Do not buy from this company. They're not based in the UK or Europe and if you want to return an item (which I did because the size large dress I ordered wouldn't have fitted a barbie doll) - they tell you you have to send it back to China at your expense - which was £20! I contacted my bank and requested a chargeback payment and they said they're getting loads of similar calls about this company and would file the dispute and refund the money to me.

If I could give half a star I would.

Absolutely awful please do not order from this site it comes from china despite its name and is cheap nasty material something you’d pay £5 on Temu for and it cost me £35 and you have to pay return costs back to china absolute rip off company!

This company claims to be based in London; however, I have been waiting for my delivery for over two weeks, and it is still in transit. It is obvious that the item is being shipped from China. I also found the exact same dress on the Shein website for £7.99, which suggests it is the same product from the same source, being sold at five times the price. I attempted to cancel my order and request a full refund, but my request was denied.

Do not touch this company - they are scammers!
Nothing to indicate when ordering that they are in China.
The clothing is rubbish and you will never get your money refunded or be able to return the goods unless you want to pay extortionate postal fees to China and then you will be fobbed of with every excuse going.
Really regret having any contact - it is now in the hands of my credit card company fraud dept.

Please please do not fall for this awful site , the quality of the dress I purchased is horrendous and is nothing at all like advertised. Then of course you need to return as it's just awful. You are the left paying over 30.00 in charges. Total rip off . They claim to be in a London but surprise suprise you have to return to China . Please do not fall for this like I have

I wished I had read the reviews, the items were so cheap and nasty I tried to return them. They don't want you to return them they want to give you a credit, well i would never buy anything from them ever! I then sent it back to their London shop which they refused to take in and now the parcel is lost and they did not mention that I had to send it to China as I'm just reading from others comments, so now no refund! Disgusting

What a palaver to return an unwanted item. It took two weeks to receive it. The material was so cheap and it would never have retailed at £70 which was stated on the website. I have had to take pictures of the item and say why I wish to return it. I have also had emails offering me a discount. Now I have to pay postage to return item to China which wasn’t mentioned when ordering. Terrible company

I ordered dungarees which did not fit well at all and I requested a refund and how to return the item. I received an email detailing the steps involved to return the item to China, the cost of which was more than the original cost of the dungarees. Buyers beware!

I ordered a pair of trousers which were much too large . When it came to return them they advised that I had to send them back to China at my own expense.
Their warehouse is in England and there is nothing on their website to say that that returns had to sent back to China

Do not whatever you do buy from this company. I foolishly did not check their reviews. I bought two dresses that were far too small so asked for a return label . They avoided sending the label and then said I’d have to pay for the returns. I thought they were based in London and expected them to send a return label then take the cost of my return out of the refund.
Instead they sent an address for china which I will have to pax taxes for too.

Really long wait. Dress was then a cheap and nasty fabric. Would never order from here again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The company is genuinely a scam site. I ordered a dress for my graduation first it got delivered to the wrong house and they weren't going to give me a refund or a replacement for until I got proof from the delivery company despite this being their fault not mine and them having pictures of it being sent to a DIFFERENT house. Then when i tracked this house down on Google maps from the delivery photos which was on a completely different street I opened the parcel and tbe quality is absolutely atrocious, like you couldn't wear it out the house it's see-through, cheap and looks like it's been made by a child - so I emailed again asking to do a return, they said because there is nothing wrong with tbe quality of the item I have to pay for the return. The dress is £50!! I should not have to pay to return an awful item. Company is a scam, customer service is atrocious - NEVER order from here ever.

I wouldn’t advise buying from this company.
I ordered a pair of boots which were too big, the company are now making it very difficult to return them. Return fees are also unnecessarily high at £20, be warned.

Do not use this supplier. It is a Chinese company masquerading as British. A scam company in my opinion.
I bought a £33 pair of shoes from this supplier but they did not fit. The depth between the top of the shoe and the footbed was far too narrow to fit my foot. I struggle to think that anyone could slide their foot into that narrow gap.
Returns had been advertised as easy. I requested a refund. Between 8-14 June numerous emails were exchanged. Each time I repeated my request of a refund. Each time I was fobbed off. All delaying tactics!
I was offered another pair of the shoes in a larger size, then a 25% refund and I could keep the shoes, followed by another offer of a 40% refund made as a one time offer exception for my order. Again I could keep the shoes. What good are they? I still hadn’t been provided with a return address.
I did some research and sure enough Grace and Jess London proved to be a Chinese company. By this time I was 8 days into the 30 day returns window. I would also have to pay the return postage to China - £25! In the end I accepted a 40% refund.
Something was better than nothing but it has left a bitter taste.

Ordered a pair of orthopaedic sandals, what a joke. Took ages to arrive from China, made from cheap plastic, giving off fumes, did not fit, way too short. Back and forth emails for weeks, in the end I accepted their offer of 50% refund as it was just making me angry. Don't have anything to do with them

Bought the satin wrap dress and wore it to a birthday dinner. Got compliments all night. The quality is there, it feels luxurious and fits perfectly. Super fast delivery and packaged so nicely I felt bad throwing the box away. Grace & Jess London is the real deal.

Very disappointed in the whole experience. Spent a lot of money on 3 pairs of shoes for work. Took nearly 4 weeks to arrive and when they finally did, the standard and quality of the products was shocking. The colours, design, workmanship and fit were all completely wrong. Way too small for my usual size 6 shoe. Now in an email back and fore where thet ask for photos to review etc. I just want my money back! Emails are sent outside UK normal working day times and I believe items are flown over from abroad.None of this is transparent on their website. In addition, the photos on the website are nothing like the real thing.
I didn't read the reviews prior to ordering (note to self), but I certainly will not be buying from here again and I recommend that no one else does. Since the emails of me asking where the product was (over 2 weeks from ordering) and prompting me to look at reviews I note that some "good" reviews have now popped up which were not there before so I highly doubt thay the positive reviews are authentic. If I do not receive my refund then.... trading standards...
No option to leave no stars unfortunately, but wanted to warn people before making the same mistake I did.

Update 26/6/2026...I have demanded a return address and reported to trading standards. It is a room on a business park in China. Have to pay own return funds and I am doing on principle to see what happens. Have reported to trading standards.

Grace & Jess London has such a good eye for design. Everything looks cohesive and wearable rather than trying too hard. My order arrived within two days and was packaged really nicely. Love it.
