Credit where Credit due
Initially having problems with my Mobilize lease vehicle of a serious administration error.On seeing the organisation star rating on Trustpilot was a surprise and disappointment in reading, this company had not come up to the mark for most of its customers.
With this in mind did not hold up much hope for a speedy resolution with initial thoughts understandably of anger and despair.
This appeared a business who did not care and placed profit before the customer.
However it must be said and to give credit where credits due.
My recent Personal experience with Mobilize. They must be thanked for their professionalism, patience, and having a “people-first” attitude, to the issues raised and one which they resolved quickly and effectively.
It is said Great customer service starts at the moment you are in need of their support and from my experience of Mobilize on this occasion certainly was the case and this hopefully has given an added confidence towards Car Leasing needs for the future.
🚨 Consumer Alert
🚨 Consumer Alert: Renault Zoe battery hire agreements are failing customers at end‑of‑life.
I’m currently stuck in a rolling battery hire contract on a Renault Zoe; the battery is at 84% health, but the charging block is effectively end‑of‑life. Despite this, Renault/RCI continue to charge monthly fees.
Renault promotes a “free take‑back recycling scheme”, yet customers are expected to pay for the return logistics — contradicting the advertised message.
When I asked Renault what happens at end‑of‑life, I was told: “Well, at least now we know electric vehicles only last ten years.”
This raises serious concerns about:
* EV longevity claims
* Transparency in battery‑hire agreements
* Consumer protection
* Renault’s end‑of‑life processes
Multiple Zoe vehicles are currently sitting at dealerships with the same issue, and Renault staff have stated they don’t know the correct procedure.
This is a significant consumer‑rights issue that needs industry attention.
Very poor communication and service
Very poor communication with the company almost 8 weeks after our car was collected we finally got a letter regarding how much we owed! We had never been given a copy of the inspection report and they were virtually impossible to contact over the phone. I would avoid at all costs
Useless processes
In the process of buying a new car, and I cannot process the finance authorisation as I don't have a laptop or tablet. Tried using a phone but cannot sign the paperwork through the phone. Dealership advising must be on a tablet or laptop.
Useless process, and lazy company.
Create professional documents
They provide agreements for people to sign constantly but are so unprofessional they cannot provide them via Docusign, their answer is to expect people to print off, sign, and post back which delays the process further. Stay clear
Was advised that I could terminate my…
Was advised that I could terminate my lease early and pay a settlement figure or sell the car privately. Requested the information on how to sell the car privately, organised a buyer for the car but never received the letter on how to progress with a private sale as I also needed to understand the process with the V5. Promised the letter over 2 weeks ago and I have chased this by phone and email and have still not received it. I called again today as was promised a call back and a response within 24 hours to finally speak to someone who advised that even if I sold the car privately then I would still have to pay the early termination costs too. This is the first time I have been told this so I have wasted not only my time but my partners time and the 3rd party buyers time. The company called me back offering me £15 as a goodwill gesture which makes no difference which was then upped to £20. Genuinely the most frustrating company I have had to deal with and I am now dreading returning my car based on the feedback on other people's experiences on here.
I have tried for 6 weeks to get through…
I have tried for 6 weeks to get through to the settlement team after receiving a fee. Emails are unanswered, phone calls cut out and they don't call back when using the call back option. The general customer number is easier to get through on, but they too can't get through to the settlement team to help, despite it being one company. I have not had a breakdown of my fee and with nowhere else to turn I will need to go down the legal route.
What a rubbish company!!!
What a rubbish company!!!! I have tried so many times to get in contact with this company via email since the 1st June and I still haven’t heard anything back!! I cannot call during the hours they are open due to work.. their communication is appalling and this is just causing me so much stress! I hope I get a reply back from them soon
Horrendous company
Horrendous company.
For 8 weeks I’ve been trying to get in contact with them to return my car as it was at the end of the agreement. Every phone call gets hung up on and emails go unanswered.
I’m now out of my agreement, still have the car and I am no further forward to returning it.
Unclear on what else to do from here to return the car?
Poor Inspection Services and customer services
Cannot fault the car itself, nor the monthly rental price. However, customer services are poor to get hold of, and when returning the vehicle they use "Manheim Cox Automotive" to do the inspection of the car. Had the car for 4 years, and they analyze everything. I was charged £288 for damage and disputed this upon inspection. I believed Nisan/Mobilize Financial Services would be understanding... I took photos of everything and videos. There was 2-3 scratches/dents hardly visible to the naked eye and was very questionable on their official BVRLA photos. After disagreeing for over 25 minutes on the phone, they discounted it by about £50. This was only done after several push backs and time wasted. They also offered a £10 loyalty discount. After leased 5 cars previous to this with other companies, and not having to pay anything extra (excluding mileage) this was the worst experience I've had with any lease company of 12 years. Avoid like the plague unless you want a ton of damages added when you return your car.
All the other reviews are spot on
All the other reviews are spot on. Customer service is woeful. Can’t get a hold of anyone when you need to speak to them. Avoid if possible.
terrible service
terrible service, telephonist dont seem to care , we have fleet of vehicles and wont ever use these again !!!over 15 minutes to just get a settylement figure after being cut off twice - RUDE
Extremely poor customer service
Extremely poor customer service, takes over an hour to get through and 2 weeks to get a reply from email. Will not be leasing through this Nissan lease company ever again. VERY POOR, avoid
DONT TRUST THEM
I’ve been leasing cars for over 20 years, and Mobilize is by far the worst lease company I’ve ever dealt with.
