I was involved in a local project that needed to be completed within a very short timeframe. I dealt with James throughout the entire process, and from start to finish, he did absolutely everything in his power to get us the materials we needed to ensure we met our deadline.

He went above and beyond, and we are forever grateful. I can honestly say that I have never experienced customer service of this calibre before, and I will most certainly be returning to McDaids in the future.

Incredible customer service! I had a question if my part is the same as the one on the web site. Sent picture via mail, immediately got feedback, support on the phone, justification that the part is ok, paid and in 15 min got confirmation from delivery company (external) that there is a package for me, got it next day, sent closure of the order, asked for feedback, ... Example how orders and customers to be treated as kings! Kudos!

As a plumber I use McDaid frequently and even tho I'm based in cork their delivery times are excellent and always a pleasure to deal with. Excellent company

I had already purchased all needed but decided to change the shower from a tray and screen to a pod and this was not a problem, to say its the best after sales/ customer service I have ever had is an understatement.

Had an unfortunate experience with sales woman Breegen. At the beginning I had ordered a bath through Mc daids. I was told it would take at the most 10 days to come into the store. I organised this time frame with my plumber who had squeezed us in as a favour as I’m 8.5 months pregnant and trying to get into our new build home before the baby arrives. Day 10 had rolled around and as I had no updates or calls from Breegen I decided to call to make sure the bath was in and give them the benefit of the doubt that they had forgot to contact me. To my horror I was told that ‘the company’ hadn’t put through the order. Had I waited to be contacted I would still be awaiting, With apologies Breegen said she would try her best to get something similar faster and would get back to me, I agreed to have the bath ordered again if this couldn’t be done and I awaited her phone call to confirm as my plumber was coming the following week to install. I did not receive any updates on order and did not receive the phone call to let me know what was going on. Given that I had been running around to try get something sorted for my plumber who would not reschedule until January I had no choice but to go ahead with another bath, I had been in and out of hospital during the same week which may have caused me to forget to let McDaids know that I ordered through another company, even though I was not made aware of any updates or orders made. I received a phone call a near 20+ days after I had put my initial order through to say the order is in the shop and I was treated with total disrespect when I had told Breegen unfortunately I had to get another bath, and apologised for forgetting to let them know. I explained my situation but it didn’t help. With her aggressive tone I felt quite threatened and I wasn’t going to post my review but I don’t want her to get away with treating a customer like this again. I would think that some customer service training needs to take place for said employee.

Great guys to deal with. Slight mishap with delivery but they made up for it. I will buy from them again.

McDaids were helpful and efficient. I was in the middle of a bathroom job and had contacted other suppliers but they never bothered getting back to me because my order was small. McDaids made me feel as important as a a huge customer. When I am doing a big job I will remember their standards of customer care!

I trawled my local hardwares and plumb shops for a Triton mixer shower. Ended up finding McDaids online. Well priced and fast delivery.
