I never ever thought I would be able to stop vaping! The dam thing was either constantly in my hand or in my mouth. I was also on a high nicotine juice! I’m now 4 weeks vape free with Hum & importantly nicotine free. It is helping me tremendously with the hand to mouth habit, but even after only 4 weeks I’m starting to break that habit too & I really don’t feel like I’m about to have a massive anxiety attack if I do t have it with me. It a massive thumbs up from me.

Ordered on the 13th Aug, and it arrived on the 20th, so can't complain on the delivery front. However, I didn't realise until after I'd purchased that it was being shipped from China, which was surprising since I was under the assumption they were a UK-based company (not that the China shipping is a problem; I dislike the connotations of those complaints. Check the labels of the things you use most in your day to day and you'll probably find a "made in China" somewhere. Just saying).

The device(? stick? inhaler? what are we calling it?) is packaged well, with a neat little instruction booklet. It does feel weighty and well-made.

The main issue I have unfortunately had is with the scent cores themselves. I ordered coffee, lemon and mint. After a day of using the Mint one I went to bed with the worst stomachache I've had in years (nothing else changed in my routine, for context). So I stopped using it for a few days, then picked it up again. Same problem happened. I switched to Lemon and have had no issues with that one, but the only caveat is it's not very nice, has a very strong chemical aftertaste. No report on the coffee one as of yet as haven't tried it.

Their website does have a helpful "what's inside" page that breaks down what's actually in the scent cores, and there's nothing seemingly nefarious there. It's possible that I just had a bad Mint batch, or it just doesn't agree with my body.

Can't comment on customer service experiences as haven't needed to contact them for anything.

So, four stars, all in all. I don't think it's a bad product, and it's definitely helping me to steer away from bad habits. Knocking off a star simply because Mint and I clearly do not get along.

so I tried the hum and I only used it for a day because it doesn't have any resistance however minor the aperture is opened. the pods are fine, the service was good just not getting on with the product

At first I was dubious, my friends and family keep asking me how it is, at first I think its terrible because its not the same as a vape but then I realise it is working, almost 2 weeks now and except for the odd strong craving i’m doing okay.

You need strong willpower as well.

Delivery was ok, around 10 days from order. But it did come from China.
After doing some research I found the exact product from china including the spice sticks for around £7 rather than £40….
Even less if you bulk order and you can add your logo! Packaging etc is identical.
Hum will try and say its not the same, however even the packing off the spice sticks is identical down to a tee.
I would’ve rated it a lot higher if it wasn’t just a drop shipped overpriced product

Hüm, for me, has plugged that gap which other products have failed to do so. My story is one of switching from smoking to vaping and then not being able to stop vaping and my nicotine consumption skyrocketing whenever life gets tricky. I can reduce nicotine strength over and over again but it’s the weight, feel and comfort of knowing that there is something in my hand, plus the very specific draw and the need to feel something at the back of my throat that has been part of my life and habits for thirty years. Nothing came close to replicating that.

For me, Hüm has come alongside more well known approaches to stopping vaping - listening to Allen Carr and patches to assist withdrawal have been important - but it is the first time I’ve honestly believed I can do this long term.

I first tested the Hüm on a 6hr drive home from a holiday in Cornwall. Driving is one of my most habitual times to vape. It worked! I tried various flavours when ordering my starter pack - mango to replicate my favourite vape juice and mint in the hope of feeling that kick at the back of the throat. It isn’t the exact same as a vape “kick” but the minty flavours definitely helped me most at the start and it has been amazing how quickly the flavour feels stronger and stronger as the effects of the vape use on my throat wore off. The flavoured cartridges last as long as everyone say they do, even if you are using the Hüm stick frequently.

The stick itself is beautiful and the heavy weight at one end is cleverly similar to that of a vape. The easy twist action to alter the draw strength is great and also offers a helpful thing to fiddle with if, like me, you need to.

I was hopeful about the Hüm and ready to stop vaping, but it is one of those rare products that truly does what it says it can, nothing more and nothing less. I wouldn’t be feeling this optimistic about long term freedom from vaping and nicotine for the first time ever if it wasn’t for this clever and well crafted piece of kit. I’m not one to write reviews often, but this warrants one. If you really want to stop but keep feeling lost without that habitual action, then go for it with this purchase.

I couldn’t get on with this device and asked to return and is in perfect condition.
That’s was fine until I realised how much tracked postage was( requested by them) to return to France and of course no guarantee they would refund.
I informed them of this.
They did kindly offer to partially refund me, but that has not happened and no further contact from the company.
Very disappointed with this company and lack of customer support.

Paid extra for Protected Delivery — still no parcel or refund

I placed an order with HÜM for **£83.72**, including an additional charge for **Protected Delivery**.

Royal Mail later marked the parcel as delivered on **18 July 2026**, but I never received it. It was not handed to me or anyone at my address, there was no delivery card, and no parcel was left in an authorised safe place.

I contacted HÜM immediately and requested a refund. Initially I was told to contact Royal Mail myself, despite my purchase being with HÜM. After I challenged this, HÜM asked me to provide **photo ID and a signed declaration of non-receipt**, which I supplied.

HÜM then confirmed they had opened an investigation with Royal Mail. I repeatedly chased for an update, including asking for the Royal Mail claim reference, submission date and current status. I was never provided with those details.

