Disgraceful and greedy customer service – Honest mistake penalized

I am a tourist who regularly parked at Hotel LEGOLAND. I completely acted in good faith and paid 200 DKK for my parking session. Unfortunately, I made a simple, honest one-letter typing mistake on the app, entering a "W" instead of a "V" in the license plate.
When we found the fee, we immediately submitted an appeal to EuroPark, providing clear digital proof of the receipt. The area code matched perfectly, the time slot was fully covered, and the payment was successfully processed. It was completely obvious that the parking was paid for.
EuroPark rejected our appeal with zero flexibility. To make it worse, they arrogantly replied that if we didn't know the language we should have asked for help, and that by parking there we accepted their terms and conditions. This is absurd: we translated the language perfectly fine, it was just a simple, human typing error on a keyboard, and we proved our payment immediately!
They preferred to pocket double money rather than acknowledge common sense and a trivial typo. We paid the fee only to avoid complications with our rental car company, but their behavior is an absolute shame. They use rigid clauses just to speculate on tourists. Unfair and totally greedy company. Avoid them.

Scammers of the highest order

I am a 65 year old who paid online (after huge difficulty via the Go Ringo app) & then got billed £100 for not paying. I appealed & even offered to pay the difference as I paid for a car park that the RINGO APP offered as the wrong option but the same named car park. There is no justice & when it is clear to all that I tried to pay £7 for a car park (paying them £4.50 on the day) the whole process is a scam.

Classic parking scammers

Classic parking scammers, I will not even spend time on describing what happened. The ratings you got on Trust Pilot and Google show that everybody knows who you are. If there was 0 rating, I would have chosen that one.

Thieves

Thieves. You get an unjustified fee, you appeal, you hear nothing for 4 months and then a collection agency sends you a bill of 2000 kr. Impossible to reach them of course. You’re thieves, I will make sure I will never ever park in a Europark lot again.

Paid properly, still got fined

Paid properly. I even checked on the spot with a parking attendant to make sure I’d done it correctly. And then five minutes later I still received a fine—probably from the very same person. This is clearly a money-making scheme and has nothing to do with running a decent business

Careless toward legitimate customer concerns and a refusal to correct clear errors.

The organization’s conduct has been consistently unprofessional, careless, and deeply concerning. Their practices demonstrate a lack of accountability and a disregard for customers.

Case 1 (2022 – Garage Parking, Masnedøgade 22, 2100 Copenhagen):
In 2022, I paid a monthly fee for garage parking near my workplace. The arrangement required a new parking ID card to be issued every three months. EasyPark failed to send the required card, despite the parking fees being fully paid. We checked all mailboxes and contacted the company multiple times regarding the missing card. Nevertheless, at the start of a new month, I received a parking fine solely because I did not display a card that EasyPark itself failed to provide. After submitting a complaint and waiting seven months for a response, I was informed that the fine still had to be paid and that the matter was “not their problem,” despite the fault clearly lying with them.

Case 2 (November 2025 – Islands Brygge 81B, 2300 Copenhagen):
On 9th November 2025, we arrived at a restaurant at approximately 17:10 and set the parking disc accordingly. The location allows one hour of parking. We left the restaurant around 18:05, well within the permitted time, and found a parking ticket already issued—likely within one to two minutes of us returning to the car. There are witnesses at the restaurant who can confirm the timing. I contacted the company to clarify the situation, but no meaningful review or correction was made. The matter was dismissed without proper consideration.

These experiences reflect a pattern of indifference toward legitimate customer concerns and a refusal to correct clear errors.

I have to give NO STAR.

I have to give NO STAR but option is not there. Parking signs misleading even if we see EasyPark symbol and park it as well , you get parking ticket.

Reconsider parking in this parking lots or we should be a lawyer to park in this area as there is lot of information to read and then park.

Would never recommend using this…

Would never recommend using this parking facility managed by Europark A/S (solution by APCOA PARKING Danmark A/S). You are always at risk of receiving a fine. There is no notice stating that you must use the Danish version of the parking app. For example, the Norwegian APCOA FLOW app allows me to start a parking session, yet I was fined from the very first minute of parking on behalf of the Danish APCOA . Additionally, you cannot download the Danish app if your account is linked to another country. That's because their "state-of-the-art payment solutions" are country-specific!

Using small print to rob people

Using small print to rob people. Disgusting company using people for profit. Really hope the government would take some action against thieves like this. There should be consequences for robing people.

Beware – subscription cancelled without notice and they overcharge you

I signed up for a monthly parking subscription with EuroPark/APCOA Flow and updated my bank account details. Shortly after, my monthly plan was cancelled without prior notification — and they started charging me daily rates instead. So far I have been billed 1,278 DKK even though the monthly fee should be 860 DKK.

What’s worse: I see now that their system identifies users only by email, not by license-plate or customer ID, which means a simple change of payment method triggers cancellation. I have never had issues with my new bank account elsewhere — yet here they treat it as grounds to cancel.

I asked for a new subscription link, an explanation and a refund of the excess charges — but got only vague replies and no solution. This feels like a deliberate abuse of the subscription system. I will be reporting this to the relevant consumer protection authorities if they don’t fix it immediately.

In my view, EuroPark/APCOA Flow operates more like a money-making scheme than a legitimate parking service: they cancel valid subscriptions arbitrarily and automatically penalize customers with excessive daily charges. I do not recommend using their service.

Disgusting customer treatment

Got a fine for ever so slightly missing the space, which was very poorly marked and hard to see on the dimly lit parking lot. Hardly any other cars around on the lot. 1000kr. That's how they treat paying customers. Absolute scumbags, i hope they go bankrupt!

Unfair Fine Despite Verified Parking Duration

I parked at EuroPark in Copenhagen, and my license plate was automatically registered via camera in the Apcoa app. My entry and exit times are clearly documented. Unfortunately, my ParkOne device battery had died, and despite being parked in an EL spot for less than 4 hours, I was charged 995 DKK. This feels unfair and misleading. The system should verify actual parking duration before issuing fines, especially when the vehicle is registered and tracked. Even after submitting a claim, they refused to cancel the charge. Disappointing experience.

Avoid Europark Lots at All Cost

Europark operates on manipulation and a lack of customer goodwill. I paid for parking in their lot, but because their system is archaic and requires lots of manual entry, I mistyped one of the details of my rental car's registration (literally one digit in a series of required entries). They promptly ticketed me the equivalent of $150 dollars. I submitted a request to dismiss, showing them my paid receipt, which covered parking during the period they ticketed me. They refused and said I deserved the fine because of the entry mistake. Then I couldn't initially pay the fine from America because they asked for a direct bank transfer (which my bank would not allow internationally). When I was finally able to pay via credit card they added another $20 to the fee for my troubles. Hands down, one of my worst customer relations experiences.

I had a very poor and stressful…

I had a very poor and stressful experience with this company.
Their phone communication was extremely unprofessional — the staff could hardly speak English, and their behavior created unnecessary stress.
They also sent me incorrect payment invoices, and when I asked for clarification, no one provided any explanation or apology.
The email responses were very short and did not address my concerns properly.

Furthermore, they closed my case before giving any explanation, leaving me confused about the situation. I have a strong concern that they might take advantage of this situation to charge me again, as they have done before.

Overall, this has been one of the worst and most stressful service experiences I have ever had.
