New car on finance

This is my second time to use Finance Ireland, and I found them very helpful and they were quick to sort me out with my new car.

All good so far

All good so far. But you only really find out about finance companies when the the fan and excrement meet.
Let’s hope that doesn’t happen.

Not a good lending agency to deal with

Not a good lending agency to deal with

Impossible to get reasons why a green loan was refused.
When asked what the reasons were for refusal and the see if I could give them more information in order to review it.

I was told that it was an 'inhouse policy' and that information wasn't open to the public.

FINANCE IRELAND - AVOID.

This is one of those occasions where if it were possible to award zero stars, I would.

Without doubt, this is the worst bank/lending company I have ever experienced. On the basis of my experience, I would urge avoidance of FINANCE IRELAND.

Applied for green energy loan. Advised by their online eligibility checker that I would qualify and was invited to proceed to apply. Spent considerable time gathering requested documentation & loaded onto their application portal.

Several days would pass, with no feedback.

I happened to log-in to the portal and found out that my application had been denied.

When I called I was told that this information was correct .... "sorry, and no I can't see/tell you why ... thank you, Goodbye!!"

They didn't even have the decency to contact me to advise the outcome, I had to chase them.

I have since secured my loan with another provider, who also offered something which FINANCE IRELAND couldn't, its called courtesy and professionalism.

My advice: AVOID FINANCE IRELAND - don't waste your time like I wasted mine. Mickey-Mouse outfit.
