Got the best exchange rate possible from OFX. I have made 6 exchanges so far & have had no problems with any of them.

Talked with a representative about a registration issue delaying a payment, once it was clarified and resolved the outstanding payment was in my account within two days.

My client called OFX and requested to transfer funds to my account on the 27 October, Then OFX Issued a receipt to my client for the transfer hich they said successful and will be available on the 29th of October, So today November 3, I went to my bank to check, My Bank could not find any trace of transaction. This is a message from my client "On 10/27 I understood that they had the funds and could send them immediately. They did send me the receipt you saw. It turns out that was not true. They didn’t have the funds until 10/28. So the funds did not transfer in spite of the receipt I forwarded to you." Liers
Unfortunately, what happened here reinforces the concerns I’ve had about OFX. They issued a transfer receipt that gave us every reason to believe the funds had been sent, only for us to later find out that they didn’t actually have the funds until October 28 and that the transfer never went through. Situations like this have real implications on my end because I’m left making decisions and commitments based on information that turns out not to be a lie.

We also had both our business and personal data leaked by OFX in early October, 2026.

OFX forced our company to hand over sensitive information in order to have an account with them and then they leak it through their database being hacked.

We are still working through the estimated and ongoing damage this has caused.

I've used OFX for ten years. They've never let me down. I can transfer a paltry fiver or a whopping great amount. They don't seem to care. It always gets to my account quickly.

I have used OFX to transfer funds from my U.S. bank account to my bank acct here in Australia for a number of years now. The exchange rate that they offer is reasonable, though I admit to not having compared it to other exchange companies, just to an online exchange rate.

In this world of rampant fraud, OFX is doing their best to protect us and themselves. Working with Sara Appleton made a difficult situation bearable. She is sharp, knowledgeable and patient and brings good natured caring to the situation.

I have known OFX for many years for my transfer of funds. Without hesitation, I can affirm my total satisfaction in every operation carried out on my behalf by OFX. An excellent rate of exchange associated with a speedy and safe delivery of funds to the destination account makes OFX my best choice. It works but omg transfers can be slow. Waited almost a week once. If you're not in a rush it's fine I guess.

I really appreciate this company for three reasons.

First of all, they are run by real people who listened to me and worked with the complicated nuances of my business during the onboarding process, (whereas for other companies doing similar things we were denied immediately by impersonal bots).

Secondly, my account manager Paul Lopes has been extremely responsive and quick to make any changes I needed.

Finally, the price is right and I'm saving a lot of money on international transfers.

log on procedure is very frustrating & by the time it takes to receive a verification code by email it has expired & requests to resubmit - once & if you get in to make a currency purchase there is NO assistance in placing a limit order making the user feel a little mentally challenged

I had an excellent experience with Amy today. She was knowledgeable, patient and proactive in helping me navigate international money transfers to a new location. She also took the initiative to recertify my details for the year ahead to avoid any unnecessary delays. Everything she could resolve on the call was handled efficiently, and she followed up on the outstanding items by email within a couple of hours.
