My phone was returened with a scratch
I sent my devices to Buyaphone.ie on 23.12.25 in good condition. Before sending, I took dated photos/screenshots showing the screen without scratches.
When the device was returned to me, there was a visible scratch on the screen that was not present before shipping. I contacted the company and provided the dated images taken before sending the device.
I asked Buyaphone.ie to provide photos or evidence of the device condition at the time they received it. No such evidence was provided to me, and I was told they could not verify my images.
Based on this experience, I was left without proof that the damage did not occur while the device was in their possession. This review reflects my personal experience and the outcome of my communication with the company.
UPD: Screenshots dated were provided, when I asked to provide pictures upon receiving and sending device - I was ignored. If you don’t want to get back device with new scratch on a screen that had none avoid this company. IMEI and you not being able to accept it, doesn’t mean you can damage and return it back. There was no demonstration to me provided that you did not damage it as you stated

We’re sorry but we cannot verify that these scratches were not present at the time of sending and you could not prove to us that the scratches were on the device before sending to us.
We take upmost care with all phones traded into us, as you can see with the other phone you traded into us and we happily paid for with no problem with you.
We can also see that you selected two different grades for the phones but did not enter the IMEI for which phone each grade related to.
Plus we explicitly say on our trade in site that we do NOT accept eSIM phones which is very clear on the grading which we will attach again for you to see, so we don't know why you sent us the device in the first place.
We are disappointed that we are accused of damaging a phone when we have clearly demonstrated we have not and do not damage any devices that come traded into us.

The inspection found scratches on one of the phones screens that I didn't notice and posted photos showing them with revised offer. 10/10 experience…
I was nervous at the beginning as the price offered seemed too good to be true!
