Very helpful in the sales team and good communication throughout. Good clear pictures showing any damage which eventually we couldn’t even find.
Very happy with our purchase.
Only one down side was that our hybrid battery had no charge when we took delivery and it only had 150km of fuel.
Also the 21 days return policy was well explained except for the fact it was 21days or 500Kms. This could have made a nasty surprise if we had decided to pick the car up rather than delivered. However the free delivery was great.
All in all very good service.

This company were easy to work with
This company were easy to work with. The car was competitively priced, was delivered on time and the condition exactly matched the description. When I collected the car and saw that the puncture kit had been removed they offered a small financial refund to buy a new kit, which was helpful. I didn't take any of the upsell warranty contracts as they are not surprisingly stacked in favour of the vendor!

There was a 5 day delay in delivery. But this was due to them finding and fixing a small fault. Cost us a bit more since we had to rent a car to cover this time.
We were worried about buying unseen over the internet. However the try for 21 days with option to return for free is actually a much better way to try a car, than a 20 minute drive from a garage or a private seller. The delivery to close to my home meant we could look at cars located all over the country. Picking up the car was simple. The car had been serviced and professionally cleaned. Only improvement for me would have been the option for a home delivery. I had to bus for an hour to the pickup point. So the entire process cost me a half days work. But so far, the car is perfect and happy with the service.

I bought two cars from this company the first arrived 10 days late due to a fault on the SOS system and did not match the specifications as advertised so I refused delivery.
I gave them another chance and the second car was due to be delivered on the 23/00/2026 I was called on 20/02/2026 to say that this car also had aSOS system fault and would not be delivered until 10/03/26 at the earliest. I cancelled this order.
My impression was that they are really good at communicating until they have your money after it’s hard to get any information.
In fairness they did return all my money on both occasions in full
I noticed in your reply you only mentioned one sale, it’s such a coincidence that both cars had the same SOS problem, once I can accept but twice with exactly the same problem beggars belief. So as you have avoided the “coincidence” in your reply, I stick with my two star review.

Cette intervention dépendant du constructeur, nous comprenons que le délai ait pu vous paraître long et que vous ayez finalement décidé de ne pas poursuivre votre achat.
Nous sommes désolés si vous avez eu le sentiment d’un manque de considération. Nos conseillers ont pourtant veillé à vous tenir informé en temps réel de l’évolution de votre dossier.

Horrible after sales experience
I bought a Peugeot from Autohero and insured my car through their partner, Flitter. Unluckily, my car's equipment, such as the front bumper and headlights, was stolen in the first month! I contacted Flitter. They said I had to show that my car was continuously insured before my purchase (even though I had insured it from day 1 of my purchase). I contacted Autohero to get a document that showed my car was continuously insured. They refused to give me the document or any support. It was an agony. Unbelievable agony. The manager of their after-sales told me not to contact them and solve my issue on my own!! While Flitter was their partner and just wanted to make sure that the car was insured before my purchase. It was such a horrible experience, but at the end, with the help of the police, I convinced them to show that the car was insured prior to my purchase and things moved forward. This is a big red flag, and I won't purchase anything from Autohero again!

Nous souhaitons réaffirmer que l’entreprise Autohero n’a en aucun cas l’obligation de fournir à des particuliers la preuve d’assurance de ses véhicules. Ce document interne et confidentiel n’est pas requis pour les démarches liées à un vol survenu après la livraison, c’est-à-dire après le transfert de propriété (cession à l’appui).
Notre refus à ce sujet est donc parfaitement légitime. Malgré des explications claires, répétées, ainsi que l’intervention d’un manager, il semble que ce point ait été difficile à comprendre de votre côté.
Nous vous avons invité à demander à la société Flitter de nous contacter directement, et nous leur avons répondu immédiatement en leur fournissant une preuve de cession du véhicule (en votre possession également). Nous n'avons ensuite pas eu de retour, que ce soit de votre part ou de Flitter après cet envoi.
Par ailleurs, contrairement à ce que vous avancez, nous n’avons jamais reçu de demande de la police. Nous peinons à comprendre votre frustration et cette volonté de porter atteinte à notre réputation en diffusant de fausses informations.
Nous vous souhaitons néanmoins une bonne continuation.

Easy way to find and buy a car
The car had a few imperfections before we saw it but mostly all of them polished off which was great. There was a lot of red tape when purchasing the car which I thought was annoying considering I paid cash for the car. This wasn't so great.

Buy a Car online????
My first experience of online car shopping and by far AutoHero shone above all the rest. Super easy to use website, every detail covered, photographs, history etc. I found myself returning to it time and time again as other sites just didn't offer the same experience.
Once I finally made my choice the buying process was so easy and straightforward and the home delivery made me feel like a child at christmas. Highly recommend the whole experience.
