one of the worst experiences I have had on the internet

all I wanted was the etymology of the word play but it said I needed to sign in, and to do that I needed an account. so I filled in all the details needed to make an account and made my password with the minimum 10 character length, upper case, lower case, symbol and number making sure there was no trailing or preceding whitespace. I then filled in the password again, finished the form and clicked submit before it came up with an error saying my password was insufficient, despite the fact I fulfilled all the criteria. I tried again and again with different passwords but every attempt was blocked. it has made me so genuinely furious that I cannot put it into words. I'm taking my business to a dictionary that won't ragebait me when I'm just coming off a panic attack. oxford snobs. 1 star would avoid at all costs.
