Just DON'T!!!
I would rate it ZERO STARS if I could:
Bought a couple of watch straps for what seemed a reasonable price - but in reality, they are a storefront for Alibaba (the package handling even mentioned "my package from Alibaba"), and I got crappy straps, that are available at 10% of the price I payed.
When I confronted them with this, they claimed they only used Alibaba for distribution - but the chinese writing on the plastic bags surrounding the straps (inside the post package) clearly indicates, that this is a lie!
When I asked for a return authorization (as per their description on the website) I got pushback, more lies and no authorization number - had to threaten them with money recall and report to authorities to get the "authorization" (only my 5. email asking for this).
Now that the goods have been returned, I expect to hit the same roadblock as other customers: They refuse to return the money...
Don't EVER consider using this company - scammers and hustlers who do not care about customers!

Ordered a little watch zipper case from helvetus.co.uk for £22. The photos showed it with its foam insert and a cleaning cloth, the foam insert being critical as it stops your expensive timepiece rattling around. It arrived as an empty case (no foam insert, no cloth). When I queried it since "item was not as described", they told me the foam and cloth are in the photos "for demonstration purposes only" and that's how it comes. The product description however does not state that anywhere. Their product page then promises "Free Shipping & Return" for incorrect items, but they told me to pay the postage myself if I wanted to send it back to Switzerland (around £12 with Royal Mail).
BTW don't assume any of the items on this site are Swiss-made as my case had a "Made in China" sticker on the package. Nothing wrong with that and the quality was good but not at that price as you can buy a similar if not the same case with the correct foam cushion for around £5-£10 direct from Chinese vendors on Amazon or on AliExpress and get the kind of customer service you should expect. Will never deal with this outfit again.

Very disappointing purchase. First, the actual strap color is significantly darker than the bright color shown on their website. More importantly, the strap is available in only one size, and the 6 o’clock side is too short for my wrist, causing the clasp to sit noticeably off-center and making it uncomfortable to wear.

When I contacted the company, their response was simply that they offer only one size and that it fits most customers. No alternative or solution was offered, and they completely ignored my request for a refund.

A disappointing product and, even more disappointing, customer service. I would not recommend this purchase.

I bought straps for my Cartier Watch one was never worn but the metal connector just fell off the strap before I even fixed it to the watch. The second has almost fallen off after one month of normal day wear and they refuse to replace the one never worn let alone the one month old one. Appalling customer service

3 weeks to arrive, wrong colour came, ask for a refund Helvetus pushed back, finally accepted return, cost £14 to post back still not had refund 3 weeks later! FYI straps come with China writing on and they are very cheap looking

Cheap Chinese crap. Don't let them fool you, they are not based in the US or UK. They won't even give you a tracking number because you'd know you made a mistake. The strap didn't even fit my watch that was pictured on their site. Complete waste and way overpriced.

Ordered a strap at Helvetus, it came from Aliexpress.com (conclusion based on it being mentioned on label). Dropshipment scam.

Very poor quality. Not compatible with genuine Cartier watch.
Doesn’t fit, no tapering to strap. No holes punched in strap. Strap sent has clasp fitting as well as buckle of very poor quality.
Tool is pathetic. Cheap tiny ‘play’ tool absolutely extortionately priced which also applies to strap
Arrived in Chinese packaging.

I wish you are all going to hell! I have order since fist week on October but until now, i dont even get the tracking number yet! I will banned this products from my country and report to the authorities. DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THIS BRAND!

Like everyone else here I am massively disappointed with these straps. Cheap Chinese rubbish at a premium price . Wish I had read reviews before purchasing but you live and learn !

Do not buy from this company - products are cheap and poor quality. Not worth the money. Also even though I have sent the items back and they have confirmed receipt they still have not refunded me, it’s been over 3 weeks now. They keep saying it’s been refunded but I think it’s a scam

Bull S , Bull S, Bull S is all you get from this company. Sent me a refund a month ago back to card because "my Cartier santos watch didn't fit their Chinese carrier copy strap". Yes you read that right. The refund never arrived.......... do not consider using this supplier.

