Super uncomfortable crap.
UK BUYERS BEWARE: Predatory post-Brexit trap with a 54% hidden fee and NO RETURNS!
Do not buy from this website if you live in the UK. They are using an incredibly predatory and coercive pricing setup. I spent €183 on a pair of shoes, including delivery. Once the package hit the UK border, I received a demand from UPS for an additional £83 in surprise import and clearance fees—an astronomical 54% hidden surcharge on top of my purchase. To make this completely deceptive, Buffalo enforces a strict "no returns or exchanges" policy for UK customers. This creates a coercive trap: your items are held hostage at the border by couriers demanding extra cash, but you can’t walk away from the purchase without losing all your original money. This is classic digital "drip pricing" and it violates the UK's Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act (DMCCA).As a neurodivergent individual, the mental energy required to make online purchases is immense, and the pure excitement I felt for these shoes has been entirely crushed and heartbroken by this trap. Buffalo is actively exploiting consumers and punishing UK buyers for trade barriers by hiding the true cost in Euros until it is too late. I demand complete pricing transparency or for Buffalo to settle these border fees themselves. Avoid this brand!
received a collapsing sole shoe and received a discount
The quality of the pair I received was disappointing, but the customer service somehow managed to be even worse. The left shoe has an internal collapse in the sole, making the support unstable and noticeably different from the right shoe while walking. At this point, even if I followed customer service’s suggestion to keep them, it is difficult to imagine that they would last very long.
I documented the problem with photos and detailed explanations, but the replies conveniently avoided the central issue: replacing the product or providing clear, practical return instructions. After several emails over the course of a week asking how to proceed with the return, the issue was repeatedly left unanswered, despite it being clear that I was not receiving any of the email communications indicated on the returns page. After exercising my right of withdrawal through the online form, I received no confirmation and no instructions: no email, no procedure, no actual response.
In the meantime, my request for a replacement was not granted, leaving me with a defective pair of shoes that will likely become unusable before long. I was offered a voucher for a future order, as though the problem were that I wanted to repeat the experience. This is an internal structural defect which I tried to document with photos despite the difficulty of making it visible. In practice, I have been left with an unusable item and no concrete solution for either a return or a replacement.
Never buying from them again
I paid €10 for shipping to Portugal and ordered my usual size, but it's so small it would only fit someone two sizes down. This was never awarned on the website. To make matters worse, customer service is terrible-they expect me to pay for and handle the return shipping myself. Honestly, I've never experienced anything like this.
Shipping to UK beware
Shipping to UK beware, you will have to pay customs which is funny considering the brand is Buffalo London.
For the UK also they do not accept returns and the sizing is totally wrong.

Shoes labeled the ordered size (both inside label and box), the size that always fits me from any brand, including other pair from Buffalo, are ridiculously large (I can fit 3 extra fingers inside).
They refuse to do anything about their failure to deliver the ordered product.
The package has been returned, but a refund has not yet been issued
I placed an order over a month ago (Order Number: 1350143031). Due to an unexpected relocation, I was unable to pick it up from the UPS pickup point where it was originally delivered.
After contacting customer support, they kindly agreed to reship the package to my new home address.
However, it has been a week since that agreement, and when I check the tracking link, the package is still sitting at the exact same original pickup point, completely unmoved and nobody responds my emails anymore. It feels like my case has been overlooked, and I urgently need a resolution.
I would highly appreciate it if the support team could look into this reshipment and provide a real update or a new tracking number as soon as possible. I look forward to your response so I can update this review accordingly.
Update: They didn't send the package to the new address and they keep mixing up the order number constantly to avoid offering me a solution. Also I called to the pickup point and they said UPS took the package back to them. So they have the package back and didn't refund me any money.
DO NOT BUY BUFFALO!!! 10 broken pairs and terrible customer service
10 pairs later, I’m done. A €200 premium price for garbage, disposable quality.
If I could give Buffalo London 0 stars, I would. Please do yourself a favor and read the reviews here on Trustpilot and Reddit before spending a single euro on this brand. The quality has completely gone down the toilet over the years.
I was a loyal customer for a long time because their shoes are incredibly comfortable, but the drop in their manufacturing standards is completely unacceptable.
To date, I have owned 10 pairs of Buffalo products (both sneakers and sandals), and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them has suffered from severe, premature manufacturing defects. Every single pair fails within weeks or months. If you wear them often, no pair of Buffalos will last you more than a year.
I purchased their leather Classic Low 5 times (four in black, one in white since 2021). The quality was always an issue, at the beggning was after many months orin a year, now...is just in weeks or months.
I kept buying them because they are comfortable, but I was gaslighting myself into thinking I was somehow responsible for the damage, now that I read about other's people experiences I realize the quaity is just sh!t. I've finally had enough.
Every single pair fails in the exact same ways:
The Soles: They either split completely in half or detach entirely from the shoe.
The Insoles: The original insoles disintegrate into literal powder within weeks.
The Lining: The inner fabric lining gets ruined immediately, especially in the heel area, which gets full of holes after just a few weeks of wear. (This happens ALWAYS; there are countless Reddit threads proving it).
The Stitching: Constant loose threads and structural stitching problems as well.
My most recent pair was bought just TWO MONTHS AGO (in April)! They already look like they are a year old. The insoles are completely disintegrated, parts are ungluing, and the inner heel is destroyed. I literally had to put patches inside them just to stop them from falling apart completely after only 60 days of use! To top it off, I also have a pair of Buffalo sandals where the sole literally cracked and split completely in half after being worn maybe 15 times total.
