Only place to service all your auto needs
I have been doing business with them for over 30 years.my whole family has and now my adult kids do as well. They do it all there's nothing I am aware of on your car they can't fix. One of my cars is a 2010 Saab, and they do it all.
ZERO STARS I used this location for two…
ZERO STARS I used this location for two vehicles over the last several years mostly for oil changes and inspections, but I made the mistake of a full brake service. New rotos and pads all around right away they did not feel / sound right. I had them check it several times and each time they said no issues. My most recent state inspection they claimed I had brake issues I said great you did them and they are still under warranty and that issue magically disappeared. Now 15 months later my vehicle is clearly having problems when I use the brakes, so I take to PepBoys and guest what... Warped rotos and near end-of-life brake pads in under 15 months and 10K miles. AVOID MIDAS FOR ANYTHING BESIDES A OIL CHANGE AND MAYBE EVEN AVOID THEM FOR THAT. ZERO STARS
If I could put a “0” I would
If I could put a “0” I would! In so many words called us a liar! Went in for oil change (that was the only problem) we thought everything was fixed. A week later we have an oil leak! They were In denial that it happened there. Funny no oil leak before we went there. Long story short I called as soon as I saw lights on that weren’t on before, I called them tried to make it our fault so went in early next day and they were still in denial took their time sitting around laughing and talking mind u they open at 8:00 in the morning we got there about 8:13. I believe they were hoping we would leave ( not a chance!). The car was serviced about 30 to 45 min later Still they said they had nothing to do with the oil leak but they could fix everything for 450. Yeah fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me! No way we will ever, ever go back to that lazy place where they call themselves mechanics!
Everyone is very nice and helpful!
Good morning Midus,
Thank you so much for helping me.
The kindness you have shown me to help me get my new brakes done and giving me a discount coupon.
Letting me sit in your lobby while you did the work.
I have shared with everyone I know about how great the service. And I sent them all your awards that was awesome to see.
Just thank you very much.
Surgery in August
Got estimates on future repairs I will do things in increments

Just wanted to share Midus in Seaside
Lots of Awards on the wall and so transparent on all prices on the board
So many people were repeat customers
They were happy
It was a very busy Saturday
I have brought my old vehicles there before.
I don't own anymore just my Solstice that I haven't driven that needs repairs
Will be taking it to Midus
F-150, Solstice GXP and Grand Jeep Cherokee that I don't have now.
They never seen my F-250 before
But I got to see many customers come and go and get their vehicles fixed.
I have decided no more Dealerships
I like it at Midus!
They are totally detailed oriented, honest!
You get all the photos on your phone after Diagnosis what your parts look like no secrets nothing hidden or guested.
It’s great
So transparent and they explain in detail
And they found things my Dealership didn’t even tell me about, including lights out. That’s so important lights so you don’t get pulled over.
I showed my friends and family how transparent you are
I don't get that anywhere
Got my new Brakes with.

Maria, Vince, Leon & Mechanics
Just so grateful I came back home to Midus
Went to get my oil changed and tire…
Went to get my oil changed and tire rotation the manager Shane, who is super rude and talks over the customer stated he could not get the lug nuts off with our lug nut key so they couldn’t do the tire rotation. That was fine. Well, they did not put the lug nut key back in our vehicle and now are saying they never had the lug nut key and are refusing to replace it. We have been a long time customer and we definitely will not be going back to Midas.
Greed
In March, I brought my car to Midas in Hamilton, NJ because of a throttle body issue. I was quoted $962 for the repair.
Thankfully, I decided to get a second opinion before agreeing to it. I contacted the dealership and found out the throttle body itself costs $112 plus tax. Another repair shop quoted me $367, including the part, and yet another mechanic said they would install the part for $90 if I supplied it.
A quote of $962 isn't just expensive, it's outrageous. It feels like an attempt to take advantage of someone in a stressful situation who may not know better. I couldn't help but wonder if I was being treated differently because I'm a woman.
When I questioned the price, I was told they use dealer-supplied parts. That explanation doesn't hold up when the dealership itself sells the part for $112. So what exactly justifies charging nearly $1,000?
This experience destroyed any trust I had in Midas. I walked away feeling disgusted, and I will never set foot in another Midas shop again. If you value honest pricing, get a second opinion before agreeing to any major repair here.

Scammers
My college student daughter went to Midas of Hadley for oil change in April and they told her that the car needs all four brake rotors, pads and one caliper without even taking the wheels off.
I took the car to my trusted mechanic yesterday, had it inspected ( $50 ) - absolutely nothing wrong found, pads are 6-7 mm. Called Mike Garcia - " service adviser " and a liar, he hung up on me. This place is a scam, please avoid.

