Customer services is atrocious would…

Customer services is atrocious would give zero stars if I could. Sent 3 emails and no response so have sent another one as follows: I have been waiting for more than a month for a response. No wonder your company is struggling cost wise when you can't even bother to respond to customers. All I want is to reinstate the app so I can find out what my battery percentage is and what the house is using solar wise. How difficult is it to respond? Clearly very difficult for you.  I am deeply disappointed with your services and if you think I would pay for it in the future think again.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service, you can report something an they just ignore you. the app is terrible, for example, it will say you are sending energy to the mains and the battery, but the battery amount is hardly anything. it will show energy running from the battery to the mains, when it shouldnt. they have gone bankrupt as a company.. i wouldn't buy another system from them.

Have a faulty battery

Have a faulty battery, agreed to send us out a replacement and it has never arrived. Obviously hasn't helped they have gone into administration! Can't get hold of anyone and the wholesaler who originally sold the installer the battery is refusing to help even though we have emails etc from Givenergy to say we can have a new battery.

Dead storage battery, no response to email, support line hangs up

Trying to get a response about my dead storage battery since April 28th (it's 18th May now). The battery has been offline for many months but I only noticed in April.

No reply to my multiple support emails beyond the first "we will get back to you" auto-reply, and when I ring the helpline the system hangs up on me.

The battery had issues in the past (when the system was new and I was religously reading their weekly emails and reviewing dashboards) and back then someone was able to remotely fix the issue. This time, unfortunately, I'm only getting crickets.

Based on this experience and the other recent reviews I'm now worried I spent quite a bit of money on unuseable tech. I will continue to update this review over time.

Impossible to get hold of

Impossible to get hold of! Trying to take over the ownership of my Solar Battery since my partner moved out and whilst my emails have been acknowledged and given a reference I have been simply ignored from there. There is a fault with the battery, but impossible to resolve! Trying to call them is also impossible. Cut off multiple times and then left ringing endlessly. Absolutely shocking company who clearly don't care about customers once they have your money!! Avoid wherever possible!!!

Horrible

They have changed their portal overnight and suddenly announced it to customers. It's completely unworkable. Impossible to sign in now and check our details. Have tried and tried. There is (of course) no customer service. Just a useless bot. Avoid.

Rarely works

The app I use to monitor and control my solar system rarely works with any consistency or reliability, so I am unable to track my usage or what I am saving, the whole system seems to be held together with spit, duct tape, happy thoughts and excuses.
Can you imagine if this app and its reliabilty were a car!? And you needed it to get to work, would you buy it? No!?
So id advise the same when it comes to GivEnergy, will it work when you need it to...... I'll leave the answer with you to decide

I now await the company Rhetoric response to this message from the company handbook telling me how valued I am as a customer, and how service for the is their TOP priority ....... ha!

Worst company

Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with.

Pushed a software update that caused my battery to start charging from the grid making my solar output near useless.

Contacted customer service to find out how to disable it, sent 18th of March still no response as of 22nd April.

However I was sent a message telling me they are going to start charging a monthly subscription, glad to see they have their priorities in order.

Genuinely the worst customer support service in the World! Phone number constantly cut off, email , pledged together back in reasonable time - 4 days later nothing, ring again even as an installer and cuts off. Cannot work how to re log in to my system.. Great kit , awful company

Avoid - poor product and no customer support

Systems is failing and customer contact impossible to reach. The battery appears to have lost almost all its capacity despite only ever being operated in standard settings and only 2 years old. GivEnergy have failed to respond to my email for over two weeks.

No response from Giverergy

No response from Giverergy
A week ago my 3 Givenergy batteries stopped supplying the house demand although 2 are full and the other almost full. I have tried contacting Givenergy on multiple occasions using phone, email, and whatsapp with absolutely no success.
I have tried all the instructions contained in the Troubleshooting Guide but none have resolved the issue.
If I had known how bad this company is at post installation support I would have gone elsewhere. As it is I have a very expensive system sitting idle while my solar energy goes to the grid and I use electricity from the most expensive times of the day

Difficult to Contact Support

Cannot get hold of support and no responses to emails. A helpful new "AI" phone service takes your details, but does not let you speak to a human, and no replies to emails. It is really unfortunate when the system advises you need to contact them for a low voltage reset after a power outage.

Only 4 weeks and counting now without any batteries.

Support is non-existent!

Getting any sort of support from this company seems impossible. On WhatsApp you type in your question, you're asked for name, surname and email and then get a message that they're busy and message them again. The phone line cuts off if you select the customer option. The website claims to have a bot button but it isn't there. Arrrrrhhhh!!!!!!!

Our GiveEnergy solar panels caught on fire

Our solar panels caught on fire and I urgently needed GiveEnergy to send someone out to deal with the problem but they have no customer service - it's existent. When only hold incessantly I'm told that I can contact them via live chat or Whatsapp but their website and app have no such support available. I never managed to reach them over the phone. Avoid this company at ALL COSTS.

Absolutely avoid this company.

Absolutely avoid this company.

Customer service is virtually nonexistent — emails go unanswered, web chat is unavailable, and phone support involves waiting over an hour just to speak to someone. When you finally get through, you're simply told to contact the installer, with no real assistance provided.

My WiFi stopped working on a unit that was only a few months old. I was informed it needs replacing, yet I’ve now been waiting over two months with no replacement and no clear timeline.

This system was a significant investment intended to reduce energy costs, but it’s clear the company has little interest in supporting its customers once the sale is made. Based on my experience — and many similar reviews — I strongly recommend staying away.
