Clare animals welfare:
Terrible experience. We followed the process, a video call screening and we were approved the following day for our new border collie. We immediately made emotional commitments, booked time off work to travel from Waterford to Clare, bought a new insulated home to accommodate both our new dog and our 11 year old border collie, Charlie. When we rang on the day to meet and collect the new dog, Sammy, we learned by text message that the dog was re-homed without letting us know. I now have to tell the heart breaking news to my daughter, I will get over the financial and holiday commitments but this organization is a farce.
I hope all dogs find homes, but this organizational process is broken and unprofessional.
Avoid this shelter unless you go to adopt a dog same day.

Fantastic charity that rescues and rehomes hundreds of abandoned animals every year. The volunteers work extremely hard to help animals in need.

a friend was offering a very good home to a dog, adoption papers were sent,collection was organised, bed, leads,harness,food etc was all bought by her and at the last minute refused her the dog, stating she was not suited to the dog. My comment was removed from their Facebook page which leads me to believe that there is something very suspicious here. Now from talking to others, this seems to be an ongoing problem with this rescue. My advice is to avoid and do not donate to them

Avoid this organisation like the Plague,do not donate any money to them. Suspect.......
