The worst possible experience in my entire life
I waited 60 days for my release to get reviewed, they gave me a email saying that they will not accept any releases , without any reason or clear statement, waste of time
I recommend never to trust Routenote
I waited over 55 days for my release to be reviewed. After all that time, my account was permanently rejected with only a generic list of possible reasons and no specific explanation. My music was original, and I was never told exactly what the issue was. If the problem was something as simple as a song title or metadata, I wish that had been communicated so I could have corrected it instead of having my entire account rejected. Clearer communication would have been much more helpful.
Do you even have some sense? A person who waited 55 days for this, trusted Routenote, and you cancel it for no reason? I'm not the only one to experience this, if there was an option of rating, I would give this negative 5 stars.
Happy happy happy happy happy happy happy 😀
RouteNote has registered tracks into YouTube Content ID that I didn't even submit or authorize. Because of this, my own content is getting hit with wrongful claims. The worst part is their customer service—I raised a dispute and opened multiple support tickets, but they have been completely ignoring the issue for months. The total lack of communication and absolute disregard for independent artists' rights is completely unacceptable. Clean up your system and resolve this immediately.
Terrible company.
My routnote account was flagged for alleged artificial streams, it is only fear that a warning is sent first so subscribers can have a fair chance of doing an internal review to stop every form of promotion carried out by dubious companies but my earnings was held with a promise of an Investigation, this was in April 2025, today is July 2026 still no investigation was made, earnings still hanging and anytime I try to contact customer service it sends a bot message.
is 1yr not enough to carry out investigation and release my earnings???
#11121753 that's one of my ticket numbers
Service was not bad, got my realease approved fast, staff was nice, support didn't take long.

Waited over 40 days for my release to be reviewed. During that time, I contacted support several times and only received generic replies telling me to keep waiting.
After more than a month, my release was finally reviewed, but instead of receiving a clear explanation, it was rejected with a generic template listing several possible reasons without stating which one actually applied to my release.
Even worse, my entire account was blocked from submitting future releases, again without any specific explanation and with no possibility to appeal.
I understand that every distributor has the right to reject content. However, artists also deserve transparency, timely communication, and a clear explanation when such serious decisions are made.
My release was created with Suno Pro and Claude, meaning I hold commercial rights to distribute it. If that was the concern, it should have been communicated clearly instead of making me wait more than 40 days.
Unfortunately, this experience cost me valuable time. I have now moved to another distributor and cannot recommend RouteNote based on my experience.

Is this a joke or what? My music has been in the ”In review” section for over 60 days! I sent an e-mail and asked what was going on. No answer. I created a support ticket. No Answer. How can anyone use Routenote as their music distibutor? I have other music distributors for my other two artist. Distrokid where the songs are sent to the stores the same day as I release the songs (often within a few hours), then I have Ditto Music where it takes exactly 10 days for the songs (without any cost, otherwise it’s much faster). Then I decided to try Routenote for my third artist. Over 60 days (!) without anything happening! *LOL* What a joke! Then some people can say that there is a faster way at Routenote - to pay for the songs. Yes, but that costs 10 USD for each song. At Distrokid and Ditto Music you pay around 25 USD for a whole year with an unlimited number of songs.

Today, my releases have been waiting for 40 days. I uploaded one track on June 3, 2026, and the other eight tracks on June 5, 2026, for a total of 9 tracks. They are all still pending moderation with no status update.
A few days ago, I contacted your support team, and I was told that my releases had been in the review queue for only 22 and 24 business days, and that your team usually reviews releases within 31–34 business days.
However, today my releases have been on your platform for 38–40 calendar days, and they are still pending with no update at all.
If this situation continues, I will have no choice but to stop working with RouteNote. There are other free and reliable music distributors such as ONErpm, SwarVision, and many others. I chose RouteNote because I believed it was the best option, but unfortunately I was wrong.
If my music is not approved and delivered to streaming platforms by the end of this week, I will switch to another distributor immediately because I have no other choice.
Thank you.

