Dodgy website, branded in a local language but actually ships from Germany which generally incurs extra postage fees. Misleading.

The packaging of the order was also terrible. You opened the box of a jerky I ordered, and just stuffed a bunch of different jerkies in it, to save on postage. That's not standard practice. But ok, onwards.

You messed up my order, then you suggested I pay for postage to return the old one so you could rectify the situation. It doesn't work like this in online retail. The next suggestion was a 10 percent discount voucher. Also terrible, because I am still out of pocket to rectify your mistake. The final suggestion (only after I threatened to come on here and give you a bad review) was a 10 euro voucher. Which is still terrible because I still have to pay postage from Germany (again, you used misleading advertising to make it seem like it would ship locally) so I am still out of pocket for postage to rectify your mistake that wouldn't have happened if you read your own packing slips.

Just use Jerky store. At least they don't mislead, have actually helpful customer service, and they don't argue with their customers over email.

EDIT: In their reply, they say the replacement is at no cost. Nonsense, I still have to pay for postage, not to mention the time lost.

Amazing beef jerky – delicious, perfectly seasoned and just as they describe it. The shipment arrived on time, everything was smooth and professional. Highly recommend!

Some items were in short supply and even with the replacement, I was left with one less item than I had ordered. it ain't much money lost but it's still money paid.
The website should better display the quantities before ordering to avoid that in the future.
Other than that it's as good as advertised and the prices are attractive.
Update 16/07: second order went through w/o a hitch, even got a coupon.

i love the products that are available here. Especially the dried fish, i haven't been able to find that anywhere else so far. the only reason i'm not giving 5 stars, is because the delivery is sometimes, in my experience, a little bit slow, or at least slower than i wish it was. But otherwise, is jerky House still my go-to for jerky.

When I made my order, the site indicated that my delivery would be made within 1-3 work days and be delivered by Bpost, our local postal service.
Now, 2 work days after I placed my order, I've received a mail telling me that the delivery service will be DHL and my parcel will arrive within 5-7 days. Safe to say that this isn't the service I was told Jerky House provides.

So I ordered over £60 of jerky various flavours and differant types, I recived a email saying my delivery would be with me within 3 days, that was over 10 days ago, I've tried contacting the. But no success, is this a dodgy company or a legitimate one, I feel like I've been mugged off

I ordered some Bifi Rolls and Carazzas. The order arrived after a few days, as expected. The "best before" dates for the products are good. It would have been nice with some parcel tracking though.
All in all a good experience.

legit business despite of old looking website

i ordered 60 packs and counted each packet and quantity was correct

plus expiration date is for +1year for each product

also i received a chinese cookie for luck i appreciate this small gesture

This company gets a lot of slack from people here on trustpilot, mostly from people outside of EU who seemingly didn't realize they'll have to pay import duties on wares coming from the EU. I was a bit vary before making my order, but because I live in Sweden I didn't think too much of it because I am in the EU.

My order arrived from Germany in 3 days, absolutely marvelous shipping time. I even asked on day 2 if they sent it and got a prompt response with a shipping code.

I don't have any complaints at all, great website, great service and great shipping time. They don't deserve all bad reviews. If you're not in the EU then don't order if you don't want import duties, simple as that.

This is my second time ordering from jerky house and both times went smoothly. The box is well packed and I also got a free fortune cookie.

The delivery time was said to be around 2-4 business days and they held true to that timeframe both times which is great.

I live in Sweden and did not have any problems with taxes and fees. I did not have to pay anything extra like some people in Norway had to pay.

The only downside is that the website does not have much information or contact information, which makes it look unreliable and shifty.
I was hesitant to buy anything in the beginning but having 2 great experiences now, leaves my mind at ease. So people in Sweden can safely buy without getting problems with taxes and fees.

Greetings, i bought quite a bit of product from here, delivered to Spain.
Package arrived quite well, the product inside was not damaged and the cookie was a very nice touch!
What i bought was the Indiana Chicken Jerky 12x25g and JL Beef Jerky Original 12x25g.

They included an invoice paper with the package as well.

Only complain i could have is that the first package tracking number wasnt working properly but the 2nd package they re-send in case the package has been lost worked well.

The support on mail whas very nice and they responded quite often and in a timely manner.

I would reccomend to try it at least once.

Scam store. pretends to be a store in your own country by branding the site in your native language depending on where your ip-address is located. But is actually sited in Germany. The costs is doubled the asking price when your domestic toll is applied after shipping. Stay away!
