This company used to be called Solid…

This company used to be called Solid but was bought by riddermark bil. They tried to sell me ins with a car but i declined. Conflict of interest. I also was told to badically piss off when my adblue lines were bad after 1 month. Both companies suck but some nice sales staff, tjey dont last long if any good.

SCAM, do not use them

I bought a second hand Range Rover with a 1 year warranty from Garantigruppen.
I had an issue with the exhaust system (sensor issue), Garantigruppen refused to cover the cost arguing it is out of the scope of the warranty, which it is not according to the document they provided.
The communication with the company is extremely poor, they just didn't answer to my email to appeal the decision.
Do not consider Garantigruppen as a security when you purchase a second hand car from a dealer.

⭐ 0/5 — Deeply Disappointed with Garantigruppen’s Service and Ethics

I would strongly advise anyone considering Garantigruppen to think twice before trusting them with your vehicle warranty. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare.

For over four months, I’ve been trying to get a valid warranty claim processed for my Porsche Panamera. Despite providing all necessary documentation, following up relentlessly, and watching Garantigruppen continually shift blame between themselves and the workshop (Verkbil i Svedala), I’m left without a working car and zero accountability from anyone involved.

Their main excuse? Alleged incorrect service intervals, despite the fact that:

The car has been serviced according to Porsche’s European guidelines (1 year or 15,000 km, not 10,000 km).

I’ve driven under 10,000 km since purchase.

No concrete proof has been given — just vague references to documents I was never allowed to see.

When I asked for transparency, they pointed fingers at the workshop. When I asked the workshop, they pointed back at Garantigruppen. No one takes responsibility, and I’m the one left paying the price — quite literally — with additional vehicle damage, devaluation, and rental car costs piling up.

To make matters worse, they quote fine print to deny any compensation for consequential damages. In other words, they don’t care what you lose as long as they can deny your claim.

Their communication is appalling — slow responses, unprofessional tone, contradictory messages, and empty promises to "review documents" that lead nowhere.

In short: Garantigruppen is not a trustworthy company. They use red tape, ambiguity, and poor service to dodge valid claims. Avoid them if you value your time, money, and sanity.
