Unacceptable. 3 RMA Failures, Dead Flagship $1,000+ Boards, and Incompetent Support
I am beyond furious. If you are considering buying an ASUS "Extreme" tier motherboard, DON'T. The premium price tag gets you zero reliability and the absolute worst customer service experience of your life.
This is my THIRD RMA in a row on their top-tier flagship motherboards:
1. X670E Extreme: Bought brand new. Failed completely a few months later.
2. First Replacement: They sent a refurbished board that barely made it a year before dying on me, forcing me into yet another RMA.
3. X870E Extreme: After fighting through the process again, they sent a "brand new" X870E Extreme replacement board. Not only was it missing critical accessories like the M.2 NVMe rubber pads, but the board was DEAD ON ARRIVAL. Press the power button, the fans spin for one second, and the system dies.
If sending dead-on-arrival flagship hardware wasn't insulting enough, their customer support team is an absolute nightmare:
3 Days Ago: I requested an Advanced Replacement so I wouldn't be down a PC for weeks again. They promised it was set up. No confirmation email was ever sent.
Yesterday: I called support to see what was going on. The agent ACCIDENTALLY CANCELED my Advanced Replacement RMA. He claimed he sent an email to put a hold on my card for the replacement—once again, NO EMAIL WAS SENT.
Later Yesterday: I called back out of sheer frustration. A different agent claimed the case was still ongoing, gave me another new case number, and promised it was "escalated to the higher team."
TODAY: Still ZERO emails, zero updates, zero accountability.
I have spent thousands of dollars on their highest-end components, wasted DAYS troubleshooting dead hardware, and now I'm stuck in a endless loop of support agents canceling my tickets and making empty promises.
ASUS support is a complete joke. I will never buy another ASUS product again.
Awful customer service

It has been more than six months, and the issue still remains unresolved. I have repeatedly requested the contact details of your company's senior management as well as the official company website, but I have not received the required information. Kindly provide the higher management contact details and the official website as soon as possible. verry bad experience please don't buy Asus, service and product both are useless

Laptop charger failed in under 3 months…
Laptop charger failed in under 3 months and trying to get a replacement from their official parts supplier is still not done after 4 months! Do not buy Asus.
Son ordered rtx 3060, broken GTX 650 came Broken!
My son ordered a RTX 3060 and a, what is said on the text, a broken GTX 650! my son playd roblox and the game was what he said 60 FPS, and he said that it is very bad and laggy, SO i request A FIX for this WRONG PACKAGIN!
Terrible after sales
Bought my son a laptop for his Uni work and after about 18 months it died. We packaged it up and sent it back to them and after a month they produced a report. It needed practically everything and a whopping £750 quote. This is ridiculous for a 18 month old laptop to be repaired. One it should be a two year warranty like the rest of Europe and two we can buy a brand new one for slightly more. Ok can you return this to us please. Yes of course but it will cost you £55 for the return. Why are they hand delivering it. I can get a washing machine delivered for less.
Asus sucks
they think they can factory reset everything without asking me.
I've had my latest Asus Vivobook for…
I've had my latest Asus Vivobook for less than 2 years, sent off for repair and they want over £400 to 'fix' it for a new main board and handling fee! To return my item I have to pay £48.05. I will not be purchasing any further items from this company!
Urgent warning: Don't waste the money.
Every ASUS laptop I've had has been the worst. They are built horrifically bad and they consistently have defects which makes an ASUS laptop the lowest quality laptop despite the operating system being decent enough for regular use. But the build of these laptops is just disgusting. The other Vivobook had an issue with the hinges breaking and the current model of Vivobook i'm using has a low quality screen. the resolution is fine, but its weak and i find images burnt into it lightly when they haven't even been displayed for long. And it has a backlight leak issue, mind you, I've had this about a month, so it should be working new, because it is new. For the price of this brand, it should be higher quality and a lot more durable. Because if I pay £700 for a laptop, I do NOT expect it to be worn out after 1 month. I view this brand extremely negatively now and next time I shop for a laptop I will definitely go to another brand and I hope anyone who reads this decides against buying what is essentially scrap material.

