I don’t understand how such a large…
I don’t understand how such a large American company can operate like this. This was my first and last purchase from DKNY. My order arrived with missing items, and I never received a refund. The whole experience was unprofessional and extremely disappointing. I expected much better from a well-known American brand. I will never shop here again and cannot recommend this company.
The worst online site to shop
If I could rate you 0, I would! I made a purchase for 10 items worth USD 1,000, and after a month of waiting, I only received 2 items. I contacted DKNY, and took them 2weeks to revert and finally confirm that 1 of the package was lost and that I would be refunded. Additionally to the USD 1000 paid, I was also charged local fees + VAT in my country, as I had exceeded my allowance (because as per DKNY notification sent, all 10 bags were due to arrive together).
For the refund, they excluded the whole Shipping fee paid for the 10 items, instead of calculating for only the 2 items received. How is it fair? That is daylight robbery!!! And I am not recommending anyone to purchase directly from DKNY!! They're the worst ever!
Poor customer service!
If you buy something from this brand
If you buy something from this brand, you won't receive it even 1 month after you buy it. I recommend not to buy anything from dkny if you are in Europe. I send email to follow up my order after 35 days and they told me they don't have any guarantee on their delivery. If you order a bag or shoes from mars, it will arrive much earlier than dkny. Be careful about it. If you cannot handle a simple post, at least dont sell your product to europe.
Terrible customer support
Terrible customer support. No replies to inquiries! The shipping handling and overall experience is poor.
I will never order here again
I will never order here again. My old address mistakenly updated with my order. I caught it within 30 minutes of when you can make a change but there was NO option online to do this. I had to wait the next day to call and no one could help update the address even though the product had not shipped out yet. I called twice no help. Never again
Clothing is not sized accurately !
I ordered a faux leather pair of pants, size 4, and although this item is final sale, this is NOT a size 4 but a size 8. I just spoke with customer service, and they would not make an exception for an exchange of a smaller size. I just lost $50 on these pants, so guess I'll try to sell them! Never again !
LITERALLY STOLEN MY MONEY
I threatened them with a bad review but I can see I shouldn’t have bothered! The bag I ordered isnt the quality I expected, stitching is bad and this sure as hell isnt leather. It cos me £5 for delivery, £90 for the bag and they want £42 returns delivery to send it back which is very unreasonable. I used to love this brand but it’s gone very downhill UPDATE not only am I out £45 to return the bag, £90 for the bag and no bag but the promise of a full refund has turned into now claiming they refunded me $51.20 on 13/4/2026 when they didn’t even have the bag back in their warehouse. No refund has reached my account and it’s now the 18/05. These people are CROOKS and have the worst customer service ever, avoid like the plague
I ordered from DKNY in the UK without…
I ordered from DKNY in the UK without it being clear the item would be shipped from the US, which caused delays.
I returned the item at my own expense (international shipping), and tracking confirms it was delivered on 24 March. I am still waiting for any update or refund.
Overall, disappointing experience due to lack of transparency and slow communication.
Arms on puffer vest jackets not properly located…
So...I have a puffer jacket with vest that is two years old. I just love it. We'll made and fits nice. Am an XL size. I've ordered several puffer to replace it...they do not fit correctly.anymore..the arms are sewn too high...too close to the shoulder so that the chest area is all scrunched up when you leave the outer part unzipped and strictly zip the vest only
Vero Bad experience
At the bottom of your website it says that it’s possible to get a 15% discount by subscribing to your newsletter. I subscribed because I wanted to buy a bag, and I did receive your email — full of advertising — but there was absolutely no sign of the discount code.
To me, this seems like an unfair and unprofessional practice aimed at attracting more subscribers without actually providing any discount in the end.
I bought a perfume from Heathrow…
I bought a perfume from Heathrow airport on the 11/12/25 - straight away the dispenser wouldn’t dispense the perfume- I contacted Heathrow as I couldn’t take it back there - they told me to contact DKNY who would replace. I contacted them on the 31/12/25. They said they were looking into this, I have chased every 2 weeks since then. They told me they are still looking into it, they then wrote to me saying I was outside the 90 day window to get a replacement!! They haven’t realised that this is because of their utter incompetence, I’ve asked several times to escalate my complaint, they ignore me every single time .
DKNY are an ABSOLUTE SCAM OF A COMPANY AND THIER CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NONE EXISTENT - what an absolute embarrassment and waste of my time and money.
Buy anything from them at your risk
Sent a coat back 16 weeks ago
Sent a coat back 16 weeks ago. 7/11/25 Not only did I have the privilege of paying £30 to send back. I still haven't had a refund. £180 down the drain. Might as well took the money out the back and set it on fire! Avoid like the plague.
UPDATE. After 5 months and emailing a different email. I finally got my refund. 5 months though is a joke!
