The worst distributor of the earth. You can’t not even edit an release.

I used them back in 2017 when they were good. Now in 2026 I produced a new EP and decided to release on digital platforms so I subscribed to Amuse Pro because I thought they were good as before. But nah they simply suspended my account claiming that I violated copyright right after approving my release. No conversion, no chance to appeal. no documentation required. They just kept my subscription fee and royalties from previous releases. So how is my music infringing if it was never released? Nobody claimed my music on spotify or anything. I’m just disappointed that they turned into this. I bet that if my music was AI generated they give all support. Lil Nas X did a good thing by not singing a deal with Amuse, seriously 🔥

Hi Victoria, thanks for your review.

We'd like to provide some additional context for anyone reading this.

At Amuse, copyright infringement and ownership claims are taken extremely seriously. Every report is carefully investigated in line with our Terms of Use and the requirements of our partner stores. After a thorough review of your account, we determined that it had violated our Terms of Use, which resulted in your account being frozen and your releases being taken down.

These decisions are never made lightly. They're an important part of protecting artists, rightsholders, and the integrity of the music ecosystem, and they're processes that all distributors are expected to follow.

We'd also like to clarify one point from your review. AI-generated music is not given preferential treatment at Amuse. While we do support AI-generated music, it is subject to additional restrictions, including store-specific limitations and release limits that we enforce in line with our policies and our partners' requirements.

We've already sent you an email with more information about your case. If you have any further questions, you're always welcome to reply to that email or contact us at support@amuse.io. We'll be happy to provide any additional information we're able to share.

Amuse is great

It's a great way to distribute music and other types of vocal preformens art. I sometimes find it difficult to fill out the questions regarding credits/the roles when it's my original content. I wish there was an option for if you have done it completely by yourself so you don't have to fill out everything separately. Like "I have produced, recorded and composed this myself" and one for the cover art "I have created the art for the cover". It would make it a lot easier and accessable for people with disabilities as well. I get worried I've filled something out wrong and I don't think I'm alone in that. I do highly recommend Amuse for independent artists, it's a great way to get your work out there and there are a lot of resources available to artists that I haven't seen anywhere else.
Side note, I would like to see an option for spoken word art and possibly audio books as a release option. I'm a poet and unpublished author, having the option to publish my book as an Audio book would be amazing and I'd love to do it via Amuse.

Terrible distributor, run from it!

There were no copyright infringement in my music, they are scammers and found an excuse to suspend my account and keep all my money. I never had copyright claims on my music. I was using them for a few days and decided to move some part of my music catalogue, suddenly I received an email that they suspended my account simply because I was moving my own music from another distributor. I’m preparing paperwork with my lawyer to file a massive lawsuit against them for keeping my royalties.

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

At Amuse, we take copyright infringement very seriously and have developed sophisticated processes to detect any content that violate our Terms of Use or those of our partner stores.

After carefully investigating your account, we found that it had violated our Terms of Use, and as a result, your account has been frozen, and your releases have been taken down. We’ve sent you an email with the details - if you haven’t received this, please check your spam folder. Provided your royalties are not withheld by the stores, you will still be able to withdraw them.

We want to emphasize that these processes are followed by all distributors, as the integrity of the digital music industry is taken seriously by our partner stores and us.

If you need further clarification, we suggest reviewing our Terms of Use and seeking advice from an entertainment attorney.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best regards,
Team Amuse
