I love au pair! This app really helps others have fun and learning experiences in different places.

The website offers lots of applicants for au pair jobs. It is great that the filter allows us to let only people from certain countries or with certain skills send messages because otherwise the amount of messages can be overwhelming. As applicants have to upload certain personal documents, a level of security and integrity is there. Moreover, every applicant should upload contact details or reviews of former jobs. So that the au pair family can check the credibility of the applicant. Overall, it is a good website.

I can choose the au pair myself, directly understand their situation, and then communicate with them. The website is very convenient for me to contact them, and it is well-established.

The site works as promising. I love that the payment is per month and not a subscription. The site is easy to navigate, and as a host, you get lots of messages from interested au pairs. It's also easy to see which fit your criteria.
I do wish the message sorting was easier. It's hard to find messages from people you have already messaged but not received a reply to. And when your inbox has over 100 messages, it's hard to find specifics. There are some sorting possibilities, but I'm missing one for "written to" or "messaged" or similar :)
We found our perfect match after less than a week. We will be back next time we need one.

It was easy to setup a profile, and the profiles are very information heavy and thus it becomes easy to find a good match. It's a bit pricy, but it's nice that the pay isn't a prescription but a one-time buy. We found our new au pair within a week, and she was even the first candidate we interviewed. Very pleased with the website and what it offers.

We have been using AuPair.com for seven year in a row. Every single year. Why? haven't found better. Really. It's user friendly, easy (they now have easy on their title!) and an almost indefinite data bank to select THE one you need. We have moved to another country and we are going agazin for aupair.com. The process of hiring our Au Pair was straight forward through AuPair.com. We used the excellent search feature to filter out our requirements and very quickly narrowed it down to a few candidates. Having spoken to the first one over messages and then FaceTime, we agreed to hire her. She was perfect from start to finish and a great first experience of having an Au Pair so much so we are now looking again.

Why do you need a premium membership to be able to contact potential employers? How am I supposed to find work if I don't have money to pay for membership?

The advert from the family was totally misleading. It promised the aupair the use of a car which was never provided. The location was a 60 minute walk from the local village so aupair was stranded in a remote location. Promised own bedroom which was an annex to the children's room, promised own bathroom which was actually the family bathroom. Aupair had to provide unpaid babysitting at night. Notice period was not paid by the host fsmily. A complaint to aupair.com was dealt with purely from the family perspective. The family refused to correct the ad online.

Hint to aupairs ... have a notebook with 2 pages per week. On the left page have the host family write down the days/hours requested to be worked, and any changes. On the right side the aupair should record start and end times each day.

I am deeply disappointed by your website's criteria and procedures for defining accounts as agency accounts!
As a long-standing user with multiple successful placements, all my emails send have been entirely reasonable and compliant – simply a family seeking an au pair. Yet my private user account has been suspended as an agency account. Despite repeated requests their staff to review my email content, no action has been taken. I urge you to establish efficient mechanisms and standards to distinguish between private and agency accounts without treating everyone as an agency.

A good selection of candidates and easy to communicate with them

I signed up for a 3 month term. Leads take some time to role in but there have been some pretty promising ones.