Another lost customer
I placed an order for a couple purses. I also wanted them here quicker so I paid an additional $20 for 2 day shipping. One arrived Wednesday was supposed to be Tuesday no big deal. Here is where they lost yet another customer. This second bag is still stuck on label created and has not been turned over! I will not be purchasing anything else from them. If that purse doesn’t ship out TODAY my next call will be my bank. They haven’t responded to my email and has not provided information on why my item that I paid extra for has not shipped!!!
If you’re ordering from the UK
If you’re ordering from the UK, please don’t waste your time and money. I wish I would have read these reviews first!
Shocking customer service, very long delivery times, parcel arrived opened (expensive coat) and they want £40 to send it back.
Very disappointing.
Slow to dispatch, missing item, unresponsive to dispute
I would give zero stars if I could and I’m sorry I didn’t read everyone’s reviews before I made my purchase.
First of all, the time to ship my order was much slower than expected. These days, customers expect to see their item being shipped on the same or next day after their order. Delays are usually by the courier not starting off the bat at dispatch. It took about a week before my order was on its way.
I was excited for my delivery as it made its way to me, albeit a week later than I expected.
Imagine my surprise to find that of the three items I ordered, one of them had never been sent. Two items were given the same tracking number but only one of those two was shipped, and the box did not say “1 of 2” boxes were part of that delivery.
An email to the company has been forwarded to management but no reply, so I don’t know if they will replace the missing item. It’s been a month since my initial order.
This isn’t good enough for any ecommerce experience, let alone an iconic brand like DKNY.
Worst Online Shopping Experience
Ordered a parka on 11/18/2025 and waited 3 weeks to receive it. Even though I ordered one size smaller, it was still way too big. Had to pay return shipping myself. The company confirmed they received my return on 12/15/2025. As of 01/28/2026, I still have no refund. I’ve chatted and called with zero resolution. Slow shipping, paid returns, and months-long refund delays. Completely unacceptable.
Delays with a side of arrogance
Placed an order on the 14th of January and paid an extra $20 to receive expedited shipping (3-5 business days). On day 5, I checked the order status and it remains as "unfulfilled" so I started a chat to check on the status. The representative was very dismissive and basically told me to just keep waiting and that I'll receive an email when the product ships. This was bought for a 25th of January birthday which is specifically why I opted for expedited shipping (my fault for ordering late so I'll pay the price). But they don't seem to care that they've taken the customer's money without fulfilling the service in the slightest. And then when called out about it, they simply refuse to take any accountability and continue to act like them giving you the big middle finger is some gift from the heavens. The arrogance and holier-than-thou attitude is so grating that this aspect alone leaves a terrible taste in my mouth.
Upon being connected with a supervisor named Rebecca (I've seen this name come up a few times in the comments below...), she said it was the warehouse's fault and that AFTER the product ships, they'll refund me my $20 expedited shipping charge. That's only AFTER the item ships even though it already missed the delivery window and the status of the product was unknown. They will gladly take your money and then refuse to provide anything in return without any intention of actually doing anything to resolve the issues they've created. Funny thing was, however, after mentioning to her all of the negative reviews on this website, she immediately became extremely defensive.
"You don't know what we did to resolve this for the customer!" Well, Rebecca - a lot of customers indicate DKNY refused to take action so I'm pretty sure that tells me exactly what DKNY did.
"Only people with negative experiences leave reviews!" Not true, Rebecca - I've seen plenty with more positive reviews.
"We have millions of customers and it was the holidays so of course orders will be delays!" Oddly enough, Rebecca, a lot of the complaints are more about the way DKNY responds to these issues instead of the actual issue itself.
Most people understand life happens but it's how the company responds that really makes or breaks the relationship. And DKNY has made it clear that they are more worried about their image than actually doing what's right by the customer. They can easily process a refund, order a replacement, overnight shipments, etc. but they would rather place the customer in purgatory. It's appalling how DKNY believes that they are somehow doing us, as customers, a favor by taking the time to even respond to us - as though that should be sufficient for their delays and poor attitudes. Take your business elsewhere - it'll be well worth it!
Avoid this brand
Avoid this brand. They use "welcome discounts" as bait to harvest your data, but the codes don't work and they refuse to honor them. After weeks of being ignored, a "supervisor" named Rebecca promised a 20% discount and a scheduled callback to resolve the issue. She never called, never answered basic questions about UK import duties, and has gone completely silent.
It is clear Donna Karan has zero respect for UK consumers. I have withdrawn my interest and am reporting their UK registered entity to Trading Standards for misleading commercial practices. A premium brand with "basement" level integrity. Save your money and shop elsewhere.
I bought during Black Friday a jacket
I bought during Black Friday a jacket. It was in stock the buying day and the days after that day but never send. 32 days later the order was cancelled by DKNY without a reason. I will never buy there again.