APPOLOGIES FOR SPELLING ADHD AND DISLEXIA AT 40 IS A THING . honestly, theys guys are amazing, i cant rate them highly enough. i promis on my nepews life this not a paied promotion they have not asked me to say this. they are grate.
the only downside is iv paied for a top subscription and still when i add songs i get asked to pay,. im literaly going tomwrite a tiket now to try undertsnad it. THEY REPLY IN DEPTH AND WITHIN $ DAYS, very very good.
the only other thing that could do with work is the human conection. i feel this servise they provide is incredable bur lacking humanness.,
honestly i cant raite they guys hilghly enough. they are briliant and i ow them allot. just a few kicks for them to work out that i know they will. that human conection they DO NOT HAVE, and the paid monthy persciption thing (that you dont need but is so benificial) is confusing. has to be streamlined thats the biggest issue. and its a tiny issue compaird to what they have help me through ;) stay safe all when this company figures out the human side of it and the pay thing its elite. for now thay are just the best x

Overall, a good distributor. I've never had problems releasing music; so far, tracks haven't disappeared suddenly, and support does respond, although after a long time. Tracks get to all the biggest stores for free. The only downside is the long waiting time for song approval. I understand that with the current flood of AI songs on the market, quick reviews are difficult, but the RouteNote team could hire more people, at least for support, because this distributor has a lot of potential.
In short – if you want to release your music for free, I recommend RouteNote, but remember to plan your releases well in advance.

Great service for independent artists!
The distribution process is straightforward and easy to use. I've had no issues getting my music onto major platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. Highly recommended for anyone starting their musical journey.
I really appreciate the hard work the team puts into this platform in making music distribution accessible. While release times can sometimes be a bit long, I understand that the team is handling a heavy workload, so I truly value the effort they put in to help creators like me get our music out there.
Thank you for the support!

RouteNote is simply the best distribution platform in the world! As an independent artist, finding a team that truly cares about your music is very rare. Their system is fantastic, and the support team (especially Kyle) is incredibly helpful, kind, and fast. They are literally making dreams come true for independent artists like me by bringing our music to a global audience. I am proud to be a part of the RouteNote family. Highly recommended!

I got my Official Artist Channel of YouTube via RouteNote which was a great experience.

I cannot recommend RouteNote to anyone. My release was supposed to go live on a specific date, but three weeks after that deadline, it was still stuck in "in review" status with no progress at all.
Their chatbot is a complete joke – completely useless and unable to provide any real help. When I finally tried to reach customer support, they were painfully slow and made everything unnecessarily complicated.
If you value your time and your music, look elsewhere. This experience has been nothing but frustration from start to finish.
That 1-star rating is a gift to this company, they deserve zero.

RouteNote completely ruined the release date for my new single, which was locked in for Wednesday, 10th June 2026. Because of their sheer incompetence, the release date came and went with zero action on their part. When I reached out to fix the issue, they completely ignored my support tickets. When they finally bothered to reply via email, they didn’t even acknowledge my previous messages. Instead, they hit me with a generic demand to prove I had permission to use the featured artist on my track. This is completely absurd, considering I released a single featuring the exact same artist through RouteNote last year with absolutely no issues.I have now sent an urgent email containing explicit screenshot proof showing complete ownership of the song. The platform I use to collaborate with artists clearly states that the buyer automatically assumes all copyrights.RouteNote’s lack of communication, inconsistent rules, and total disregard for independent artists' schedules is unacceptable.
They do not communicate with you, and leave you in the lurch with drips and drabs if or when it ever suits them to respond to you.
THE IRONIC PART:
RouteNote took the time to leave response to this review here to make themselves look good and still have not responded to my e-mails leaving my song unreleased since 10th June 2026
This has gone too far and I will now be deleting my account this this lot, they have proven to me they are completely and totally incompetent on every level
Avoid this distributor if you actually care about your release timeline.

A very good music distribution company that has become a music partner for the music I have created that has been released on various music platforms.

The service is simple, free, and you're unlikely to be disappointed.
I'm happy to go through them!

Not acceptable. A real miss actually. Earlier I have distributed music with distributors you pay for and this time i decided to try Routenote - a free distributor. But unfortunately it was a real miss. I released my music 7 weeks ago, 35 workingdays (mon-fri), and still nothing has happend. And you can’t even delete your songs when you decide that you want to change distributor and choose one with an acceptable handling time. Not recommendable.
