Arjun was our initial contact, and on some follow ups. Very thorough in all aspects on every visit. Professional and friendly. This applies to all Optical Express employees I had the pleasure to meet.

Just had my Laser Eye Surgery in Dublin with Optical Express,and all I can say is that the whole experience has been amazing,I still can’t believe I now have perfect vision with no more Lens or glasses for me,

Every single person I have met from my initial consultation in Cork with Rachel,to my surgery in Tallaght,Dublin yesterday,with Mikhail and all the team,Emer the optometrist today,it has been the best experience I could have wished for.

All staff in Cardiff optical express are great and in particular I have seen will and Elly who both were friendly but also explaining all details about my eyes health etc as well as answering all questions I need to ask them about my eye surgery
I also met April the brunch manger who also helped me on two occasions but she is also friendly kind and a lovely lady

Very satisfied with my experience in Optical Express in Dublin, after having laser eye surgery. I was surprised at how smooth and easy they made the whole process and I felt very taken care of. I felt they were very thorough with all of the eye tests before the surgery and made sure there were plenty of chances to answer any questions I had. The whole team were so kind and friendly.

While on a trip to Cork recently, my glasses needed to be tightened as they kept falling off when I looked downwards.
The lovely Eliza looked after me with such kindness. She and her colleague had them fixed and cleaned for me in a few minutes.
They did not charge me a cent. I was so grateful to have my glasses fixed and not have to wait until I returned home to my own optician.
This is real customer service in action. Service with a smile

Hi , i visited mahonpoint in cork on Tuesday the 16th of June 2026, I was met by a very nice young lady at reception, then I was looked by Roxana for to get my eyes tested for surgery , Roxana explained everything in fine detail to me ,Roxana was so good to make sure that I understood everything and I am suitable for surgery , so I’m going ahead with surgery , couldn’t be happier with the service provided , so thank you both

I dealt with an absolute lady today called Brenda.she was unbelievably helpful in every way I also had so many questions regarding my upcoming laser eye surgery and she put my mind at ease and answered all of my questions with confidence and reassured me at every point in my appointment today! I highly recommend optical express they were so professional, all the girls I dealt with today were so polite and made it so much easier for me! Thank you to all the team who made my appointment so amazing!

The welcome experience from Breda as I entered the store, was 10/10 everyone was extremely friendly and attention to detail from questions to eye exam made feel at ease and I was so relaxed throughout. Overall very professional team and informative to my needs.

Very professional throughout, from initial consultation in Cork to procedure in Tallaght.

Both my son Billy and myself visited on Saturday 16/05, from the moment we entered the door we were made feel so welcome by Breda, she guided us through the whole process and answered all our questions with ease. Amy then took us individually and examined our eyes, she was so thorough and patient. Nelly then examined our eyes, she was exceptional, she couldn’t have explained anything any better, she even picked up on the fact that I have dry eye and advised on treatment options, which I tried and are working (my previous test in the last two months, with another store didn’t pick it up). Amazing team, thank you so much.

A huge thank you to the team at Optical Express for the amazing service today. My sunglasses lens had popped out of the frame, and Rachel, Eliza, and especially Roxana were so kind, welcoming, and helpful from the moment I arrived. They fixed everything in just 15 minutes!

Unfortunately optical express is not a company in my honest held opinion can be recommended.

I was promised after care after concerns I raised in relation to reviews and video reviews I have seen.
Optical express were constantly told I have an issue with one of my eyes.

They are saying as 3 months is over and done with I now have to pay to have my eyes checked and pay should I need another operation.

They made promises over the phone and have not followed through.
Is a man of honest in integrity I expect others to show honest integrity.

Especially with a company you pay thousands of pounds too.

Please do not fall of all their advertising.
The company is dishonest and untrustworthy.

They will tell you what you want to hear to get your money.

Do your research with other companies.
Have a look and see how many protests have been made in relation to optical express ruining people's lives.

I am very surprised that they have been able to continue with such apprentice.

Aftercare is not their priority.
Customer service is not their priority.

Getting your money and making profit is their priority and money is their god.

There may well be a previously rehearsed spontaneous response from somebody from their team, someone who has spoken to a legal advisor to try and contradict what I have stated.

Please do not fall to this company.
Otherwise you will be exactly the same as me, wishing you had listened to those people with the bad experiences.

I have nothing but praise for all the team at optical express in Tallaght. From the friendliness of the receptionist staff who always made me feel welcome and put me at ease to all of the team involved in my lens replacement. I would highly recommend optical express in Tallaght.

The team in Newbridge are fantastic. Friendly, huge experience and super helpful. I received a very thorough exam and lots of good advice from the Doctor. Thanks to Breda and Amy for looking after us so well, when choosing frames. We couldn't be happier.