And don't even get me started on the "vegan" versions. In 2021, I bought the vegan Corin model in white, and within two months they were completely ruined, looking as if I'd owned them for 5 years. The "leather" on the outside of their vegan sneakers and sandals completely destroys itself in no time. I had to throw away two pairs of vegan sandals after just 2 weeks because they gave me horrible blisters and the exterior turned hideous. It's a total waste of money.
When I finally reached out (yesterday 15.06) to Buffalo Customer Support to complain about this systemic, brand-wide quality issue, their response was to completely wash their hands of it. They told me that because my latest pair was bought through a third-party retailer (About You), I should contact them instead. Hello? About You didn't manufacture these defective sneakers—YOU DID! I wasn't even looking for a refund; I wanted to alert them that a customer who has bought 10 pairs of their shoes is telling them their manufacturing is failing.
They don't care about their brand reputation, they don't care about the quality of the products carrying their logo, and they absolutely do not care about customer retention. They are selling low-quality, disposable footwear at a premium price of around €200.
There is a reason this brand can barely scratch a pathetic 1.5-star rating on Trustpilot. They are a cash-grab company now. Do not waste your money. I am never buying from them again, and I am making sure none of my friends do either.
Worst service and return policy ever
This is insane! I ordered 38 size (I already wear 38 size of the buffalo boots and it suits me), but these are too big. I wrote the message about returning - they didn't answer. I texted them 5 times, they only answered once after more that a week, and said they have return policy for MY cost (it's 10 eur for one side) and it's available only during 2 weeks. And also I was needed to fill return list which they didn't put into the box. How convinient! I just cannot return it anymore, so why this company have return policy at all if it's not working?!...
Kisses for the fastest delivery ever…
Kisses for the fastest delivery ever (ordered them on Sunday, received them on Thursday) My last pair lasted over 5 years, put them through hell and they still looked good and the comfort is beyond expectations as well. Can’t wait to rock the new pair
Awful policy and customer service
Awful policy and customer service
A pair of shoes worn only maximum 10 times has been destroyed and torn and the upper part AND THE SOLES SPLIT AT THE POINT WHERE THE HEEL AND THE BIDY OF THE SHOE CONNECT
Not only the worst materials but also absolutely wrong construction
And what they answered to the complaint ? 20%off the next purchase as if I am going to buy again
Wish I could attach photos
Avoid, shoe size off and the customer pays for shipping in case of returns (ALSO FOR CHUNKY SHOES)
Avoid ordering. Ordered two pairs of chuncky shoes, one of which, 42eu, would fit a 10 year old in terms of width.
They accept returns WITHIN 14 DAYS and the shipping expenses are NOT included. No shipping label! And these are CHUNKY sneakers. What a clever marketing stance! How much would it cost me to ship from Italy?!?!?!
Never AGAIN.
Absolutely horrendous!
Absolutely horrendous!
I bought on December 2025 a pair of boots from the "vegan" line and they got completely broken from the sole.
The "vegan" thing just means plastic, the whole boot is made out of cheap material!
I will never buy again.
IMPORT FEES 50% of cost BEWARE
UK customers DONT ORDER - I wish I had read the reviews before ordering!
Order cost 164 euros for 2 pairs + £10.99 euros delivery & I had to pay £78.40
Pounds import tax! That’s nearly 50% of the total cost! It is on their site but very small for UK orders & should be made clearer for consumers
poor quality and fit
sorry but 100 euros shoes that say vegan means plastic, also in 46years its the first time in my life that my shoes are too big, and moreover... I have to pay for the retun, love the design, would I buy the shoes again in a 35... maybe vegan not, not to plastic, no to have to pay for the return , just no. Next time, advert this shoes as overprice plastic shoes that are too big, "warning" you have to pay if we made them too big
These shoes are not built to last
These shoes aren't built to last. Buffalo quality is in the toilet - I've purchased several pairs, different models and lines and they all seem to disintegrate and crumble to pieces within months. I raised with Buffalo and presented all proof of purchase coupled with images of how bad/quickly the shoes fall into disrepair - the rep (Melissa) was completely and utterly disinterested. They refuse to acknowledge the subpar materials used to build these shoes - vegan leather is just another pathetic scam to put flimsy plastic and rubber on your feet. I haven't had a solid year of wear from any of the shoes bought, it's so terrible.
Gravely unprofessional. Never again.
On December 2nd I bought a pair of their boots through their website. The courier damaged the boots in transit so they never delivered them, but destroyed what was left (this is protocol) and informed Buffalo of the fact. I know this because all of it is visible by inserting the tracking number that Buffalo gave me themselves in the courier's tracking system. I contacted Buffalo three separate times since, pointing out that the boots were meant for a Christmas present and they were destroyed, asking for a refund. Three weeks later they are still "in communication with the courier" despite the fact that the tracking page already tells them, and anyone who'd care to look, everything they need to know in order to issue a refund. They are trying to offload the cost of damage during transport to a customer. As of today I have reported the issue directly to my bank and asked for a chargeback. I'll never buy as much as a shoelace from them ever again.
Soles fell apart after 4 months
Bought a pair of brand-new platform sneakers from Buffalo and the bottom of the shoes cracked and fell apart after 4 months. I walk maybe one hour a day in a city environment so it's unacceptable that they wore out this fast. Stay away from Buffalo.
The sole of the boot is poor and I…
The sole of the boot is poor and I might get four months out of them. Do not buy.
Do not buy!
Do not buy! In the last year i bought two pairs from Buffalo Vegan line, one lasted 5 months, the other didn't last 3. By just normally wearing them, not in any extreme conditions. Soles come apart first and then the insides start to disintegrate.
