Airbnb continues to list an apartment even though it has already ended its partnership with the host and still charges customers for bookings. When the customer manages to contact the host, they discover that the apartment is not even available to rent for the selected dates. Despite this, Airbnb claims that everything is fine and refuses to issue a refund. This is an obvious scam.

As a host, i will never list my property with them again, i clearly stated all my facilities incl CCTV in common areas, thabk God i had this installed as the last guest's were the worst breaking dinner sets and glasswear, they then told me that i am ib the wrong. I urge all hosts on Airbnb find another platform as all they care about is their commission.

I am a host. It's over 2 months that they hold the payments of 3 bookings. The assistance is inefficient, inadequate, frustrating: they ask for a document that I sent them several times, and every time they ask for the same thing as if I didn't send it. I think this service is managed by A.I. But beyond them there is an Artificial Insanity. I say this because don't want to think to a worse reason: holding the money you manage on behalf of someone else in my country is a crime

Air bnb is working and so profits from illegal settlements in Israel. I was a regular user before I learned this.

DO NOT USE THIS SITE EVER! Their customer service is worse than any other company I have ever used! It is just as bad whether you are a guest or a host. Use VRBO instead!

Nothing but praise when it comes to renting apartments, stays, payments etc.
But - at least the Finnish version has a LOT of errors in translations (especially the page interface)! Gives a bit unprofessional feel.

Some flats may be absolutely wonderful, but our experience of an apartment on Väinömöisen street was a nightmare day and night. Owner in Italy; carer vague; bed collapsed (and not the first time as we found breeze blocks under the slats supporting a previous collapse); photos misleading as there were no bikes as depicted; no radio, TV, or similar accessories; no chest of drawers, lived out of our suitcases for a week on the floor; had to sleep on the floor until carer got permission from Italy to source another bed. Might have been satisfactory for a one-night student back packer, but for a retired couple, no. Our review vanished into the ether, both Airbnb's and the owner's. (didn't think the owner could do this) No hint of any compensation. Paid €40 for post visit cleaning; how come it was filthy when we arrived? Have photos to show all this. No towels, until the carer sourced some. All in all, more trouble than it was worth and put a blight on what should have been a great stay in one of the world's best cities.
