Review of Zezgo
Hello, When picking up the reserved rental on 2/21/23, I was given false information on the toll Highways, in the state. I was told that there are many tolls on I-95 in Northern Florida; when in fact there are NO tolls on I-95 in the state of Florida. There are toll roads in Florida, but not on I-95. In addition to this, I was offered to sign up for a flat rate of $10.00 additional, per day, for tolls, for the duration of the rental. I said I had my own NY EZPass with me, which covers any Florida toll roads. I was told that Zezgo has SunPass on its windshield and so the tolls will automatically go on that. These devices can easily be taken on and off of windshields- so renters can use their own device, if they choose to. However, even if Zezgo did not wish to do that, there is no reason why Zezgo can't just charge the renter what tolls they actually incurred. Zezgo has the renter's credit card on file. I don't see how it is fair to charge someone for tolls that they actually never used. I used approximately $5 - $6.00 in tolls for the entire duration of the rental and was charged $70.00.
This is unfair and unjustified to do to the consumer. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
As for the politeness of staff, the quality of the vehicle and availability of picking up/dropping off at the airport, that was well handled.

All Zezgo vehicles are registered under a corporate policy and fitted with transponders. Customers are NOT permitted to use their own Sunpass or E pass transponder, any damage to the fitted Zezgo tolls transponder during the rental will incur a $250.00 penalty which will be debited from the customers credit card.
Zezgo offer 'RightPass which is an all-inclusive service that incorporates the Sun Pass and E Pass. If you do not purchase the RightPass you are responsible for the payment of all tolls incurred during the rental period and you agree to pay an additional admin fee of $25.00 exclusive of applicable taxes for each day you use toll roads.
The options we provide to purchase Sunpass are as below.
Option 1: Fully paid Sunpass is $14.95 per day excluding applicable taxes. This covers you for ALL toll charges.
Option 2: Part paid Sunpass is $6.95 per day excluding applicable taxes. Additionally, you will be charged for all the tolls you use.
