Even after repeated requests to use the select image. Don’t waste your time and money with this poor quality APP.

Limited messages and attachments. You cannot carry on a message or chat without using an image or flie that you want the bot to understand due the fact you only get three attachments to use, which is highly unnecessary if you are trying to force people to get premium just to use a single picture. Chatgpt in general is extremely sensitive and will give you wrong ass answers and completely different opinions than what Gemini will tell you. It cannot handle things that involve the word kissing, romance, intimate, without turning things into something child friendly. It does not follow instructions you give it, unless you edit the message! CHANGE THIS BROOO WE TRYNA PASS HIGHSCHOOL! 😭🙏

I used the free version of ChatGPT for about 18 months, and it worked well during that time; today I was generating some work-related images and it did a perfect job. Then it told me it couldn't help anymore unless I paid for Plus. I was in a rush, so I paid—supposedly a monthly fee—but it only helped with two images before telling me I couldn't make any more and had to pay an even higher rate. It stopped helping me altogether; basically, it was more helpful when it was free than when I was paying. Don't fall for this scam—there are plenty of better AI options out there. It's a total rip-off.

I have been using ChatGPT for a while now, and I am increasingly frustrated with the quality of responses. When you ask a direct question, it very often does not answer what was actually asked — instead, it goes off-topic, talks about something completely different, or gives a long reply that misses the point entirely.
Worse still, right in the middle of a conversation, it frequently stops responding completely. You have to rephrase, retry, or start the whole conversation over again just to get it to continue. It is unreliable, does not stay on topic, and fails to provide direct, clear answers to straightforward questions. Very disappointing experience.

I have been using chat for several months now and have tried the paid version as well as the free and I love it, but 1 star is a fair score. The biggest issue I have is it NEVER gets the answer right first time, you have to push back to get the correct answer. It’s also extremely annoying that it is so bias to the US even when you are logged in and registered as in the UK, when you push back on this you get an apology But still get American bias answers. And as for help solving software issues on Windows it is at best Diabolical, no matter how much detail you provide it gives answers for older software or versions of windows and 100% cannot be trusted BUT I still love it as it’s incredibly fast and does get it right after a pushback or two for most things and the picture repair and generator is incredible. The most annoying thing about it is, it never simply answers your question, it explains things you already know and didn’t ask and inevitably goes off on a tangent. It’s clear AI has a VERY LONG WAY TO GO but it’s still incredibly clever and great fun as well as frustrating 🤦‍♂️.

Dosent Work Piece of trash

Experienced multiple outages during the month of August, some for two or three hours at a time. When working with ChatGPT customer service, they refused to provide compensation for my lost productivity due to outages that were their fault. They also acknowledged that their customer service is AI and often makes mistakes and because of that they could not be held responsible for periodic outages. This is like an airline saying, we will not provide compensation for you if your flight is delayed. Except at least, FAA governs airlines. I am canceling my pro subscription.

