Packed improperly, damage virtually guaranteed
Only one complaint, but it was serious. Whoever packed did not wrap paper around the frame and then put it in the box. Instead they just put the wrapping paper in the box and then PUT THE FRAME ON TOP OF THE PAPER. With the front of the frame face up, right up against the top of the box where a customer would be using a knife or scissor to open it. Not knowing this, I was still careful but could not avoid scratching the center of the frame. I was, however, careful enough that the only damage was to the plastic protective sticker, but it was a close thing. Would STRONGLY recommend that the company review packing requirements with their staff.

Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Bad shipping. I ordered many frames, and several of them arrived damaged because they were not well packaged and they were banging one against the other in transit. Later I asked for a replacement and the item sent was not correct, but regardless of sending pictures, they insisted that is was correct. So I had to purchase it again. No understanding and no real willingness to listen. Ideally find another supplier for frames.

Do not recommend at all
I am very disappointed with the frames. The transparent plastic plate is not big enough, so the frame does not hold it and the plate/panel keeps falling out. It is disappointing to see this level of quality after paying so much, especially since there are much sturdier options available for a much lower price.

My first experience with BGA
My first experience with BGA, was unfortunately not a good one.
I went to the website to order some frames, and put in my filters (wooden material, real glass & 20x30). I was presented with the Trendy Oak option, which looked good, so I bought 4 pieces.
When I received the order, I found out it was an oak laminate, so I found the specifications for the product, and saw that it was actually an MDF, with an oak looking laminate. So I guess the logic from BGA's part, is that the frame is in fact wood, because its MDF..
As a first time customer, just browsing trough your website, it is not clear that its an Oak laminate, and not massive oak. From the info available when browsing, and the way the filters are set up, I expected the Frame to be massive oak.
Anyway, I called customer service, to explain the situation, and asked them if they would pay for the return of the frames, because I think the information is misleading, they did not understand my confusion and wouldn't pay for the return (its 29,90,-DKK)...
So that was a pretty bad first experience with this company, and I probably will not be doing business again.
If anyone from customer service wants to look into the matter, my order nr is: 6008851
UPDATE (I upped the rating from 1 to 3 stars):
Ok so I called again, to ask another question regarding the purchase of the return label, and the person I spoke to the second time was very helpful and took care of the issue right away.
So maybe there should be some alignment on your customer service policies? 🤷♂️

We have over 24,000 different frames on our website, and the filtering can therefore be a bit challenging at times. When filtering by “material”, frames with an MDF core will also appear. This is because MDF is a wood-based material, and therefore cannot be categorized under, for example, “metal”.
If you want to narrow down the selection further, you can filter specifically by “wood type”, where you can choose between options such as “Oak”, “Pine with real oak veneer”, “MDF (foil-coated)” and several others. On each product page, you can also find detailed information about the surface treatment and materials under the product specifications. If you have specific requirements for a frame, we always recommend reviewing these details to ensure the product matches your expectations.
Regarding returns, both of my colleagues followed our standard guidelines:
If you are not satisfied with the items you ordered, you are of course welcome to use your right of withdrawal, where the return cost is paid by the customer. In some cases, we can — as a gesture of goodwill — provide a return label, but this depends on the individual situation.

Damaged Items
I have received my order last Thursday and saw that two of the items were damaged, I have sent an email immediately to address the issue (same day) and provided photos of the damaged goods and a video showing what the damages are. The items remain unopened but until now, no one has responded to my emails it's super frustrating that the service is very slow. I really loved the coffee table albums but I might just order somewhere else.
