It would be helpful if one could translate. The search with statutory insurance rarely works as it shows also all doctors only serving private insurance. And when you go back from a specific doctor profile, the filters from your search are gone

Hassle free appointment setup.

A specific doctor—I had an appointment, and on the day of the appointment, it popped up in the app that it was canceled. But, I was unable to contact the doctor, and now they say that I did not come to the appointment.

App has lot of bugs. I have to logout and in several times just to check my appointment once. Appointment pages dont lo no English language translation totally why booking appointments.

As expat in Germany make my life easier. No need to call or email make my life easier. No need to call or email for appointment. Reminder pops up on the phone and that's week and day before. You can also manage your family like suppose and kids' health with this app easily.

Terrible system. I booked my appointment online but can't cancel it online - they force you to call instead. If I can book online, I should be able to cancel online. Having to make an international call just to cancel is completely unacceptable and outdated. Would not recommend.

Excellent and hassle free way to book online appoinmnet. It"s the best possible app to get rid of tradational German phone call's appoinment. Covinient and always helps to track and reminder you upcoming appointment.

Doctolib is a lifesaver!! For people like me who are not fluent German speakers, it helps book appointments with zero friction. And the best part is the option to get notified if an earlier appointment becomes available- this one has got me so many appointments even on an urgent basis. Thank you for doing such an amazing job, and for solving a big problem for patients.

My wife made an appointment for me and gave the office her number. Doctolib refuses to let me create an account without using her phone number which is already associated with her doctolib account.

Further doctolib refuses to grant you access to medical records unless the email you use matches exactly what you gave to the healthcare provider. Every provider gets a different tracking email address which helps identify data leaks and allows me to selectively block spam. In doctolib world, I need a different account for each email...which is fine (I have a password manager)... but they also require a phone number which unfortunately I don't have a different one for each provider. Doctolib refuses to let me use the same phone number for multiple accounts.

So I will stop giving providers my phone number and see if that resolves the issue in the future.

The bigger issue is that doctolib is relying on email address and phone number as a security mechanism to gain access to my medical records. Both are inherently insecure. Much email sent over the internet is sent unencrypted and can be intercepted and read or modified by third parties. Telephones are the same with many documented SS7 vunerabilities and SIM swapping.

It would be much better if doctolib enabled providers to give out a one-time token to gain access to their records via doctolib. e.g. my hausarzt can generate and give me a one-time code/QR that can be scanned by doctolib app to to link my doctolib account to my hausarzt's records for me. Who better to verify my identity to access my Hausarzt records for me than my Hausarzt?

Emails and phone numbers change and are insecure. Doctolib should not be relying on these things or making assumptions that everyone has a single email address. It is bad user experience for people like me, and worse it is a bad security decision.

I hope Doctolib's developers see this review and take my feedback seriously. Great idea to make medical records more accessible but this needs to be improved.

As an English-speaking immigrant in Germany, I would like to see an English menu under the category as well. The app and webpage are in English until I book an appointment. However, when I select the category menu, it switches to German, which I do not understand.
