was offered;
• who offered it to us; and
• proof that we declined it.

They have still not provided any such documentation.

Instead, Pegasus continues to refer to “extraordinary circumstances” and refuses both compensation and reimbursement of our necessary expenses.

I fully understand that safety must come first and that extraordinary circumstances may affect compensation. But that does not explain why a family with two children was left without practical assistance, nor does it prove that an alternative flight was actually offered to us.

After months of correspondence, Pegasus has now stated that there is “no further action” they can take.

I find this extremely disappointing and will now take the matter further through the relevant authorities and, if necessary, legal channels.

I am posting this review because I believe passengers should know how Pegasus handled our situation when our flight was cancelled.
