Absolutely outstanding installation Johnny went above and beyond and even when faced with obstacles out of his control he got right on with it and solved it no issues at all 100% be happy to use Johnny again in future and heatable as a service overall

Installation went ahead exact when they said it would. Much cheaper than the other quotes we had. Johnny worked his socks off and left the place looking clean and tidy when he was done. If you are in the north east ask for Johnny, he's great.

The installation was fantastic the guy who fitted it was very knowledgeable and happy to explain anything at any stage of the install. Very happy with everything from contacting heatable to the after sales . Fantastic. And the price was very good around 30 percent lower than the lowest of 4 quotes .

Great from start to finish. Gutters on the day really good. Very tidy job.

It was easy to book, the online tool made it easy to chose an appropriate boiler and they were able to install the next working day despite booking on a bank holiday weekend.
The engineer was great, we’ve had others out and said we need another 5-6k worth of work done to get it fitted. Heatables engineer saw the same issues others had but was able to resolve them there and then without the extra unnecessary work or cost.
Highly recommended.

The Installer that heatable used AC.L.S Installations and maintenance did a fantastic job. It is a neat and tidy install completed by Charlie and Brendan. The system works great and has made a huge difference.

Install was done on time, even though the weather didn't allow any work to be done on the first day.
Work done to high standards, with minimum interruption.
However was a bit of a lack of communication, I was due to have a gateway installed and have been waiting awhile for them to be released. Only got told on the install date that the units have been recalled and will be fitted at a later date(with no extra charge).

Heatable carried out a defective installation that caused significant damage to my property and have refused to take responsibility.
They have repeatedly ignored my emails, refused to answer basic questions and, despite repeated requests, have failed to provide meaningful information about an appropriate Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process.
As Heatable will not engage with me privately, I have little option but to respond publicly, as this appears to be the only way I can get a response from them.
Heatable’s response to my previous review was:
“Thank you for your comments regarding your installation in 2022. As you are aware both our internal team and our insurance providers have investigated your allegations. You have received a number of responses to your claim. We remain committed to providing our customers great service unfortunately we can’t always agree.”
This response is vague and does not address any of the substantive issues I have raised.
It is particularly concerning that Heatable refers to its insurance provider having investigated the matter, rather than properly addressing its own position as the company that sold me the boiler and arranged the installation.
Heatable is also signed up to the Which? Trusted Traders Code of Conduct. Clause 14.2 states:
“Not refer or require the customer to deal directly with subcontractors, manufacturers or an insurance company to resolve the complaint.”
Despite this, I have been directed towards Heatable’s insurer, DWF, rather than Heatable taking responsibility for dealing with my complaint.
I have never argued that Heatable's insurer should determine whether Heatable is liable. That is a matter for Heatable to address directly.
There are still numerous questions Heatable have failed to answer, including:
• Why was the condensate discharge not correctly installed?
• Why was corrosive condensate allowed to discharge onto pipework and timber beneath my kitchen floor?
• Why did this result in corrosion, leaks and significant property damage?
• Why was my property not inspected by Heatable after I reported the damage?
• Why is the Benchmark documentation inaccurate and unsigned?
• What contractual and legal basis does Heatable rely upon for denying responsibility for an installation that I purchased and paid Heatable to arrange?
• Why have Heatable repeatedly directed me towards their insurer rather than dealing with my complaint directly?
• Why have they failed to provide a meaningful ADR route despite my repeated requests?
The issue here is not whether Heatable and I “agree”.
There is extensive evidence concerning what happened. I am simply asking Heatable to explain its position and answer the specific questions I have repeatedly put to them.
Gas Safe Register has now opened a formal case. Trading Standards has escalated the matter to Heatable’s home authority, and the issues concerning the Which? Trusted Traders Code of Conduct and ADR have also been reported to Which? Trusted Traders.
If Heatable believes that any of the above is incorrect, I invite them to identify specifically what they dispute and explain why.
After months of trying to resolve this privately, I would much rather Heatable provide a substantive response to the evidence and the questions raised than another generic statement that “we can’t always agree.”
UPDATE
Unsurprisingly, Heatable have completely ignored this review. They have replied to newer, easier reviews while refusing to address the serious issues raised here. Their silence is deliberate, and it shows how they treat customers once they’ve been paid. Their lack of accountability is unacceptable.
Update 01/09/2026
I see Heatable have now provided their comments below, referring to the correspondence I have received from their insurer. Again - ignoring the fact that by refusing to deal with the issue themselves and passing me on to their insurers, they have breached the Which? Trusted Traders Code of Conduct. Clause 14.2. Their insurers have been provided with photographic evidence of the damage that has been caused and independent reports from Corgi, but they refused to accept the invitation to come out and look at the damage and continue to deny their clients' responsibility.
The way this matter has been handled — from the botched installation, to the property damage, to the increased insurance premiums, to the falsification of documents, to the refusal to answer basic questions, to the breach of the Code of Conduct that you signed up to, to the ignored requests for ADR details, to the contradictory statements — is genuinely disgraceful. Heatable should be ashamed of themselves. And Heatable pride themselves on their customer service???

We just completed a solar and battery install through Heatable.
From the initial system design discussion with Andrew, through to install completion, it was a stress-free and smooth experience. Helios Energy - the team who fitted the battery and panels - really took the time to ensure we were happy with everything, and I appreciated the further support and responsiveness of Anna when I had questions around the export process.
All in all I am very happy I chose Heatable and would certainly recommend.