HÜM later confirmed in writing that **Royal Mail still had not provided them with an outcome to their investigation**, yet I was still left without either my order or my £83.72.

I then raised the matter through PayPal. PayPal rejected the claim because the tracking showed “delivered”, despite the delivery itself still being disputed and HÜM having acknowledged that Royal Mail's investigation had not produced an outcome.

Once the PayPal case closed, HÜM told me they could no longer refund me while that dispute was open. I therefore gave them **one final opportunity to refund me after the PayPal case had finished**, with a clear 48-hour deadline.

They did not even respond.

I have now been forced to escalate the £83.72 transaction to my credit-card provider as a **goods-not-received chargeback**.

What disappoints me most is that I specifically paid extra for something called **“Protected Delivery”**, yet when the delivery actually went wrong I ended up having to provide identification, sign a declaration, repeatedly chase the company, go through PayPal and ultimately involve my credit-card provider just to try to recover my own money.

Based on how my missing-delivery claim has been handled, I could not recommend HÜM.

I have been using Hüm for a few weeks now. The first few days were difficult to not pick up a vape again, however, after a week I do feel the craving reducing. The device and flavours work well in mimicking vaping. Some of the flavours are not quite strong enough or they lose flavour quicker than others but there is plenty to choose from to pick a few favourites after you've tried them all.
Since using Hüm I have had one relapse where I did have a few puffs of an Ecig but recently about 3 weeks in I do not feel the need to pick up the vape and even find myself picking up the Hüm device less as well so I definitely recommend giving it a go to quit vaping.

Hum is really great. I used it for around 2 weeks and now only reach for it very occasionally. For me it definitely does what it says on the tin.

was sceptical after reading the reviews but am surprised by the results on it a week now and im only using my normal vape twice a day and hope to reduce this to zero over next couple of weeks .the main thing about the hum is you have to want to stop vaping otherwise you will fail ive been a smoker/vaper for the last 40 years and cant believe the progress ive made

I am writing to express my frustration regarding my recent order for a Hum and spare filters.

I monitored the tracking information closely, which indicated the package reached my local town but was then immediately marked as being returned to sender. No delivery attempt was made.

I contacted your support team to find out why this happened, but I never received a response. Because of this lack of communication, I have requested a chargeback from my bank to recover my funds.

HUM was delivered very quickly and packaged so no issues with any defects. Purchased 1 set originally and then purchased both sets so i can always use HUM whenever i needed to smoke.

Really happy. Not touched a vape for 3 weeks. Used the hüm device as usual for the first week and I've already started forgetting to use it or not taking it with me. Turns out its could quit all along.... just needed a little help

I've smoked for over 20 years, tried all sorts to stop. Vapes/Gum/Cold Turkey and nothing has worked. I have ADHD and when I'm out, my hands are fidgety and I keep going back to smoking. That is until I found HUM online.

I'm a 20 a day smoker, and within 1 day I went down to 2. I still needed 2 smokes a day to keep my nicotine cravings at bay, but the physical movement and keeping my hands busy is perfectly kept at bay with HUM.

I've read loads of reviews and I think some of the negative sides need to be discussed a bit more.

Price:
I've to date spent £200 - 6 HUM sticks (3 for me. - 3 for my work colleagues) as I didn't want to quit alone. My apprentice smoking in the van as I tried to quit wasn't going to be helpful. So we've all done it together. For that money it also came with 6 months worth of cores. So the maths = £200/4/6= Works out a little under a tenner a month each. I appreciate buying in bulk saved me loads. But I was on £200 worth a tobacco alone just me before this. So it seems a worthy investment.

The flavours are weak / can't taste much. Well, whilst you're first stopping I'd choose the coffee / strawberry flavours. As some are stronger than others. A month on, I can now taste all flavours much clearer. If it keeps going like this, I'm worried they will be too strong. My taste buds are returning.

Customer service: I've found it spot on. I lost my first HUM after giving multiple away to friends, and they sorted me a code to get a replacement at a heavily discounted cost. I bought it 3 days ago and I have shipping information that's it's on its way already. Delivery is slow. 1-2 weeks. But if you're organised and get an order in when you're down to 2-3 core packs left, you have ample time.

The device itself is well made, and I've had a positive experience with it helping with cravings. However, the experience with Hum has been very poor. They keep sending items out incorrectly addressed, resulting in Royal Mail being unable to deliver them. They have said they've not received the returns, despite Royal Mail having said they've delivered them. Even if all the deliveries had gone smoothly, the time scale is ridiculous. It takes them at least a month to deliver on an order, if not more. And when you're trying to battle cravings, that's the last thing you need! Honestly save yourself the hassle and just go for the tried and tested nicotine replacement therapies.

What a total rip off

Customer service is quick to respond, incredibly polite as well. I have nothing but good things to say as someone who was skeptical initially, but i took a chance because of the money back guarantee. Everything was fair, well explained, and successful. This is a great company with a real passion to help their customers. I know this review sounds paid, but it's not i am a real person who purchased these devices with the right intentions, this is a great company that is very fair. As long as you're fair to them and read terms and conditions and follow them properly they're very good to you. Great purchase, great experience, I would give more stars if I could! 10/5 stars!