Agreement number: 2700035903.000
Over multiple months, Mobilize failed to take agreed payments from my account despite sufficient funds being available. Instead of taking accountability for their own errors, they marked payments as unpaid and negatively affected my credit file. I am still dealing with issues where one payment was never taken, while a later payment was collected instead, with no proper explanation ever provided.
Trying to contact them is a nightmare. I’ve spent 45 minutes to over an hour on hold on multiple occasions just trying to speak to someone. When you finally get through, they simply tell you that the department dealing with the issue “doesn’t take incoming calls” and that you have to email instead. The problem is, I HAVE emailed repeatedly, and those emails have either been ignored or responded to with generic automated replies saying somebody will contact me. Months later, nobody ever has.
I was even told specifically that a member of their complaints team would be getting back to me regarding my open complaint. That never happened. Instead of resolving the complaint, acknowledging their mistakes, or addressing the impact their errors have had on my credit rating and finances, they simply sent me a settlement figure to terminate the lease early at full cost, as though none of the problems they caused mattered.
To make matters worse, they also paid a congestion charge fine on my behalf without consulting me. I wasn’t afforded the chance to contest it. I later found out it was issued in error—so I didn’t even owe the fine. If I’d been able to contest it, I wouldn’t have had to pay. But they paid it automatically and took the money straight from my account without my permission. After weeks of chasing and arguing with them, they eventually refunded the money, but only after a long and frustrating process.
The car itself has been fine. The problem is the company behind it. Their customer service is appalling, communication is almost non-existent, complaints go unresolved for months, and when THEY make mistakes, the customer is the one who suffers financially and through damage to their credit profile.
If you’re considering leasing a car through Mobilize, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. I genuinely wish I had.
Atrocious VT procedure
I would rate them lower if that was even possible.
I started off by VT'ing my vehicle where the initial process went pretty smoothly, the guys came out when specified notified me of excess charges and went away.
At this point it all went downhill. 1 month later i finally get the final settlement (via phone - still awaiting to get this in the post which has supposedly been sent out), after having to call them from the 3+weeks mark, where i made the payment the same day.
After 1 month of chasing multiple times every week why the funds haven't yet been credited and my account closed i have been passed around from team to team advising they cant see it, speaking to another who can, only to then be contacted and saying my account is in arrears.
Happy to take your money, and then try and say you owe more.
Worst customer service ever!
I concur with other reviews here. The make you wait for hours on hold, then when you finally get them on the line they have no answers and put you on hold for ages again. Don't respond to emails either.
Stay clear of this company!
They are theabsolute pits!!
They are theabsolute pits!!
Keep you on hold for hours to get through and then don't give you any answers, or offer solutions. I will never be doing business with Renault and definitely not with Renault F.S. EVER AGAIN!
Avoid - slow and poor service
Avoid. Very slow to respond, taking minimum of 4 weeks customer service is extremely poor, no interest in advocating for customer rights or resolution. We were without a car for 3 months and they only offered compensation of £150
Complete disregard for consumer rights…
Complete disregard for consumer rights and a deeply frustrating customer experience.
My dealings with Mobilize Financial Services have been characterised by poor communication, delayed responses, and a lack of transparency throughout. Emails often go unanswered or require repeated chasing, and when replies do arrive they are frequently vague and fail to address the core issues.
For context, the Dacia Jogger financed through Mobilize was purchased nearly new with approximately 650 miles on the clock. Serious drivetrain faults became evident within a few months of purchase.
To the best of my knowledge, the vehicle has since required four complete clutch and flywheel replacement / major repair events at approximately:
* 5,000 miles – first major failure
* 7,000 miles – second failure
* 8,000 miles – third failure
* 15,000 miles – fourth failure
That means the vehicle suffered three major failures within roughly the first 8,000 miles of my ownership, and four by around 15,000 miles total mileage. For a nearly new family vehicle, those figures are shocking and wholly unacceptable.
After the second failure, I exercised my right to reject the vehicle under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. While that complaint was still being considered, the vehicle then failed for a third time. Despite this, my rejection request was not upheld.
It has since failed again for a fourth time.
My subsequent complaint regarding my final right to reject has now exceeded the expected complaint handling timescale, leaving me without a clear resolution while the vehicle remains at the dealership. The customer service team has often felt aloof, absent, and at times obstructive rather than supportive.
At every stage I have largely been met with assurances that the car has been “repaired,” yet the same issue has continued to return. That is not a satisfactory outcome for any consumer, particularly where a family vehicle is concerned.
I have been left without confidence in the vehicle, without trust in the process, and without a practical resolution despite significant inconvenience and months of disruption.
A finance company should stand behind consumers when a supplied product repeatedly fails. In my experience, Mobilize Financial Services have fallen well below that standard.
I would be happy to amend or withdraw this review should a fair and reasonable resolution now be reached.
Just Awful , Stay away
Just Awful ,
No one answers the phone ...no way to increase payments, they don't want you to pay the amount off early .. customer service lowest of the low ..
Don't go anywhere near !!
