Annoying telesales
They're expensive, which is almost excusable because supposedly they offer some of the best coverage, but the telesales is what really shoots themselves in the foot, I must of told them 15 times I dont want home internet yet I still constantly got the same call, they try and sell you more and more products and packages, in the end it just made me cancel. Dont harass your own clients.. simple.
Just a complete lack of customer…
Just a complete lack of customer service and reasonable behaviour which has been replaced with greed and penny pinching.
I had to go with Orange as, before I had my NIE, I could only sign up for internet with Orange rather than the better value competitors. It was very expensive for what it was.
When we moved a year and a half later, I tried to cancel my contract, but the delay on doing this (waiting two weeks to be given permission to return the items) and the subsequent lack of information regarding the cancellation left me with no choice but to cancel my direct debit. As I had cancelled my service, I did not see this as a problem.
I have since received a call requesting money for time way after I initially tried to cancel the service as well as for a month that they have charged me for not making the problem.
When I spoke to someone on the phone and paid the bill that went beyond the date I cancelled my contract, they insisted that I filled the cancellation paperwork out some two weeks after I actually had done and then hung up when I insisted I hadn't.
Tried to complain since, but they are sending me all over the place and I will just never use Orange again and would advise everyone to avoid.
Menacing aggressive calls on my new SIM card do buy from orange.
I spend 4 months in Spain and I needed a Spanish telephone number for deliveries in Spain.
I purchased a sim payas you go 10 with a view to top it up when needed to kept it going.
The day after I purchased it I received about 6 calls from Barcelona asking for a different person so I blocked them all. But they still kept calling. Now getting them from Asturias which orange informs me the number could be linked to a scam. I called the English line who said as I was using a sim I had to go to the local store. These calls are upsetting, frequent and annoying.
Orange policy is to not simply change the sim but to charge me 20 Euros as if I was a new person.
The amount of calls have been excessive so please avoid this situation and do not buy a sim from orange.
the worst experience ever in spain
the worst experience ever in spain. In the uk with EE they are great in spain horrible.
You pay the monthly tariff of 10 euros which gets you 60gb and then the same day they tell you your card has 0.02 cents on it and you can’t use your data.
And then the customer service people straight up lie to you and tell you that you have consumed over 80gb!!!!
Will never use again
Orange fiber optic cable contract
I took an Orange fiber optic cable contract for a year.
After 3,5 months, the connection was cut off. I spent 7 hours with the customer service to get a technician to come to the location, next day. After spending 2-3 hours investigating the cable connection he told me to cancel Orange and left without repair. The next technician came 2 days later (weekend without connection), spent 2 hours complaining about his colleague and told me to cancel Orange and offered to install a satellite connection. I spent countless hours with customer service, went to the Orange office, which offered no customer service - is only a sales location and tried to sell another annual contract. I received a message from Orange customer service (I have it in writing) and from the phone customer rep that I should install 20 cable connections from the community, where my flat is, to the street and contact the town hall. Absurd. On top of that, Orange is insisting that I pay the 70e fee for contract termination despite the fact tha Orange terminated the service, fiber optic connection.
Orange refused to modify the contract (e.g. mobile data connection) now that Orange is no longer providing the service according to their contract. They gave me 10GB mobile data. I do not need it, I have mobile data provider. I spent that data primarily trying to find out if Orange was going to restore services. After a week, I blocked Orange from withdrawing payments from my account and declined the last month payment. I am willing to pay for 16 days of services but not for a month. They are harassing me, and blocked me for keeping my mobile phone number, although I had it prior to the fiber optic contract.
Orange España
Orange España — Debt collection harassment and CVV fraud attempt
STAY AWAY FROM THAT COMPANY!!!!!!!!
After closing my Orange contract and paying all required fees, I was contacted by their debt collection agency Marktel claiming I owe €49.99. When I called Orange's official number (1470), they confirmed I have NO outstanding debt.
Despite this, Marktel continued to harass me. During a phone call from 693 117 931, an agent (who refused to identify herself) asked for my full card number, expiry date, AND CVV code. When I refused to give the CVV for security reasons, she raised her voice and claimed it was "the only payment method available" — which is false.
Additionally, payment links sent by email redirect to an external domain (33bot.io) — completely unrelated to Orange or Marktel — which I consider fraudulent.
I have filed formal complaints with:
AEPD (Spanish Data Protection Agency)
Oficina de Atención al Usuario de Telecomunicaciones
Asking for CVV over the phone is illegal under PCI DSS standards and EU payment regulations. Orange should be ashamed of these practices.
I think I have never seen such bad…
I think I have never seen such bad service, and the system that they have in place is the worst I have ever seen, taking account that I pay for 3 wifi residences in Europe and Spain is back in the 1990s.
The banking system is horrible, and they charge you random fees because it's not a Spanish bank account. I wonder what SEPA means for the Spanish Orange.
And don't even try to speak in English; lingual education is lacking.
