Bought a compete set of doors and windows. 4 weeks later front door won't lock. Zero response from munster joinery. They don't answer the phone or respond to their own web form. Apparently the entire company has gone on holiday for weeks! Leaving customers in the lurch.

Appalling quality of products

We got beautiful windows and doors from Munster Joinery a few years ago. This is now the third time we have requested a repair. Windows not opening/closing, not installed correctly (Not tied to the block correctly) and doors swelling to the point the hinge is warped.
It is the same situation as last time, we call them, they tell us someone is coming, rinse and repeat for MONTHS. When someone did call, he assessed what was wrong but did not have the parts on hand. Crickets since. This is not the fault of the young lad who came out to assess it, it is clearly Munster Joinery's management.
I believe we have rang 6 times on this occasion, told them that if there is a fire we cannot exit the door as it is held up with cardboard to keep it closed. We get fobbed off every single time. We are at the stage now of engaging with legal advice. We spent thousands of Euros on the doors and windows. We have paid the service call out charge and nothing is fixed. (Why do I need to pay this when the products are under warranty?) Avoid avoid avoid.

Happy customer

Munster installed a number of windows and doors for a new extension. Sid the rep was very responsive and helped get orders in and processed quickly. Service engineer came out promptly to for any issues. Products all seem good quality based on the first few months performance.

Full house refit in Kilkenny

We just had a full house refit of windows and doors through James Hickey in Kilkenny. He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish and delivered all that he promised. The finished product is really beautiful and we wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him.

Damaged windows & floor from them

Every single window had clear & large damage on it, they put a nail into my floor where there is under floor heating!!
On the new build of my house they were far too small leaving massive gaps either side , when my rep had visited 5 times overall to take the same measurements. Absolutely shocking work overall & didn’t seem to care when I told them, demanded a refund immediately. Stay far far away from Munster joinery

Great experience 10/10

Our Munster joinery windows and doors are in our house almost a month now and we are delighted! The service from our sales rep Bobby Moloney was brilliant, he was very responsive and helpful. We are delighted we called to the Ballydesmond factory to have a look at the different options before making our final call. The windows were fitted around 9 weeks after deposit was paid. Our fitters were really efficient and friendly. They were in and out within a day and a half- no easy task for 10 big windows and 3 doors. Their work was really clean and tidy, they left the house as the found it and their finish was very professional.
Overall we couldn’t be happier. There’s a few issues that the service team are dealing with - some small chips and damage to vents but MJ have been really quick in sorting this out.
Would definitely recommend!

A very happy customer here ,recently had our windows and doors replaced by MJ in Donegal Town .John Cannon was our rep ,can’t recommend him enough, punctual, very knowledgeable, calm and dedicated ,always there to help with ideas ,to answer all our silly questions 😁 also very helpful afterwards when we needed help or info .About Paul (fitter ) and his team ,all I can say is that they were amazing, tidy, clean ,organised, punctual left everything spotless, they had their own covers for floors ,did the plastering afterwards too ,washed and polished the windows ,all we had to do was to hoover the dust and mop the floors.
Might sound silly but having nothing to fix after it’s such a big deal, all we needed was a bit of paint and everything looks like was never a site in progress 😂.

I recently received my triple-glazed windows from Munster Joinery and I am extremely pleased with both the product quality and the overall service provided.
From the initial enquiry through to delivery, the process was handled professionally and efficiently. The windows are of an excellent standard, with a high-quality finish and outstanding build quality. They have already made a noticeable difference in terms of insulation, noise reduction, and the overall appearance of the property.
I would particularly like to thank Martin Mannion, who was exceptionally helpful throughout the entire process. Martin was knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to answer questions and provide updates, making the experience straightforward and stress-free.
The delivery was completed as expected, and the windows arrived in excellent condition. A special thank you for the team who delivered the windows, they were extremely helpful and pleasant. I would have no hesitation in recommending Munster Joinery to anyone considering new windows and doors and would gladly use them again in the future.

Excellent.

Sid was our Munster Rep and he was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. I kept changing my mind and he was always willing and eager to accommodate my changes. He linked in perfectly with my builder and his attention to detail was second to none. He constantly checked in to make sure he got the order correct. There was no error in the final delivery and the doors and windows installed fit the bill perfectly. Well done.
