No quibbling about wanting to cancel my membership because I had made a mistake. I would have given 5 stars but felt I was hanging on to the phone for a bit too long.

Application was smooth with competitive pricing. Let’s hope I don’t have to have a breakdown experience!

Very professional. They rang back with recovery vehicle details then recovery vehicle driver rang. Car was picked up in 20 minutes. Delivered car in good order to mechanic

Had to call them on 2 occasions,
one for a flat battery - they would only take the car to a garage, not jump start the car... "No one had the knowledge to jump start the vehicle"
On the second occasion, i needed to have the car taken to a garage 24 miles away for a major repair and they refused to take the car further than 10 miles!
A waste of money.

representative on the phone couldn't have been more helpful and the person who came to start my car was there within half an hour of the call. I have never had to use my breakdown cover with you and this experience was very positive.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
I decided to go with Emergency Assist due to the price which was very attractive. First year no issues so didn't need to use, then the 2nd year my policy gets automatically renewed without so much as an email to let me know renewal price or anything. So I think to myself well I may as well continue with them for another year...BIG MISTAKE.
Well I had a breakdown and this company were absolutely no use. In fact I couldn't even get through on the phone line to speak to anyone! The call options kept taking me around in circles and then cut off. Tried selecting different options and the number just rings and rings and rings.
After a very frustrating 30mins of trying to contact them I actually give up and call the AA and pay extra just get someone out to me. Just to add the AA had someone out to me within 20mins of picking up the phone to them!
Thank god I wasn't broken down on the hard shoulder with children in the car that's all I can say! Luckily I was in a car park in a safe situation. Emergency Assist are basically scammers. How can a company claim to be there in an emergency and then have no one answering the phone?? Phone Options that don't work?? No app, nothing, absolutely no way to speak to anyone in an emergency!
Needless to say I'd rather pay the £10pm to the AA for peace of mind and I suggest you do too.
DO NOT BUY BREAKDOWN COVER FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY UNLESS YOU ARE FINE PUTTING YOUR LIFE AT RISK.

Shocking. Been with them for years. First call out . Electrical fault. Lights wouldn't turn off hence a flat battery. Rang and they said they wouldn't come out as an electrical had drained battery. Stuck in middle of nowhere. Absolutely shocking !!!

I am with this company for 10 years. Within this period though I had to call only 3 times initially, they are very trustworthy and staff took recovery action very quickly. They have agent almost every where. I recommend this company based on my experience.

First phone and reported breakdown at 10.20 am to have received multiple text messages saying ETA for recovery/ attendance will be 45 minutes, 1 hour and the 1.5 hours and then 45 minutes etc etc to finally attended to by 4.45pm. Utter disgrace in terms of communication and the outsourced breakdown recovery agents!!

Perfect service from calling for recovery assistance for my son at 05:45am to when the recovery vehicle arrived shortly after. I received calls keeping me updated. The driver from Beacon recovery was exceptionally pleasant and helpful, he is a credit to his company, as are the staff at Emergency Assist. I will definitely recommend them in the future 100%

Emergency Assist are a terrible company for breakdown cover. I insured my bike with a full policy including £1000 parts and labour cover. The first time I rang, I was told the bike can only be recovered to a garage within a 25 mile radius. The garage I bought the bike from, which was under warranty, was 50 miles away. So I said I'd get it there myself. They done nothing for me. I got the issue fixed. I've rang up today, and been told that because I rang in previously, and they knew about the fault, (not that they done anything regarding getting the bike recovered), but about a totally different fault, it would cost me £125 to come out and then, so much per mile, to a garage of my choice. I told them the fault was the battery, so they told me the battery was not covered under the warranty, even though I had £1000 parts and labour cover. They are a waste of money in my opinion

The mechanic that arrived was very courteous and professional, he was also very friendly.
He was very thorough, making sure my car was strapped onto his recovery truck.