I’ve used this store for years to do my oil changes and a job that should only take 15 to 20 minutes takes them well over an hour every time and I’m always the first one there with no one else in the bays and still it takes them over an hour every time! Secondly twice now with the full inspection of my car they have lied to me telling me my brake lines were bad wanted to charge me over a thousand dollars but I found out from another certified mechanic that it wasn’t true! So they offered me a free oil change for me not to post a bad review about them so I didn’t well this last time they checked my brakes and they told me my front brake pads which I already knew were bad needed to be replaced fine but they told me my rotors needed to be replaced which wasn’t true I’m tired of going in there and them telling me things that aren’t true just to make more money!!!! They didn’t show me anything and I’m sure they realize I know nothing about cars so they can just tell me anything and I’ll believe it and just have them do it! Really?? Wow
Had an appointment at 9am
Had an appointment at 9am. 1020 am my car never moved. I took my keys and went to another place. I went in for NYS inspection. The people at 1742 Sunrise Highway Bay shore. I would not recommend going for any service. Poor service
BE CAREFULL WITH THIS SHOP!!!
BE CAREFULL WITH THIS SHOP!!!
I made the big mistake of taking my car to this shop for an oil change.
I thought that is a good deal to make the full synthetic oil change for $60 with a coupon.
Everything looks fine, until, 10 days after, my car lost its the drain plug, and the my motor was damaged.
I have to tow it to them, they make a diagnostic and give the car back, saying everything is fine with it.
But a few hours after I picked up and only driving a few blocks, I notice the motor is making a loud noise of metal at the motor and take the car back to them.
They check that out and told me the motor is damaged and they don't going to pay for the repair or replacement of the motor, because they think that was too many days after the service when the drain plug was lost.
They said I have to pay $ 4,800 for the repair.
My experience with midas touch was…
My experience with midas touch was great, they kept touch to fix my vehicle, the customer service was very good, and fixed my vehicle faster than I expected, would go again for all my vehicle repairs. Thank you Midas Touch
Motorhome exhaust problem
Had a problem with exhaust of motorhome and Midas were excellent in (English) communication and fixed problem within an hour at very reasonable cost. Would 100% recommend.
Do not recommend
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this Midas location was serious enough that I feel obligated to warn others. Cypress TX 529 location
On March 28, I paid approximately $1,400 for repairs on my vehicle, including a gasket replacement. A few weeks later, I began noticing a strong gasoline odor. On May 30, I returned to Midas to have the issue inspected.
During that visit, the mechanic informed me that the high-pressure fuel line had been bent during previous repair work and replaced the line. The problem with that explanation is that Midas was the shop that performed the prior repair.
I was told the vehicle was fixed and drove it home. The very next day, my car would not start and would only crank. Concerned about the repeated issues, I had the vehicle inspected by an independent mechanic on June 1. I was informed that the fuel line installed by Midas the day before was leaking due to improper installation.
This was not a minor inconvenience. A leaking fuel line created a significant safety concern, caused my vehicle to become inoperable, and resulted in additional repair expenses that I should never have incurred.
What has been most disappointing is the response afterward. Store manager Larry was of no assistance in resolving the issue, and when I escalated the matter, the regional manager focused on disputing my account rather than addressing the fact that my vehicle was returned to me with a leaking fuel line and then failed the following day.
The facts are straightforward:
• March 28: Midas performed approximately $1,400 in repairs.
• May 30: Midas diagnosed a bent fuel line and replaced it.
• May 31: My vehicle would not start.
• June 1: An independent mechanic found the newly installed fuel line leaking due to improper installation.
I entrusted this shop with my vehicle and expected competent repairs. Instead, I experienced multiple repair-related issues, additional costs, lost time, and a situation that could have posed a serious safety risk. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.
I had my car work on in May 7 2025 I it was 2500.00
I had my car work on in May 7 202 know they say I owe them more then I took out because of the interest I paid over a 1000 and it like I never paid anything I think they are going to far and not fair I understand That interest I'm all right with that but not that much like I didn't pay anything
Midas Pearl City/ Aiea charged me $614…
Midas Pearl City/ Aiea charged me $614 for an oil leak that they never fixed. I went back several times before I finally took my car to a mechanic who said "Midas doesn't fix this type of leak, they should have sent you to a mechanic and not touched your car" and now I have to spend $1,213 More and wait to get into a quality shop. I heard this from 2 reputable mechanics, same estimate. I am not made of money and this is setting me back financially. This review is to warn any potential future victims to this scam. I thought they were honest, national name recognition, but that is not what I got.
I had a reservation for 1 hour after…
I had a reservation for 1 hour after they opened up and when I got there because they were understaffed and the repair would take 2 hours to complete. STAY AWAY
