had a really positive experience learning to drive with Ferhat. He was always thorough and took the time to make sure I properly understood what I was doing, using practical examples that made things much easier to remember. What I appreciated most was how he helped build my confidence as a learner driver, especially when I was unsure of myself.
I would definitely recommend Ferhat to anyone learning to drive.

My daughters experience with BSM was extremely disappointing and caused a huge amount of unnecessary stress, particularly in the run-up to her driving test.

The instructor regularly changed lessons at very short notice, arrived hours late on several occasions, and sometimes did not turn up at all. The situation became much worse immediately before my test, when my remaining lessons and the use of the instructor's car for my test were cancelled.

This left me with very little time to find an alternative. My family had to arrange and pay hundreds of pounds to hire a suitable car through Arnold Clark, and I then had to practise and prepare for my test in a completely unfamiliar vehicle. My dad also had to take a week away from work to help me, costing him more than £1,000 in lost wages.

What concerns me most is what I have discovered since. I understand that the instructor was suspended and has subsequently been banned from teaching. I have also spoken to other pupils and discovered that the explanations we were given for cancellations and other issues were not consistent.

This raises serious questions for me about BSM's oversight of instructors operating under its name. I would like BSM to confirm whether my instructor was suspended at any point whilst I was still receiving lessons from him. If he was, I would like to understand why I was not informed and how he was able to continue teaching me.

I also want to know why the repeated lateness, missed lessons, last-minute cancellations and disruption were apparently not identified or addressed sooner.

Learning to drive and taking a driving test is already expensive and stressful. I booked through BSM because I believed I was choosing an established national driving school and would therefore have some reassurance and support if something went wrong. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

I have asked BSM to respond to me in writing and explain what happened, particularly in relation to the instructor's status during the period in which I was his pupil.

My instructor Elias, WHAT A GUY. Top tier knowledge and great direction. Always patient with me, especially when I would decide I know better.
I honestly couldn't rate Elias higly enough, he did a great job teaching me and I will always be grateful.

I booked a 2-hour driving lesson, but due to an urgent professional commitment, I was unable to attend. I informed my driving instructor well in advance about the situation. Despite this, my payment has not been refunded, and they are now simply not responding to my messages.

Bloody scamsters. Please be aware of this fraudsters before enrolling with this driving school.

Couldn’t recommend Sameer enough! I’ve just passed my driving test thanks to him. He’s a really patient, friendly and encouraging instructor who made every lesson enjoyable and always explained things clearly. He gave me great advice throughout and built my confidence massively, especially in the run-up to my test. 100% recommend Sameer to anyone learning to drive! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Didnt use as an instructor but one instructor was awful and would never even recommend them as a person, they had no student in the car and reversed up to my car unrolled his window and decided to give unsolicited advice when they were in the wrong to justify their actions. he came flying round a corner and i was overtaking cars parked on the estate, yes it was his right of way but since i was already over 50% passed the cars he shouldve held back, had he known if he wasnt speeding round a corner, and the audacity of him to reverse up and complain was rude and unnecessary. would not recommend to any young drivers looking to begin driving as incredibly rude and unsettling.

Working with Travis at BSM has been a great experience.
He is a super adaptable instructor who listens patiently and suggests different techniques that play specifically to your strengths as an individual. Which was a great help to picking up driving quickly as it felt issues that I had were quickly solved .
As well as this, he’s also just a really friendly and genuine guy! Backed up by his communication outside of lessons , suggesting resources and things to look out for.

My driving instructor Daniel Bradley was amazing, super patient and detailed in every lesson. Massive thank you to him!

I had George as my driving instructor, and he was amazing! We covered everything I needed to know for the test quite quickly but it wasn’t rushed, but he didn’t just teach me how to pass the test, he taught me how to actually drive. We also covered all the manoeuvres thoroughly, and I was confident with everything going into my test. The cost of lessons is good as well, so I would definitely recommend BSM.

I had a fantastic driving experience with Sameer Rashid. He was very patient, offered constructive criticism and always had only positive things to say. I had Sameer as my instructor from start to end, and it’s honestly a testament to his teaching that I was able to pass first time.

For anyone who wants someone who is nice, will go the extra mile by providing you with revision materials and advice, very flexible and offers competitive rates, Sameer is the one to go to. I have nothing but good things to say about my whole driving experience!!!

I passed first time following lessons with Mario Trapasso in Manchester. Mario is patient, practical and understanding and his style of teaching is absolutely exceptional, especially if you're nervous as I was.

He has the skill of making you feel like you can overcome obstacles even when you doubt yourself. He will go over everything with you, identifying weaknesses and working through them. He was ALWAYS prompt and polite, explaining everything thoroughly and always asking if I had any questions when we pulled over which was super helpful.

I've had other instructors before and they were not a patch on him. I will forever be grateful to Mario - he genuinely cares about you and wants you to be the best you can be on the road. I came away from each lesson happy, eager and a little bit better than before.

He was also a pleasure to chat to and a really lovely person. His calm demeanour and pleasantness are the cherry on top of the cake. Thank you Mario for everything. The best in the business.

Time spent learning how to drive with Juliana was truly memorable. I’m so happy that I finally passed, especially after a previous unsuccessful experience with another driving school.

Juliana was always so positive, patient and encouraging — exactly what I needed to build my confidence and believe in my abilities.

If you’re in SW London, I would highly recommend learning with her! 🚗✨

A fantastic driving instructor

I honestly can’t recommend Chris Davies enough. He was absolutely brilliant with my son.

After a bad experience with another driving instructor it was such a relief to find Chris.

From the very beginning, Chris was patient, calm and understanding. He knew how to help my son stay calm and collected, and most importantly, he gave him the confidence to learn and become a safe driver.

It may have taken my son a little longer to learn ,but Chris never rushed him or made him feel like he couldn’t do it. He took the time to teach him properly, including reversing, parking and, most importantly, road safety and how to handle different situations on the road.

Thanks to Chris, my son passed his test and, more importantly, he has the confidence and knowledge to be a safe driver.

We are so grateful we found you, Chris. Thank you for believing in him, being so patient and teaching him properly. You made such a difference. ❤️🚗

I would highly recommend Chris Davies (Malvern) to anyone, especially parents looking for an instructor who is patient, understanding and willing to adapt to their learner’s needs.

BSM and AA driving Instructor - Mohamed Mujahid (Mo) is an amazing instructor.
He goes above and beyond in everything he does.
I passed with Mo a year ago in September after 3 months of lessons ( 2 hours a week) and my 17 year old daughter passed to after 5 months of lessons (2 hours a week with a few extra added towards her test date.)
My daughters dad took her out once before she started learning with Mo and said never again 😂
Mo literally taught the in-teachable 😂

Julianna is genuinely kind patient and nurturing instructor. She always made me feel like we were in this together.

Nothing was ever too much. Even when I would ask random driving questions and bring a notebook and pen to lessons.....even my nerves- instead Julianna quickly adapted to my learning style structuring lesson to my needs so I got the most out of our time together and I could progress with confidence.

I will miss our time together. Her support has been invaluable to me and because of her I am now a very proud licenced driver. Whoo hoo!

Juliana was a great instructor who got me test ready super quickly and made sure that I knew everything I needed to know to be a safe driver and to pass my test! I would 100% recommend her for anyone who wants to learn how to drive. I had fun snd learnt how to drive together so my progress felt like it was going quick and she always made sure I was confident!

I used Twinkie at BSM and she was genuinely lovely to drive with. She was relaxed and knowledgeable and after about 10 lessons I passed my test with her. I can definitely recommend her - and the BSM platform is relatively easy to use.
