What great after sales service.
I bought a pair of Highlander carbon fibre skye walking poles from them earlier this year but the bottom section of one snapped during my Tour de Mont Blanc earlier this month. They contacted Highlander on my behalf and within a few days a replacement section had been couriered to me completely free of charge as a gesture of goodwill.
Great service and I highly recommend this company.

We purchased a new large Outwell tent from Outdoor action with a £50 reduction compared to other sites/shops. We initially had a few teething issues with the tent that Andy in customer care services immediately responded to our emails and helped us with. We would not hesitate in using this company again for future purchases.

AVOID. Bait and switch pricing, beware! They advertise tents at cheaper prices on Google Shopping and Idealo, which when you click through to the site are magically priced higher. I corresponded with them and sent time stamped screenshots, but they denied it despite the evidence. Happy to present the evidence to Trustpilot if they try to remove this review. Charlatans.

EDIT FOLLOWING SHOP REPLY: Further to my review above, the shop has shown further untrustworthy behaviour and should be avoided. There are many other retailers out there, so why choose this one. Firstly, they tried their best to get this review removed. On their instruction Trustpilot removed it and asked for evidence, which I supplied. Trustpilot review the evidence and agreed with my experience and reinstated the review. Given that Outdoor Action are actually the customer of Trustpilot this is fairly damning. Secondly, they continue to advertise the lower price on Idealo to tempt customers to their site when they suddenly up the price. I’ve just taken another time stamped screenshot of this should they complain to Trustpilot again. RECOMMENDATION: Just skip this store, fellow consumers. If they behave in this way at the first point of customer contact, I’m glad to not have had to experience whatever the rest of the customer journey might be.

There were significant problems with delivery to my mother's address. Unfortunately, she lives up a small lane and DPD refused to deliver there on multiple occasions. Outdoor Action was at no fault and did their very best to try to coordinate the delivery. Even after repeated failures and return to sender, Outdoor Action continued to find a way to get me my products. Thank you for your perseverance!

Fantastic service in the hiking boot department today. The man was polite, attentive to my needs and clearly very knowledgeable in his field. I came away with boots, beeswax and hiking socks that I am delighted with.Thank you so much.

Super helpful customer service , very friendly staff. I received my parcel, which fit and i am super happy as i couldn't find it on any other website.

I have purchased from outdoor action only once so far. It became apparent there was a fault with the Vango tent I bought from them after a couple of uses however OA responded immediately and I a new part within 24h.

I ordered a tent which was dispatched very quickly. Unfortunately the package never arrived due to the fault of the courier. One quick phone call to customer services at Outdoor Action and a replacement package was sent which I have now received. Despite the disappointment in the delay in receiving my tent I am more than happy to recommend this company because of their excellent customer service.

Great experience. First time purchase via website and will definitely use this store again. Ordered some shoes, perfect- as described, excellent price, fast delivery. Kept informed or order status and delivery progress throughout.

Went in today and spoke with Ian, who in my opinion, is the perfect representative of the company. He asked what I wanted (portable freezer and cooking station) and explained the pros and cons of each one that they had on display. I didn’t feel rushed into making a decision. Ian is a credit to the company and I’ll definitely be back.

Always used outdoor action for all my outdoor clothing and footwear until now purchased pair of boots they leaked.
No refund or replacement they put leaking boot in bucket of water fo 15 mins and said it was dry. your sock must have been wet or water got in top. I'm 15 stone and after a days wear in light rain around town they leaked.
This firm are all about the money and not the customer .

Member of your staff told me boot goes in a bucket of water with a bottle of pop to weight it down I also asked would it be OK to return when they are wet inside
Answer to that was no they do not leak .
It has put me of shopping at independent stores big firms is the way for our family

Leger helmet. Website is misleading. Clicking on black produces grey. Clicking on silver produces matt black. Bought this helmet for my grandson for Christmas. His disappointment at wrong colour was painful. Immediately emailed Outdoor Action Customer Services. Two follow up emails sent. No reply to all three. Their Customer Service is appalling.

Fantastic experience with Outdoor Action. Treated myself to a new down sleeping bag, and Outdoor Action had the one I wanted on offer at the best price I could find, by quite some way. Ordering was easy, and item was despatched very quickly. It arrived well packaged within a couple of days. Lovely sleeping bag. Very pleased with my purchase, and wouldn't hesitate to buy again from this company.

I had an issue with a tent (no fault of Outdoor Action's), so I contacted Outdoor Action to discuss it.

Andy in the Returns Department was friendly, helpful, and prompt in his replies, discussing the matter and keeping me updated on the progress as Outdoor Action spoke with the tent manufacturer. Andy was able to organise a replacement tent for me in a matter of days, and the process for sending back my old tent was well explained and very easy.

This is some of, if not the best, customer service experience I have had with a company, and I thought it deserved a review so that others can read this and have the confidence of dealing with Outdoor Action.

When I paced an order for a Wild Country Tent and a Roben sleeping bag very late on a Saturday evening, I wasn’t expecting delivery for at least 5 - 6 working days. I was absolutely thrilled when it arrived the following Tuesday. I was kept updated throughout the dispatch and delivery. Haven’t used my equipment yet but will definitely shop at Outdoor Action LTD again in the future.

Literally the best customer service I have ever experienced. Had an air tube pop on a tent I purchased and they are sending a replacement. They dealt with Outwell and had it sorted in days. WOuld highly recommend!

I ordered a folding fire pit, best price i could find online. It arrived sooner then expected. Good communication and excellent service. i would use again.
