The actual program works great however they will not let you cancel. I have mulitple emails from them confirming they cancelled my account and I wouldn't be charged again. However they continue to charge over and over again. Had to report my card stolen and dispute the charge.

Do not trust the company.

I tested several English texts. Some were entirely AI-generated, some were partially AI-generated, and some were written entirely from scratch by me (I should point out that English is my second language). Every single text was flagged as 100% AI-generated! That's extremely concerning, particularly because many teachers I know rely on detection tools like this to support their suspicions that a student's work is not entirely their own. Falsely accusing someone of using AI to write an assignment is unacceptable on all levels.

There's a little something called accountability. If a detection algorithm produces results this unreliable, GPTZero should be taken offline until the system actually works as intended.

PS! I even tested with this exact review for fun, and the tool claimed it was partially AI. Well, at least it wasn't 100% AI, which is comforting. Not.

Software worked as promised, it gave me great suggestions for my writing and the support team was really helpful when it came time to cancel.

Absolutely the worst AI detector around. I put in a children's book I wrote in the 1970s and it's telling me it's 100% AI! Don't waste your time or money on this lousy program. Also, put in Dr. Suess and it comes back as AI as well.

Seems to be a scam

They charged me over €150, I don’t have an account and any trial period was cancelled on time. Reported them to my credit card company and blocked my card.

This website is crimeful! How? The system doesnt take in consideration about copy right laws! What ever permision! It just does what it must! The agent needs justification to know whats copy right and on what/which document it can go arounf! This leads to crimes cause no restriction. Of course it makes the website more attractive too but on the wrong path.

They combine the least accurate tool on the market with the absolutely worst support. In fact it's not short of a scam, I got overcharged by 60Euros (which is very easy to verify from their backend) but all I get from the support is gaslighting.. Do no put your credit card in this thing there are many better alternatives out there

This is probably one of the worst AI checkers I have utilized throughout my entire academic life. Not only does it constantly suffer from severe lag, inaccuracies, and intangibility, but it also actively punishes authentic students by weaponizing flawed metrics against honest, hard-earned writing.

My natural academic writing style is constantly being misidentified as AI-generated, which proves this software is unreliable and should be abolished.

I had a highly unsatisfactory experience with the cancellation process for my subscription. It was incredibly difficult to navigate, and I ended up losing a significant amount of money. When I reached out to customer service to express my concerns, I received a response that was both cold and unhelpful ,no apologies or accountability were offered. I definitely do not recommend this website to anyone.

Additionally, the website itself was misleading, highlighting incorrect information and providing poor feedback. I attempted to share my own feedback, but it felt like a complete waste of my time. Overall, I'm very disappointed.

Always says 100% AI generated even when it is not. It will always say it is AI generated unless it's written by an elementary schooler.

Unreliable, it simply throws guesses with high confidence and it's often wrong, it's useless when you can expect the writer to be better than an elementary school child.

Said my essay was 100% paraphrased AI even though I spent literal days writing it. Ridiculous, could NEVER recommend.

The product is dysfunctional. I used it on a paper written 10 years ago and it turned out to be 80% AI. Plus the miserable way you can't cancel your subscription.

I wanted proof of my writing. Tell me why any piece of formal writing gets flagged as 100% AI, even when the typing report shows 100% human input. This is hurtful to writers and not helpful in any way. Good grammar does not equal AI writing.

I ended up wasting my entire day just trying to figure out why my content was flagged as AI-written.
