Great surprise

The communication through the portal, the payments, document sharing are all very convenient.

Everything was going very well until the airline canceled the flight and Evaneos offered poor and unaffordable alternatives. If we wanted the same flight, they asked for an additional €1,800, so we canceled. Then they applied a penalty of more than €2,000, which, curiously, included the cost of the flight tickets! They also increased the price of the tickets by 10%, mind-blowing. And on top of that, €170 in administrative fees... they have no shame.

Extremely Disappointed
Extremely Disappointed – Zero Accountability After a Failed Trip
We booked a December trip to Tromsø through this agency, including hotel and several tours, trusting their guidance — even opting for the travel insurance they recommended. Unfortunately, that trust was completely misplaced.
Our flight from Madrid to Tromsø was unable to land due to severe weather. The pilot attempted two terrifying landings before diverting the plane to Bodø, a town 500km away. At that point, the airline gave us two options: disembark with no access to checked luggage (in our case, all our winter gear), or return to Madrid and hope for a rescheduled flight the next day — which never happened.
Left with no safe or realistic way to reach Tromsø in time for the trip, we contacted the travel agency immediately, explained the situation, and were told to speak directly with the insurance provider they had recommended. We followed their advice and submitted all the paperwork, only to be told weeks later that nothing would be reimbursed because the flight technically left Spain — even though it never reached its destination and returned the same day.
The agency washed their hands of the entire matter. No partial refunds, no gesture of goodwill, no advocacy on our behalf. Not even the portion they presumably kept as a commission was returned. We had to rely on our credit card’s travel protection to recover anything.
Bottom line: this agency failed to support us when it truly mattered. They offered zero solutions, zero flexibility, and showed no interest in helping resolve a situation completely out of our control. I strongly caution anyone considering booking with them — especially if you’re counting on them to stand behind the services they sell.

Our trip to Lapland would not have been the same without Anne, from the local agency. She cared from the very first moment we contacted her agency.
Anne's patience, attention to all details and her natural psychological approach to the customers make her a BIG professional, if not the biggest.
Our priority was to hunt auroras and she planned the trip according to our request. Anne perfectly understood our family needs and looked for the perfect accomodation to stay at.
Anne would be caring about our questions and doubts all the time. All transfers and transportation were perfectly arranged and coordinated.
Some examples of Anne's involvement would be:
Our flight was delayed and the local agency made the first shopping of groceries for us. They were always available and very responsive.
Anne called us during her vacation to inform us that there was a strong aurora activity in the area where we were staying. We really appreciated that.
No doubt "Anne made it possible"
Anne has an exhaustive knowledge of Lapland and she filled our trips with many stories. Uncomfortable silences are not allowed with Anne.

Smooth organized and superb experience during trip
It was our first time using Evaneos. For our trip to Poland from 11 to 17 October our experience was beyond expectation mainly thanks to the local agency contracted by Evaneos. Cannot recommend Magdalena and her agency in Krakow enough.

Nice trip to Tamil Nadu (India)
We have just come back from a trip in Tamil Nadu (India). Our experience with Evaneos and with Travel XS has been really good. We wanted a very specific trip and organization because we had a friends wedding in the middle of the trip. They knew how to adapt the trip to our needs very well.
The drivers we had were really professional, punctual and clean, as well as friendly.
Our communication with the travel agent was clear and he always answered very quickly to our questions or needs.
The guides were amazing, the trips, the temples... we are really happy with this experience and for sure we will use Evaneos' services in our future trips.