I am extremely disappointed with ASUS…
I am extremely disappointed with ASUS and the way they handle their cashback promotions.
On June 16, I submitted my cashback claim exactly as instructed, including all required documentation and the completed claim form. Since then, I have received no update, no confirmation, and no cashback payment.
I spent more than €1,340 on ASUS products, so I expected the company to honor its promotion and at the very least communicate with its customers. Instead, I have been completely ignored.
A cashback promotion is a promise to customers. If ASUS cannot process claims within a reasonable timeframe or keep customers informed, they should not advertise these promotions in the first place.
This experience has seriously damaged my trust in ASUS. I expect ASUS to process my cashback claim immediately or provide a clear explanation for the delay. Until then, I cannot recommend participating in any ASUS cashback promotion.
Terrible RMA Process
Terrible RMA Process, proof of purchase was given, it was 3 month old NUC, stopped working, entering into week 2 with no response from their customer service besides 1-2 days wait, been told that now 4 different times. Will not be purchasing from them ever again after this run around from their customer service.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Defective ASUS TUF A17 (FA707RW) - Case Reference Required
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with my ASUS TUF A17 (FA707RW) laptop, which I purchased in good faith. Ever since the day of purchase, I have experienced recurring technical issues, starting with black screen errors on the very first day. Since then, the device has suffered from persistent "Blue Screen of Death" (BSOD) errors, rendering it unreliable and unusable for my needs.
I have consulted with a local technician who indicated that the motherboard is likely faulty, with estimated repair costs exceeding £1,000. Furthermore, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of authorized service infrastructure for ASUS in the United Kingdom. I have been informed that I must cover the shipping costs to the Czech Republic myself—which amounts to £150—simply to have the device inspected.
It is unacceptable that a global brand like ASUS offers such poor after-sales support and expects the customer to bear the financial burden for a device that has been defective since its arrival.
Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. My device has failed to meet these standards from the start.
I am requesting a definitive resolution, such as a full refund or a free-of-charge repair/replacement, including the coverage of all logistics costs. I have kept all purchase documentation and evidence of the issues.
I look forward to your prompt response and a concrete plan to resolve this matter within the next 5 business days.
Sincerely,

The ASUS 14 is a good computer with decent speed, earning a solid 7/10 overall. However, the customer service was terrible, and losing $1000 because the wrong model was in box which ASUS wouldnt fix.it left me pretty unhappy, despite the quality of the device.
Public Statement
Public Statement
It is unacceptable to sell an ASUS VivoBook laptop with a keyboard and touchpad that do not function properly. These are essential components of the device, and when they fail, users are unable to work efficiently or complete even basic tasks.
A laptop is purchased to be a reliable tool for work, study, and everyday use. When fundamental hardware problems occur and customers cannot obtain timely technical support or an effective solution, the consequences can be serious, leading to lost productivity, frustration, and unnecessary inconvenience.
Manufacturers should ensure that their products meet reasonable quality standards and provide prompt, effective customer support when defects arise. Customers deserve reliable products and responsive after-sales service.
Horrible product and customer service
Horrible product and horrible customer service.
Bought a ROG Ally z extreme from them. Within the warranty window it stopped charging. Sent it back to them to get it fixed. The same problem happened again shortly after the warranty expired. They wouldn’t fix it again, asking me to pay the price I paid to buy the damn thing to get it fixed. Took it to a repair company and it turns out it is a common issue for the ROG Ally for the device to stop charging and ASUS do not release the parts needed for repair.
TLDR: They sell defective products only they can fix and charge you an extortionate amount to get it fixed.
Appalling product (Asus Zenbook
Appalling product (Asus Zenbook - failed weeks after I purchased it), appalling customer service (slow, rude and unhelpful) appalling company (nothing positive to say about them).
They have had my laptop for over 3 weeks for repair. Apparently it's fixed and shipped back to me. Only problem is the tracking number given by the shows it delivered to Glasgow and I am in Devon.
Possibly the worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with and down £1,000 for a laptop that didn't work and now I don't have and Asus don't seem able to help.
Avoid at all costs.
