This is a great solution for taking my little dog on bike rides. I was initially concerned after reading some of the negative reviews especially about returns however I reached out to Kvisp, had a speedy response back but also did my own research with the help of AI and was very confident the seat would fit. Installation is straightforward despite my cycle needing the A frame adaptor (supplied with the seat). Fitted in less than half an hour. My dog a cavapoochon is very happy in it. My bike is a Liv Amiti E+2.

This dog carrier fits perfectly on my mountain bike and is such a perfect design for letting me carry my furry friend around town and on the trails.

The folks at Kvisp provide excellent customer service. There was an issue with my order so I reached out via email and they responded immediately and fixed the issue. They are friendly and trustworthy and make an excellent product!

My dog weighs 20 lbs, well within the recommended weight limit. While my dog appears to enjoy this dog seat, I do not. His weight adversely affects steering, and the basket is in the way when dismounting. A 30-day return window is not a long enough to decide, especially when the weather is below freezing, so keep this in mind before ordering. It is an expensive mistake.

Inacceptable customer service.

I ordered a dog bike seat for more than €200. Due to personal circumstances, I was only able to test the product two days after the return period had expired. The seat is brand new, completely unused, and unfortunately incompatible with both of my bicycles.

The support agent, Jane, even confirmed this incompatibility herself after reviewing the photos I provided. Despite the fact that I missed the return deadline by only 48 hours, the company showed absolutely no goodwill or willingness to help. Instead, I was advised to sell the brand-new product to my neighbors myself.

What disappointed me even more was that my repeated requests to escalate the matter to a supervisor were ignored. Rather than addressing the issue, the company chose to delay and ultimately stop responding.

For a premium brand with premium pricing, I expected a much higher level of customer care and customer-focused problem solving. Very disappointing experience.

Had to find your own carrier to return a package so the shipping costs was insane. I dont mind covering it myself but if the shop can do some deals with carriers the return costs would be way more acceptable. They also did not specify this is the case in their return policy.
I specifically bought off their own website instead of dealers because I trusted them.

We purchased two dog bicycle seats from this company and are absolutely delighted with them.

We would especially like to highlight the outstanding customer service. We were in contact with Jane, who supported us in a very friendly, prompt, and extremely solution-oriented manner. Our questions were answered immediately, and we promptly received the missing seat cushion.

The dog bicycle seats themselves have also fully met our expectations. The quality is excellent, and our dogs feel very comfortable in them.

Such dedicated customer service is not something you come across every day. Therefore, we can wholeheartedly recommend this company and its products. We would gladly purchase from them again at any time and are incredibly satisfied.

Tried a couple of other pooch carriers before this one which didn't work for us, so having seen the Kvisp method hoped it would work. Took a bit of a punt as it was an international purchase, but it has worked out for us so I'm extremely happy. The install has two options both of which were required for mine and my wife's bikes (ordered a second adaptor), and they work a treat. Install is simple and in accordance with the supplied instructions and aslo very helpful YouTube videos. Only quality issue I have is the small window popped out first time lifted the bucket off the bike and grabbed it there, so be aware of that (managed to refit with no issues), but it does provide valuable sight of my e-bike display. Used it a couple of times now with the pooch and he loves it. A 10kg poodle cross, probably as big as I would want to go, but this is confirmed with the measurements which Kvisp advise as he is just under length and width, and as such very comfortable sitting in the seat. 4km with him today in it and he was loving it. Lastly, I asked a question about delivery before I bought it as needed it fairly quickly before heading off on holiday, the response from Kvisp was super quick but 10-15 days (NL to UK) but FedEx said 5 working days, so I went for it and Fedex were correct. Hope this was helpful and thanks to Kvisp for a great bit of kit.

I absolutely love this dog bike seat from Kvisp! My dachshund enjoys every ride because she has a great view and can comfortably look around while still being safely secured with the harness attachment. She feels relaxed and excited every time we ride the bike together.
Another huge plus is that I still have my regular bike basket free for groceries, bags, and everyday errands, which makes this setup super practical. The quality feels sturdy, safe, and well thought out. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to bike comfortably and safely with their dog. Delivery was super quick and customer service is top-notch!