The review is broken down to 2 parts: the ordering process and the delivered product.
By mistake I ordered a nylon strap for my Cartier Roadster rather than the rubber strap. Within 10 minutes of the order I realized the mistake and emailed their CS to either cancel the order or exchange for the correct strap. After going round and round with emails, they said the order was processed and could not make any changes. I ordered the rubber strap the next day. They did provide a 15% discount. Both straps shipped in the same package so it was BS they could not change the order. Received both straps today. I initially could not tell which was the rubber or vinyl strap. CS was responsive with that answer and gave me a video on youtube to watch to thread the deployment clasp which I ordered. Helvetus makes themselves out to be a swiss company and you think you are getting a made in Switzerland product. Wrong. The watches are shipped from China. They are thin and cheaply made. I also bought the deployment clasp, a piece of junk. What can you expect for $10. The strap does wear comfortable on the wrist, but I do not trust the clasp to keep it together. I tried to return one of the straps using USPS, they need some tax info from the seller, which they could not provide, so I could not use USPS to return to Switzerland, what a joke. So I will take a loss on the vinyl strap and sell it to a fellow enthusiast for a couple of dollars. Their CS was responsive, Mia. I cannot tell if she is a human or a BOT using AI.

They send a strap directly from China (easy to increase your margin this way of course), and guess what the strap doesn’t even fit the watch despite standardized sizes (Cartier Santos Dumont large for me).

And when you ask for a refund, you have to pay the international shipment. Shame on Helvetus.

Anyone thinking about ordering a rubber strap for their Ceramic M79210CNU-0001 from HELEVETUS... Don't bother. Despite my email to confirm that their strap is compatible with my watch they responded with a firm yes. The strap arrived and guess what... It doesn't fit. More so this £73.00 strap was exactly the same £28.00 strap from e bay.

Matters got even worse, I returned the non compliant strap for a refund. They were adamant that they had processed my refund, after 4 weeks of back and forth with HELEVETUS they've confess my refund was not processed. In the end my credit card company managed to secure the refund.

Save yourself your time and don't bother with HELEVETUS.

I went on their website, selected the correct watch (clear in photos), followed their recommend strap size and the wrong size was sent.

They say it shoud be unworn/fitted for return which i did not know what it was the incorrect size until a watch repairer had fitted the strap.

Strap comes from China in a cheap paper box so clearly does not cost them a lot to produce.

Do not buy from these cowboys.

Informed Helvetus that the watch strap was too narrow for the lug width and they confirmed I could return for an exchange for a slightly larger lug width.
All seemed good in terms of the responsiveness of their customer service person (I assume she is real and not simply an AI bot). I processed the return in accordance with their instructions. Royal Mail proof of delivery was sent to them showing that it had been successfully delivered to them 6 days ago.
Standard response "After checking, we see that we haven't received the return yet.
Please note that we are checking on the returns every 48h, and we will automatically process it within 48h once we have it."
So, despite clear evidence of delivery it seemed that I had wasted the original purchase cost, cost of sending back and purchase of a label for them to send me the replacement strap.
Not exactly 'stellar' service...
However...today my replacement strap arrived!
Quality is obviously not on a par with the authorised dealer, but overall I'm reasonably pleased as it looks and feels pretty good.
So, the issue appears to have been the communication between returns warehouse and distribution. Hence I have amended my original review to give them the benefit of having sorted it out.

I ordered a 20mm x 16mm alligator strap after I was assured by Kim in their "Customer Service" department that that is what would arrive, the one that arrived was 20mm x 18mm which would not fit the deployant buckle for my Ulysse Nardin perpetual calendar watch. Through a couple of interactions with "Kim" in their "customer service" department I tried to get a replacement or refund but I was rebuffed. Also, the strap was stamped "genuine leather", NOT genuine ALLIGATOR. Although their website is impressive, the truth is that their customer service is NOT. I will never order from them again.

Well over a month, no delivery and constant fobbing off about please be patient.

Avoid at all costs. It would have been less pain just to set light to my money.

No sign of a delivery and I'm not hopeful. I should have read the reviews before ordering.

Despite many requests for a refund nothing is forthcoming.

The most shitty product available for aftermarked straps. To make the straps fit, you will need to change to Chinese poor quaility lugs. The rubber is like plastic, and the tools they have is at best garbage. Poor customerservice. Stay away.
