It USED to be a very nice APP. When I asked everyone for Prayers from my Service Dog who was in surgery yesterday...200 people prayed, and 1 anal guy that stalked and harassed me on there reported my... See more

If it could be a negative
If it could be a negative, I would give it a -10. They are probably the worst platform for Neighborhood safety I’ve ever experienced. They do not allow neighbors to honestly post. They’re ongoing Discrimination over helpful posts is alarming. Nextdoor is not an app. I would put my private information on. They want your Social Security number. They want a lot of private information from you. They are not to be trusted. It is not an honorable system. Stick with somebody else not next-door stay far from them.
We’ve had an excellent experience with…
We’ve had an excellent experience with Q Pro Services and want to share our perspective. Quinton is very professional, respectable, personable, and clearly take pride in their work.
Q Pro completed three major projects in our home: a custom wall-to-wall oak desk with cabinets and shelving, a complete closet refurbishment, and updates to our entertainment center and colonial cove molding. Every project was completed with outstanding craftsmanship, attention to detail, cleanliness, and reliability.
Quinton consistently arrived when promised, kept the work area clean each day, and delivered high-quality results. Quality craftsmanship is worth the investment, and because their work is in demand, scheduling may require some patience.
We rate Q Pro Services 10 out of 10 and would confidently recommend them.

Wouldn't stop spamming my email
Wouldn't stop spamming my email no matter how much I flagged their emails.
"Someone wants to connect with you" over and over.
No thanks, guys. I'd rather not connect with complete strangers like that. Also, I don't even use Nextdoor!
Spammers.
INSANE CENSORSHIP LEVEL!!
Absolutely effing REDICULOUS the level of censorship on this platform. If you say literally ANYTHING that doesn't promote the leftwing ideology about ANY subject, even if you say it extremely nicely and respectfully, your comment or post gets banned for either "hate speech", "discrimination" or "public shaming". And then if you make a post just merely addressing the fact that you feel you were wrongly censored, that post gets deleted too and you get a warning to "not violate community guidelines in the future.
This app/website is like the most extreme Orwellian wet dream that would even make the most radical members of the CCP blush. Talk about thought police, WOW. And today I just got online and they deleted all my private messages going back forever, for no reason! Like holy crap!!
Not a neighborhood friendly platform
I have repeatedly sent the administration for Nextdoor messages to remove political and racist articles and rants. These forbidden posts are primarily listed by news media and other subscribers. This platform appears to be the place for subscribers to spurt their racist views and further separate our communities. Nextdoor appears to support these types of posting as they continue to allow them. This platform is not neighborhood friendly.
Like a non-stop HOA meeting
Mostly people with not much going on, lots of busybodies engaging in pointless complaints, arguments, chatter, etc and a lot of people asking for free stuff, money etc. And they're very quick to permanently kick people off the platform for minor violations and they don't really seem to bother with knowing what actually happens when conflict arises. No idea who is moderating but they obviously aren't paying them much. Hard to imagine ever wanting to invest in advertising on it.
Perma-banned for posting 'politics' on a news article
I was banned for posting a 'political comment' on a local news article. I'm not sure how one can have a conversation about local politics without arbitrarily breaking a new NextDoor rule involving politics writ large.
This is going to be a problem for the company if it wants to remain relevant. Either don't post local news stories, or don't allow comments at all on local news stories. Punishing users for actually engaging on the platform is an insanely stupid business move.
In short: arbitrary suspensions, ever-shifting terms regarding what is considered 'appropriate', haphazard enforcement, and poor management decisions are the reasons I would strongly advise others not to use the site.
This used to be a good service but now…
This used to be a good service but now and I’m not a business owner have blocked me from recommending business line ac and tree and plumbers who have done business with me and I have never had any issues with them. This service now is playing Hitler and blocking good people to force businesses to pay up for using this and it’s disparaging! Zero stars! Pathetic
They arbitrarily suspend accounts for invalid reasons
They arbitrarily suspend accounts. Mine has been suspended under the guise of "inaccurate name". My name on nextdoor is my LEGAL name which makes it sketchy because no one with me name out in the world. They ask for birth certificates, driver licenses and utility bills to prove it. Unsecured. I don't know why nextdoor thinks they are high and mighty and all good. There is a lot of BS that goes on Nextdoor. Loads of scammers. LOADS. And if someone points them out they can be the target of assault or other. When I saw people possibly being scammed by the same person I was scammed by I would send them a private message and warn them. Heinous platform.
They’re the worst for advertising for a…
They’re the worst for advertising for a small business. They took $300 from me and I got absolutely no leads for my small cleaning business. Stay away from them. They are scammers!
Racist App
Racist App. Bias! The whites can say whatever they want but as soon as a Latino says anything of any nature. The Racist mods will report you and ban you. It's a Racist white plat form.
