Since I've taken out a subscription to HLN Belgium, I'm invaded by phishing mails in Dutch although I'm French-speaking. What a coincidence!
It's of course impossible that DPG sells our data, isn't it...

DPG Media (Belgium) uses methods like a scam: They offer an article for 2,20€, ask for the IBAN and then demand 19.95€. If you don't pay - of course i do NOT, they add each month 40€ to the bill. If you want contact them, they ask more information about you - DON'T DO! And in Belgium, you must telephone to a PAY NUMBER.
This Press Agency is a SCAM!

You won't find bad reviews because they get deleted. You can only review their app's functionality.

You will find they won all sorts of awards for journalism. In my naivety I thought journalism meant facts.

Their subscription deal is A SCAM. They don't tell you that you are on the hook for 3 years. That's hidden in the terms. And it takes just a few seconds to subscribe. I basically got scammed for about 600 EUROS. I keep downloading their app as a sunken cost fallacy, but it's bad for my mood and mental health.

The first thing you will notice when you get your subscription: you get advertisements. That means you are the product they are selling.

You will get push notifications sometimes 3 times per day with opinion pieces by immigrants about how evil white people are. The result is that you will start feeling as if the immigrants you pass on the street hate you. And this doesn't go away.

They sent me the same article twice as a push notification on the same day: once with a normal title, once with white men in the title. A white men experiment.

However, they defended the white billionaire Elon Musk when he did the nazi salute, saying: he is a fan of comic books and wanted to lift off like superman. But white men are the root of all problems in the world though. But Elon is our savior. Makes sense.

They are clearly pushing a meat agenda. They post boldfaced lies like "soy works like estrogen and gives you breasts". An easily debunked meat industry lie. For every pro veg article, they post 20 articles making you afraid of eating mostly plants. One interview was with a white man who was living in India and was fighting the "Vegetarian Lobby" there. This economist was trying to get Indians to eat only eggs and take a vitamin C pill. Literally said you can raise children like this. No fact checking whatsoever. Great nutrition advice from DeMorgen.

They incessantly push certain talking points like "keep consuming", "the planet is fine", "don't take personal responsibility", "keep making babies", "the economy must grow grow grow", "the Chinese are very scary", "immigrants are horribly oppressed and miserable in our horrible country",...

Apparently, not getting your 8 year old kid started on hormone blockers in an attempt to change their gender is child abuse.

They don't call the genocide in Palestina a genocide, but they did say a green party politician was guilty of genocide because they are against GMO crops. They also say the "conflict" in The Middle East is actually about "whiteness".

They completely ignore the evironment or any negative role The West has in geopolitics. Iraq or Lybia never happened. But white men are evil though. Makes sense.

The only positive thing I think is they frequently post articles against alcohol. Must not be an advertiser.

This is supposedly the left wing newspaper in Flanders. Owned by a heavily subsidized billionaire, btw, that was born into a banking family.

When you read DeMorgen, it feels like they are warping your brain with manipulation. It's agressive. Accusing. It's triggering. It gives you a tension headache. They also bring hate into your life.

Just download The Guardian app. The Guardian also hate white men, but they also post environmental news, and you get 30 FREE articles per month. I don't know any European news app where you don't get white men hate. It's the story of our time.

Most white men are not Hitler or King Leopold II. Most of the colonists were white men, but most white men were not colonists. Most white men in history were subsistence farmers. Most billionaired are white (like the owner of DeMorgen), but most white men are just regular law abiding working folk.

I have no control of what people of my race and gender have done throughout history. Only light can cure darkness and only love can cure hate.

Why must you allow to air 24/7 prescription drugs.??
I used to ENJOY watching forensic files etc, now all you air are those cheesy boring advertisements on prescription drugs. So again I ask WHY.?? I can no longer watch these very very cheesy and stupid. So now you have lost a valuable fan.

I love to read HLN but it's VERY annoying that you have to call to end a subscription, we're in the year 2021, why can’t I just cancel online like most other subscription services? That’s a bit ridiculous.
