Overall very happy with the app, I had some small issues to start with but contacted support and they were very quick and helped fix the problem.

Tracker stopped working after about 1 month. Now i Get an unknown error in the app. Tried restarting the tracker and the app. Nothing.
Went to the webpage to get support, phone is closed, chat is closed and the contact page gives a 404.
I would stay away from this tracker and company. I really regret buying a year subscription in one go. Now I am out the money for 11 months…

I bought a Lildog tracker in Geilo in 2024, told it would work in the Norwegian mountains -- but without mobile data, real-time tracking is impossible, and this was never disclosed. Most of my local hikes and ski trips have no signal, so the tracker was useless for me from day one.

I cancelled on 26 October 2024, the day I discovered this. That was also my last ever login.

Despite promptly cancelling, Lildog has kept charging me 149 NOK/month for 19 months.

July 2025: No visible subscription, yet the charges continued. I emailed asking them to confirm cancellation. No reply.

March 2026: A payment-failed email alerted me I was still being charged. I checked the site again, no visible subscription, yet the charges had continued regardless.

I then had to contact them a second time to "cancel" something that, on their own records, didn't exist.

I've now formally demanded a refund of 2,831 NOK. Their own login data confirms no activity since October 2024, no consent, and no visible subscription, yet the money keeps coming out.

If you're considering this product:
Check whether your activities have constant data connection before you buy, and keep a close eye on your bank statement even after you cancel. I wouldn't have caught this without a payment-failed email by chance.

After using Lilcat several months, I discovered a few downsides. The only way I can check the battery status is by the image with the stripes, even if customer service answered that by touching the percentage will come up. Also, customer service takes sometimes ages to answer. The light and sound fetures only are useful when really close (just a few meters). Or to update the position in the app. Otherwise, Lildog is perfect!

Round Octobre 25 I bought a tracker from Lildog and an 84 € subscription, totalling some 150 €. The tracker did not work and did not connect to Bluetooth. I was promised a replacement. Every few weeks I contacted client support and received an apology stating difficulties in forwarding trackers abroad, although the faulty one was received without delay. Recently I contacted Lildog for the umpteenth time suggesting a replacement or a refund. This time I got no answer at all. Bob Snoijink, journalist, France

Love it - Best GPS on the market by far. Live in Denmark and it has been a game changer.

Have used Lilcat for about three years. It is reliable and easy to use, and the cat is easy to see in the dark when the blue light is on.
The cat accept to have the Lilcat on, it is small and lightweight.

It is an excelent device and a good ap. It is easy to set up if you don't mind your cat being named as a dog with an dog icon.

I have a Jack Russel Terrier that loves to cover a lot of ground when she is out. Also, she sometimes get's carried away by her instinct to hunt and manages to break out of our garden. The Lildog offers a chance to find her before something bad happens to her.

It is easy to attach and fits well. Wish it could be turner off, because it steals battery from the phone. The map is not detailed enough. The price is good

This unit work without any problems, and always show me my dog’s position. An improvement could be made that makes it easier to take it off the harness, and contactless charging would be nice.

Easy to setup, easy to use, and seems reliable.

I must say im very happy about my lildog gps. I live little outside the town, and my cat loves to be outside. So i use gps on her to see that she dosent go to town or near the traffic! I love that i can go back in the history to see everyplace shes been and how many steps she has been taking! With normal use on my very avtive cat it last 3 days with power. And im happy with that. I would really recomend this tracker ❤️

AND how easy it is to get in contact with customer service

I am using this for my cat. It is really relaxing to know where he is. If I need him to come in I do know exactly where he is.

Work great with our one.
Little babatunde will never be lost for too long thanks to the handy GPS.
Also the active levels help us monitor his health so 5* from us

I dog sit as a side gig and having this has given me peace of mind!! Now I can play with the dog off the lead even in parks that are not enclosed. Great product!

I decided to try out Lilcat and buy one tracker, and honestly, I don’t know how I lived without it.

I live outside the city, so my cats love to go out, and I used to stress about where they were or if they were safe. Now, I can just check and see exactly where he is in real time—no more worrying! I have to buy more ASAP, one for each of my cats!

Other than the tracking per sè it has many cool features, like the sound and LED light options for when he decides to hide in the bushes or under a porch.

It is lightweight and comes with a breakaway collar, so I don’t have to worry about it getting caught on something. Plus, it’s waterproof and durable, which is great because my cat isn’t exactly gentle on his gear.

If you’ve got an outdoor cat, I can’t recommend this enough. It gives me total peace of mind!

Recently got one for my dog and it's given me such peice of mind. Especially on the long walks when I let him off the lead, I'm always reassured knowing I have this tracker.
Highly reccomend to everyone with a pet!!!

The lildog is very good it shows me the place where my dog is very exactly so i can find my dog everytime.

Support has been really slow to respond, I sent in a request in January, but apparently they had someone that was sick? They responded to me now this week, and they're pushing out an update today that fixes the small annoyance that I had! Talk about taking feedback! Also the app has improved a lot over the past year. It was pretty rough when I started using it a year ago, it feels so much better now after all the updates they've been making.