I have been using ChatGPT extensively for serious, ongoing projects, and my experience has deteriorated to the point that I am seriously considering canceling my subscription.
This isn't about ChatGPT occasionally giving a wrong answer. The larger problem is that when something goes wrong, ChatGPT can repeatedly make assumptions instead of carefully examining the information and screenshots provided, sending the user down completely wrong paths and creating more work instead of solving the original problem.
My latest experience has been unbelievable.
Multiple ChatGPT Projects suddenly disappeared from my account. The individual conversations still exist and can be searched and opened, but entire Project containers are missing. These Projects represented substantial amounts of organized work, including ongoing technical, automotive, software-development, retro-computing and business projects. Some may also have contained project instructions and uploaded files.
I had already experienced other frustrating reliability problems while trying to use ChatGPT for substantial technical projects, but losing the organizational structure around ongoing work crossed another line.
Then the troubleshooting became almost worse than the original problem.
I supplied screenshots showing exactly what was on my screen. Despite that, ChatGPT repeatedly assumed what software and interface I was using instead of actually paying attention to the screenshots. It incorrectly decided I was using Chrome. After I corrected that and said I use Firefox, it then assumed a screenshot of the ChatGPT Windows application was Firefox and repeatedly instructed me to use a browser address bar that did not even exist in the application I was showing it.
I had to repeatedly correct the AI that was supposedly helping me.
Then I contacted OpenAI Support.
Support instructed me to use Settings → Account → Sign out in the Windows application. I opened Account and supplied a screenshot. There was no Sign out option. There was, however, a very prominent Delete account button, which is certainly not something a user dealing with missing data wants to be anywhere near.
Support then corrected itself and told me to use Settings → Security → Active sessions → Log out of all sessions.
I supplied another screenshot of the complete Settings menu.
There was no Security section.
So I was now receiving incorrect UI instructions from both ChatGPT and OpenAI's own automated Support system while trying to recover missing OpenAI data.
The support bot also kept suggesting generic local troubleshooting such as browser cache/session troubleshooting even after I had established that the same missing Projects were missing on multiple devices, including the Windows application and my phone. That should have been a major indication that this was not simply a local Firefox cache problem.
Support eventually requested identifiers for conversations that survived inside the missing Projects. I provided links for surviving Copper and Commodore project conversations, screenshots of the missing Projects, information about when the problem occurred, and confirmation that I had already exported my account data.
Only after all of this did the automated support system finally say:
“Escalated to a support specialist; You can expect a response in the coming days.”
Days.
This is after a paying customer has potentially lost the organizational structure, instructions and files associated with substantial ongoing work and has already spent hours helping OpenAI troubleshoot its own product.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that ChatGPT can be incredibly capable when it works correctly. That potential is exactly why I invested so much time building projects and workflows around it. But capability means very little if I cannot trust the system to preserve my work, accurately interpret what I show it, or provide competent support when something breaks.
I should not have to troubleshoot the AI that is troubleshooting the software made by the company that built the AI.
OpenAI needs much better Project reliability, recovery mechanisms, transparent backups/versioning, current UI documentation, and a support system that recognizes when generic troubleshooting has already been disproven and escalates the problem to a knowledgeable human.
At this point, the accumulated reliability problems and this support experience have me seriously considering canceling ChatGPT entirely.
I don't expect perfection from AI. I do expect a paid product entrusted with substantial amounts of work to preserve that work—and when something goes wrong, I expect its support system to know how its own current software works.

I've said to my self so many times now to not try this app again!!!! Because 100% of the answers I get is totally wrong!!! Ever time!!!! TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!!!!!

They are charging me for 2 accounts, one that I use and another that I have no idea that existed. The reviews tel me more that I couldn't write here.

Insanely high amount of downtime. Don’t take my word for it, just check the 90 day history on their status page. It’s almost daily outages, sometimes very brief, sometimes several hours in the middle of the work day. Definitely not a service I would suggest relying on.

This app kept on giving me wrong answers when am trying to finish my homework and do something else and this app is also really really bad I most definitely do not recommend this app.

It's not good. It is that simple. If you want to use it to regenerate an image with alterations or do basic tasks, it seems fine. But for anything more than that, it is mediocre at best. I've been using it for weeks now to try and get a "passable" chatbot AI Agent using OpenAI's own tools, and I give it an overall score of 1/5. Horrible. Frustrating. For any of the 20 year-olds worried about AI taking your jobs, don't worry. OpenAI is little more than a calculator. It does 2+2 fine. Give it something more complicated, and my experience is that it fails more often that it succeeds.

Credits consumed by a technical error and the only option they gave me is cancel or accept it. Effectively paid for a service and not been able to use it. Shame.

The image generation is intentionally vague. Has anyone notice they don't post anywhere how many images you can have it generate before you "hit your limit"? Then it states a time when it "resets" or you can "upgrade" to get more image generations. But again, no counter on that limit. So one day you could get 10 images, the next it may be 20, then the next it could be 15... No one knows and they refuse to tell you. They want the ability to change it as they see fit. This also doesn't matter which plan you pay for.
If you have the Plus tier, it asks you to upgrade to Pro to get more images. But it won't tell you how many more. Even if it says you get 5x or 10x more... more than what?
That 5x and 10x are ambiguous on purpose. It sounds like you're getting a lot more, but can you really say that if you don't know the base it's using.

Rubbish company, rubbish machine, rubbish everything. I did not care for the Sora.

This shitty thing is a mistake that made my entire area an arid wasteland without water for miles, and the RAM prices in my area are ludicrous. 1,045$ for ONE STICK?!

One star, would never use again.
