We are sorry to read that you have had a bad experience with us.
However, we would like to clarify the course of events. You approved troubleshooting on the bike, but later chose to pick up the bike in the middle of the process, before the workshop had the opportunity to complete the work.
As part of the troubleshooting, it was necessary to remove certain parts in order to access the motor and investigate the issue properly. The bike came in with a fault and was collected while it was still being inspected and therefore with parts removed.
We understand that it can be frustrating when a bike is not working, but it is not possible for us to complete troubleshooting or assemble the bike correctly if it is collected in the middle of the process.

The most unprofessional service I have…
The most unprofessional service I have ever experienced! This place is a complete robbery and I do not recommend to anyone going there with a cargo bike. I went there for a regular service, and they tried to come up with tons of other issues to collect money from me. I politely rejected all the extra fixes, but no, they returned the bike in horrible condition instead. I was forced to return once again the bike, showing that no service has happened. They accepted it again, asking for more money. I finally agreed just, so I get it back , but I guess, this was too optimistic.On the day I was supposed to receive my bike, they got back to me with pictures of another bike, identifying more issues and asking for 5000dkk more. Shame on you!
Hope nobody experiences the same as me!
You deserve to be locked and blocked from such a service!

That said, we would like to clarify that we never carry out any additional work without the customer's approval. Our process is always to inspect the bike, inform the customer of any issues we find, provide a quote, and let the customer decide what they would like repaired.
We are particularly concerned by your statement that you received photos of another bike. If this has happened, we would very much like to investigate it immediately, as this is not something we take lightly.

Impressed. Much better than your typical bike mechanic.
I had high expectations, but when my bike was delivered today it was even better than I had imagined. It looks like it just came out of the factory: every single little crack has been cleaned. And the repairs are top notch as well: this bike is now running smooth as butter and is such a joy to ride. I am so happy with the result!
The very friendly, professional, and skilled people at RenCykel clearly care about your bike and about doing a good job. The mechanic called me and calmly explained everything wrong he noticed with the bike and asked me one-by-one which repairs I wanted done and which not; I thought that was very transparent.
Other bike mechanics in the past have: dropped my bike, installed tires of the wrong dimension, left tons of oil smudges, oiled my chain and sprocket until they were black and disgusting. But with RenCykel I had the feeling that they really cared about treating my bike well.
I haven't done much comparing but my gut feeling is that they are not even that more expensive than other shops, and the results probably last longer.
I will definitely be going back.

Same-Day Bike Repair with Outstanding Communication 🚲✨
I got a puncture and went straight to their shop, and the experience couldn’t have been better. The team quickly inspected my bike and called me to clearly explain what the issue was, how they planned to fix it, and the cost involved. After I approved the estimate, they got right to work.
Everything was repaired the very same day, and they even texted me to let me know the bike was ready for pickup. Fast, professional, and excellent communication throughout. Truly amazing service, I highly recommend them!

Best to Avoid !!!!
Only Pick up and delivery worked fine. Once it is handover to the mechanic, scam begins. I got a flat on my rear tire and booked their service. I had been called next day and told to replace both tires due to their low quality and the offer was twice the price of bike itself. So I turned down and requested to fix only the flat which costs me around 280 DKK. I called them again asking justification for the price and they said that they will replace the tube with new one. Got my bike delivered next day and got a flat next morning even without driving the cycle. Basically they havent fix anything. Wasn't expected this cheap way to make money.

The suggestion to replace the tires was meant purely as a recommendation because the current ones are low quality; you’re never obligated to accept extras. When something like this happens, especially a flat right after delivery, please reach out to us so we can inspect and make it right.

Exceptionally friendly customer service
I went for replacement of the tube as my tire was flat but it turned out that I was only missing a valve. They replaced it for free and my bike was as new again. Perfect customer service and super helpful! Highly recommend!

Outstanding staff, exceptional service
The staff are simply amazing – patient, helpful, and attentive. We are regular customers of this shop thanks to their excellent service and transparent pricing.
They are highly effective at fixing things, whether urgent or not. It is very reassuring to have them nearby, and they consistently provide the right advice for our situation (whether upselling or downselling, as appropriate).
The booking system is also extremely useful, and the shop is always spotless. Nothing at all to complain about.