Internet doesn’t work frequently
It was convenient buying an e-sim card remotely, but I finally switched to another operator. First of all, they would charge me additional services without asking . The cheapest tariff was €10, and then they would take around two or three euros more for activating my monthly tariff before I paid for it.
Also, I never had connection outside of the city, so the quality is poor.
Now I have Internet from them, and it has broken twice this month. I work at home, and I have not been able to work normally for the last two days. I had to use my mobile data which is limited to just 15 GB, and I spent half of it during these two days.
It takes two or three days for their technician to come to fix their Internet. I don’t recommend working with them.
Worst provider expensive not providing…
Worst provider expensive not providing service promised 41€ charged this month for often no internet - 1 local phone call have to pay for TV we don’t have or want staff very rude and offering reduced prices when I cancelled, with them after 6 years never offered anything previously. Avoid at all costs.
Orange Spain is an absolute disgrace…
Orange Spain is an absolute disgrace when it comes to customer service. Not only are staff extremely rude and dismissive, they are also incredibly incompetent. Avoid like the plague!
Worst network with worst customer…
Worst network with worst customer service
I was with Orange from 2020 when I had…
I was with Orange from 2020 when I had a fibre optic cable installed in my flat in Malaga. Every single dealing with them was fraught with difficulty. I did a two minute phone from the USA to the UK in 2022 (by accident as I had the wrong SIM switched on ) and they charged me 82 Euros for use outside EU. When I had my phone stolen in 2023 they made it as difficult as possible to get a new SIM card even though I had been violently assaulted . Every single thing was just too much trouble, nothing was easy. I don't know how they manage to stay in business as every Spanish person I spoke to had issues with them as well. When I finally terminated (in Feb 2026) with them and settled my bill I asked if I would have anything else to pay and they said no. 1 month later I now have a demand for more money. It is quite unbelievable
Lack of transparency and terrible support
Beware of how Orange Spain operates, lack of transparency and support, that is. I have a contract for phone and wifi, 60GB of mobile data included. Guess what, using the internet at home with wifi on somehow still consumed all my 60GB of mobile data (and yes, I can guarantee I was connected to the wifi the entire time). The best part? They automatically activate the option for extra megabytes with additional charges per 500MB, no questions asked, and so I was paying extra without being aware or giving consent. I tried to enter in contact with customer service, but not surprisingly, I got stuck on an irritating loop whole on the phone, didn't get the chance to be on the phone with someone that could explain this to me. Excellent example of how to instill distrust in your new clients, and quick way to loose them.
Very good service
Very good service, Ordered a new IPhone was very easy and came before the allotted time given. Staff very helpful.
Never have I ever had a worse customer…
Never have I ever had a worse customer service experience. The whole company is so incompetent that pretty much nobody in there knows how their business operates and they breached their own contract without an apology. NEVER go to Orange.
I used Orange back in Belgium for many…
I used Orange back in Belgium for many years and they were great, before coming to Spain. The Spanish division is absolutely greedy.
They sell your informations to 3rd party and I've been spammed like crazy. You know the worst ? I'm switching operator because I'm tired of their inexistant support service, and they want ro charge me penalities. Penalities on top of a shady services ?
This company is rotten. I will not touch it again ever.
Awful and terrible service
Awful and terrible service. I paid 10 euros for my monthly plan to receive gigabytes and minutes for the next four weeks, but instead my money was consumed by regular internet charges within 20 minutes. The support team did absolutely nothing to help. My gigabytes and minutes were never provided. This company is useless and completely not customer oriented. You should shut it down.
They have taken away my mobile number
Scam! They have taken away my mobile number that I’ve had for 15 years and deactivated my SIM, effectively stealing all my remaining credit, without any prior notice, because apparently if you don’t top up your pay-as-you-go card every three months they cancel it. Now I have to update all the companies and banks in Spain that had my number because of Orange’s greed.
This is the worst company I have ever…
This is the worst company I have ever made an agreement with
Do NOT trust Orange Travel España
Orange Travel España repeatedly cancels active SIM cards that have been used for many years, even though they are regularly topped up.
What makes this unacceptable is that both the invoice and Orange’s own system clearly state the SIM remains active for 6 months after recharge.
Customer service, however, claims 3 months.
We have documented proof that the SIM was recharged less than 2 months before it was canceled.

When contacting support, the response is always:
“This is what I see in the system, sorry, I cannot help.”
No escalation, no ownership, no solution.
The first time this happened, Orange support sent us to a physical store, claiming it could be fixed. Shortly after, a phone number we had relied on for years was permanently closed without warning.
This is not an isolated incident. It is a systemic failure.
I do not recommend Orange at all — neither prepaid nor contract.
I personally had an Orange contract and left after one year due to similar issues. Based on repeated real experience, Orange Travel España is unreliable, misleading, and careless with customers’ phone numbers.
If you value continuity, transparency, or business reliability, avoid Orange.