I found that Nextdoor is an UNWELCOME Platform
I found that Nextdoor is VERY anti-business and will NOT let local businesses to offer services to help local people unless they PAY Nextdoor a ridiculous amount of money.
£750 per month is FAR TOO MUCH for small and micro businesses to even attempt to advertise.
I also agree with other viewers on here that Nextdoor is NOT a nice platform which is FULL of FAR LEFT ideological views and EXCESSIVE CENSORSHIP.
I think word of mouth, BNI possibly local gossip groups on Facebook may be a potential way of local businesses helping local people.
Moderators pushing political agenda
The application itself is fine. The main problem, at least here in Oregon, is that the moderators are pushing a biased political agenda.
If I could give zero stars that's what…
If I could give zero stars that's what this site would get, neighbors are asking for recommendations of business they need and nextdoor blocks everyone from giving recommendations to them, this platform is trash, no one is "allowed" to help their neighbors anymore, what is the purpose of this site, it should be removed. There is no benefit or value from this site.
⭐ 1-Star Review
⭐ 1-Star Review — Nextdoor
I am extremely disappointed with the way Nextdoor handles suspensions and moderation. My account was suspended after I simply gave my opinion in response to someone who asked a question. I was not rude, disrespectful, threatening, or harassing anyone.
What bothers me most is the inconsistency. I regularly see people cursing at others, arguing, harassing people, and making disrespectful comments. I also see posts involving people giving away or trying to sell pets, yet many of those posts remain up.
Meanwhile, I respectfully answer someone's question and end up suspended. How is that fair?
Nextdoor's own guidelines say that neighbors are allowed to state their viewpoints and disagree with others as long as they remain civil and respectful. That is exactly what I believe I did.
Whoever is responsible for reviewing and suspending accounts needs to do a much better job. The moderation system seems inconsistent and unfair. If Nextdoor is going to enforce rules, those rules should be enforced equally for everyone—not selectively.
Nextdoor needs better-trained reviewers, more consistent enforcement, and a fair appeals process. People should not have to worry about losing access to their account simply because they respectfully expressed an opinion.
This Used to be a good site.... not no more
This Used to be a good site. Now its over censored and a big money grab. They make you create a business account just to comment on posts and recommend other businesses. I highly suggest removing this app. I even got our business verified cause i was told to do so just to post and they still removed my post. Next door....I hope you fail.
Suspense for asking a procedural question.…
I am raising a question regarding community moderation. Recently, a post was made about a political topic with comments turned off. When I respectfully asked why a thread would be posted if replies were disabled, my account was unexpectedly flagged for 'harassment' and paused until the 17th.
I always follow Nextdoor guidelines, so being suspended for a simple procedural question feels like an unfair overreach. Neighbors should be able to ask respectful questions about how topics are handled without facing automatic penalties. If folks in need are asking for help the most dusqusting comments come through, and Sometimes with racist overtones. Those folks don't get punished. The moderators need training or Don't be a moderator! Notice the word moderator, NOT KING. get it together next door, and manage the egos you have as moderators.
I was suspended for two weeks for saying I had been suspended
I was suspended for two weeks for saying I had been suspended for four days. I was explaining my absence to people I promised to help with cat rescue. For the crime of explaining exactly what happened, they suspended me for two weeks. They said they forbid complaints against moderator actions. I appealed it, saying I wasn’t complaining..I was explaining why I was gone. I told them I needed to contact people who had asked for my help with cat colonies…they denied it. These people are heartless petty dictators. Now That is a complaint.
App NEXTDOOR BANNED ME FOR TALKING ABOUT GOD LOL
This website in Columbus ga. Is corrupt. They blocked / suspended my account do to my post about prayer and God. Con you believe it? Someone needs to sue this organization I could care unless. I don’t use it hardly ever. The moderators. Are politically charged!
This used to be a good site for…but not anymore
This used to be a good site for neighborhood communications of all kinds over the last year it has unfortunately degenerated into nothing more than an ad and marketing fiasco they are only interested in selling ads and driving traffic to their marketers the closest other website I can compare it to would be AARP and their deceptive practices there AARP is an insurance company masquerading as a senior health page. same can be said of next-door it is masquerading as a neighborhood communication tool but the only thing their interested in is communicating is there marketing
Just some info to the businesses that are advertising on next-door I will never use your services ever since next-door is not allowing negative or unhappy reviews of the businesses because they're paying for you know I cannot differentiate between a good business in a bad business so you're all bad business
Used to be a good properly moderated site that I did go to to get recommendations for local businesses but I no longer trust their acts as there is no community oversight or review allowed if you own a business that is advertising on next-door you need to let their management know that it is their policies that are going to hurt your business
