the free gift was a nice surprise

the free gift was a nice surprise, and something I can use as well. The only thing is I still get just as many promotional texts even right after completing my order, and I think this is one thing you could improve the experience to be a little less pushy on current customers.

Canadian customer experience

I'm a big book buyer and I travel across the border to pick up my shipments and it's not only inconvenient when they are all split up, but since I pay per parcel to receive them, it becomes not so 'thrifty' when every book or every couple books in one shipment are split up and become separate items. It's confusing at the border too when calculating my tax. If my receipt says 1 shipment, I should be able to expect 1 parcel, not 3 or 4 or it should be specified. Yesterday I had to borrow cash in order to pay to receive 3/4 of my 1 shipment. As its an hour drive each way each time, I'd be willing to wait longer until All books in my shipment have been delivered.

Next thing, with a Canadian billing address, as I pay taxes on each book to import from the US, I should not be charged sales tax when I order online. This is an error in your online payment system that should be a legal requirement to be corrected. Please change this so I can continue to enjoy your books for years to come without being unnecessarily overcharged.