I had a wonderful experience with Kvisp, we love the product and had an issue with it. After contacting them, the customer service was very responsive, friendly and even though the issue wasn’t part of their warranty they offered to send a replacement. Excellent customer service

Unfrotuantely this seat doesn’t fit bikes that are size S and M in frame and have a low handlebar. They give u an adapter for it, but with that the seat goes all the way until my own seat and there is no space for me to sit on it. It is unsafe and impossible to know in advance because they didnt provide that info online. Then u have to pay for shipping back, and they say if there are scratches u have to pay for it. I already got a used /tried seat with the mountain elements having scratches, so i don’t know if they sell it back how do they keep track who scratched it? It’s complete bullshit.

The Kvisp team have proven themselves to be both kind and considerate group! I recently purchased a seat and seat cushion but I didn’t apply the time-sensitive promo code correctly that I had signed up for. A representative reached out to me to note that my code would expire soon and when they learned I had already made my purchase they were kind enough to refund me the amount that I would have saved with the promotion!

Jane was very helpful on checking various bikes that we own to see which ones would accept the mounting of the seat. Worked out perfectly on my main commuter bike ( and hopefully soon will be able to figure a way to mate an additional unit to my wife’s Specialized Como e-bike. Puppies both enjoyed their inaugural rides. My wife and I first noticed several riders using the Kvisp seats on a vacation in Scotland a year or so back and I was finally able to locate you guys and order one. We likely also saw some during two bike/barge trips to the Netherlands (southern and then northern portions of the country), but weren’t able to focus on them ( with the huge number of cyclists around). Thanks so much for the help in assuring fit and for the helpful videos on social media (Instagram, YouTube). Will soon pedal the Galveston Seawall with the puppies.

The service and product of this company are utterly bad. Wont recommend them at all, you are going to pay a lot of money of a flawed product and no assistance, despite the price they would charge a great amount for imposing their courier and dont give a damn about it reaching you on time.

I was very excited to find this product. It looked sleek and from my research would allow me to easily bring my pup with me on my bike rides. Prior to purchase I emailed Kvisp and told them the exact model of my bike and they said the product would fit and sent me the instruction manual. Upon reviewing the video sent to me I knew I would struggle with install and planned to go directly to my mechanic who is an expert on my make and model of bike. I was happy to pay the money as I felt it was a good long term investment on my bike enjoyment.

I decided to purchase as they had a 30-day return window and they said it would work with my model of bike.

When the Kvisp bucket arrived I took the product to my mechanic as I knew the install would be complicated and wanted to ensure it was installed correctly for the safety of my dog and myself.

My mechanic advised me that if I had this product installed on my bike it would compromise the safety of my bike and I would have to sign a waiver in order for him to install it and it would void the warranty on my bike. My bike is brand new and the last thing I want is to void my warranty.

It never crossed my mind that the product would void the warranty on my bike and would compromise the safety of my riding to the point I would have to sign a waiver to assume the risk.

I reached out to Kvisp right away for a refund and their email back was to guide me through the install as it’s “not always obvious” how to complete the install.
Given this is a safety matter I have requested a full refund where they cover the full cost to return, shipping & customs, at the time of writing this I am waiting to hear back…but based on my post-purchase research and the email o received from them I am not optimistic I will be successful.

As another poster on trustpilot said, this product is borderline fraudulent.

Absolutely worthless customer service!
Before purchase, I sent them photos of my bike and handlebar, and according to them, the seat would fit perfectly.
Well… it didn’t!
Afterwards, they stopped replying to my emails, and in the end you can only return it at your own expense. On top of that, they already state in advance that if there’s even the slightest scratch, you won’t get your money back! Promising, isn’t it?

Their return policy is outrageous, especially considering I sent photos and asked specific questions beforehand before deciding to buy!

I even had to spend extra money asking my Belgian bike mechanic for help.

If only I had read the reviews on Trustpilot before buying online. There, you find exactly the same complaints about their return policy!!

You might as well sell the seat second-hand — you’d be better off!

Very surprised to see these unfavorable reviews as we have the opposite experience. We are very happy with the Kvisp seat — our miniature dachshund now joins us on family bike rides.

The quality is fine, installing at the bike wasn’t difficult at all, and we like the green seat. The seat doesn't compromise the bike's ride or steering, and I love having Hedwig close to me. If there is one thing to improve, it's making the Kvisp angle adjustable. On our bike, the seat is slightly tilted forward.

We did not need to contact Kvisp, hence, can’t say anything about their return service.
